I came in for my follow up appointment which I scheduled months ago. The receptionist seemed confused. She eventually tells me she found my appt and to have a seat. I sat there 40 minutes to find out she never saw my appointment. According to her it's next week. Two problems, first of all why lie about what you saw on the computer. Secondly, why have me wait to ask if I don't mind being seen by someone else, to then change your mind and tell me I need to reschedule to next week. This place truly deserves 0 stars. Worst customer service I have ever had, front desk girl was rude and dismissive. She quoted me for consultation then after I received service they up charged me on every little thing. When I asked to discuss these charges she got irritated and said I can call my insurance to figure it out and then went back to her phone. The dentist assistant was taking phone calls while working on the patient next to me often stepping into the room I was left unattended to speak on the phone and laugh while I was just there. I regret receiving service here. I left with a big bill and the worst service and not a single person in that office even introduced themselves before diagnosing or after services so I have no idea who they were. Such a lazy and unprofessional way to run practice. Don't recommend visiting, all these positive reviews are incentivized by a $5 gift card they advertise at the front desk for leaving a review. This practice looks shady and it run like that too so I'd advise to avoid there are better options out there. read more

My upper front tooth had been discolored over the years due to childhood trauma and as of recently started hurting whenever I was drinking or eating anything cold. It was the worst timing since I was a couple weeks away from leaving the country and also getting married in a month. I was afraid of the possible complications that may occur if I did any major treatment now on my tooth. But the pain was unbearable so I knew I had to seek treatment right away. Being as I'm a dentist myself I knew it was absolutely imperative to find the right doctor to work on my upper front tooth. I was referred by a dental colleague of mine and am so happy that she sent me to Downey Endo. The doctor (who I unfortunately forgot his name) was so thorough and professional. We had a long discussion and reviewed X-rays together and I appreciated that he had the patience to go over all the risks and benefits for doing treatment. I never felt pressured into doing treatment at all and he was empathetic to my situation. I went ahead and got treatment done that same day and it was the best dental experience I ever had. Easier than the only filling I ever got when I was 12. His numbing technique was spot on (didn't feel a thing). I was comfortable the entire time. And I noticed he took his time doing my root canