I got my Root canal done by Dr Ryan on March 29th and he was very patient and friendly and attentive with my needs. They were running a bit late that day but i came late too so I can't complain about that but because we started late and also because my tooth nerve was not straight and was curved, it took much longer. I could tell that everyone was leaving and we were like the last one in the office. I could tell that the assistant wanted to leave already but Dr Ryan still took his time to do the best job he could do. My girl works in the dental office and I have a dentist friend (they don't take my insurance) I showed them what he did and they said it was impressive how he did a good work on my root canal. Hopefully I don't have to do another root canal in the future but if i have to do another one, I would definitely come back to him. read more

I got referred here by my Dentist a year or so ago and I was hoping they could do treatment on my tooth. Back then, my insurance covered somewhat of the procedure but I was expected to pay $750 additionally out-of-pocket so I decided to save up and come back. The office experience wasn't as professional as it could've been - one of the receptionist was a bit rude, but the general dentist who referred me was quite knowledgeable and informative on what was to come... Now I'm ready to get work done but I can't get ahold of the office and well, reflecting on my visit there I think the receptionist is overwhelmed with her job or miserable in life. I felt she was a bad example for the younger receptionist who was in the front with her... This is the most horrible dentist I've ever been to. The front desk receptionist Norma was so nasty to me and was very unprofessional. I was here for my appointment on time and haven't been seen for over an hour and half they wrote my name wrong aswell and just were so poor at communicating. Literally just got my wisdom teeth removed right now and since i am "drugged" out i asked my mom if she was given my wisdom teeth and she says they only gave me one because the other ones cracked so i said one is better than nothing. So she looks in my jackets pockets to look for them and nothings there.... my mom goes to the girl that dropped me off in the wheelchair and mentions how my one wisdom tooth wasn't in my jackets pocket like she said. So the girl told her to speak to the front desk, my mom goes in and she said they treated her very rudely!!!! My mom is an elderly person!! So i called Norma, the front desk person about what had happened and me wanting my extracted wisdom tooth (at least the one that didnt "break) and she tires to tell me that i had just gotten surgery and should "calm" down by saying the sedative was the one speaking.....and to just call tomorrow. Like homegirl i am NOT like other people, this sedative might have my mouth numb and not being able to enunciate correctly but i know what i'm talking about or thinking!!! Norma tried to answer my question with some corona virus bs procedure.... obviously if you're working you cant have it, if i'm getting the service done i dont have it & if my wisdom teeth are INSIDE MY MOUTH they cant carry the virus!!!! This frustration all comes from the first girl who took my x-rays mentioned how many people who keep them make jewelry out of there so i mentioned how my mom was one of those!!! By her mentioning this, i assumed patients keeping THEIR body parts was normalized. Especially since i wanted to do the same. Today, was my appointment and not only did the assistant poke ME twice when trying to sedate me, but the Surgical doctor had to step in to help them, another nurse trued to help!!! I should have known this was a red flag... but my dumbass stayed. Besides the horrible experience, they also charged me $450 for and xtra set of x-rays that were done with the SAME machine they used the first time. According to them there was a nerve running along my wisdom tooth making it dangerous.... they took the xrays and didnt even bother to give me some clarity or explain that everything would be okay. If you are looking for a place to do this procedure, look else where, if you are referred here by you're doctor like i was, look else where as- well!!! read more

I was there a few months ago because my regular dentist sent me with them and they said we have to wait for Medical to approve it, so I waited but they never called me back to let me know it got approved, so I called back they give me an appointment for this past Monday. They say I need to pay for the CT scan which they told me few months ago that cost $250 now it's $450 I was willing to pay because I need the service. So I paid only for them to tell me the dentist doesn't feel comfortable to do any right now. So they schedule me for next month, but I was in pain so the same Monday I look for another dentist and he saw me the same day, he took care of the infection I had. So this place just took my money. I called today to see if I can get a refund and they said no. They never said in the beginning they cannot do it or they don't feel safe doing it. They said we need a Medical approve, and that I will have to pay for the CT scan that's it, so I did paid for it and then after that they said not feel comfortable doing it. read more

By far one of the worse places I have visited. They didn't even open the door to talk to me. I pentianly waited for 10 min. I called them asked them if they were close I explained my I had referral and the rude receptionist just told me we can't help you today just go to the hospital without even know my situation. --gave a one star, but if I could I would have given it "0"--- Brought my child to the office on a referral for a root canal, staff proceeds to mix up referrals (brought an adult female's referrals instead and proceeded to take the wrong X-rays.) When I tried to explain that this was not my child--staff acted as if I was wrong and insisted it was the correct referral, when in fact, it was NOT. In general, receptionists and staff are rude and condescending. Front desk receptionist has a very bad attitude and is very rude to clients both in person and on the phone. It took about 2 hours for the dentist to finally see us, and then she insisted that we needed an anesthesiologist which would not be covered by insurance. I am actually pretty upset with my general dentist for such a horrible referral. The staff is very nice, always welcomes you with a smile and makes sure to fully understand what it is you need. They also explain everything clearly and answer all questions to ensure you know what is going on. Once they bill your insurance, which they take care of everything, they then follow-up with you on any pending financial matters. When I had an emergency, they got me in the same day. Dr. Kristina take care of the tooth that day, she also made sure I had a prescription to stop the pain. She knew I was in pain and did everything in her power to mitigate my pain, and it was perfect. The whole staff is very friendly and always attentive. From my first visit to my second, it had been a few months. But she still remembered me and had a quick conversation to ensure that I was in good hands. Review The place is beautiful with high end Technology $25 fee due to COVID-19 The receptionist in the front told me verbally that I needed a 3D X-ray in order for my insurance to cover my root Canel. She did not have a paper showing me the price and what was going to be done. She told me verbally that it was $150. I wanted to give her my card that way she can charge it and she said that it was fine that I can pay it on my way out. I told her it was fine so I got it done. The dentist seen my X-ray and said that she will send it to my insurance. I went to the front desk to give her my card. She charge my card for $450 and then she gave me a paper that said $450 . I told her wait you said $150 that's why I agreed to it. She said no I said $450. I didn't have another choice than to get ripped off. The day of my root canal came I got it done and after the dentist suppose to give me antibiotics and pain medication prescription and she didn't. I got a horrible infection ! Due to my root Canal. I wasn't able to open my mouth fully because I had a lot of pain. It was so hard and painful to swallow. I went back to my regular dentist and they were upset because I got a big infection due to my root canal I got done in LA Smiles Specialty Center just because they didn't give me a prescription of antibiotics and pain medication. read more

Norma at reception was the first person I saw and informed me on what to expect and was super nice with everything. I brought my son here because this is 1 of the places his insurance covers for a root canal. I was t to impressed with the outside of the building til I got inside.. it's very nice clean, staff is awesome, had a great convo with the dentist and set up my next appointment for my son on March 4. We were totally looking forward for his appt. March 3rd I get a call from my sons school saying I had to pick him up from school because he had flu like symptoms and they wanted him test for Covid-19. I called the dentist office to let them know what was going on. I didn't want to cancel my appointment, I know there a charge for canceling an appt. 48 hours before the appointment time. I spoke to one on the girls up front I didn't get her name. But she's always to the left when you walk into the office. 1st the didn't want to work with my sons appointment on rescheduling due to him might having Covid. It obvious they don't care for the clients staff or doctors to my son possibly having Covid, due to not being able to reschedule my appt for another day. I wanted to protect the staffs and clients because my son came out positive on Friday, the day of our appointment. I wasn't making excuses on me not being able to go. My son came out positive for Covid and still the staff didn't want to work with me and still trying to charge $150 if I were to come back and make the appointment. The lady was like you would still need to pay before your-seen. Like WTF!! My son is positive.. but they don't care if your ill Or have something contagious to where the whole business could close over $150 to reschedule. I can't begin to express how amazing Dr. Ryan Raouf is. He performed a root canal on me. In the past, I've had a terrible experience at a different dental office and was terrified of this procedure. Dr. Raouf was informative about the procedure, he was reassuring during the procedure and handled my root canal with care.
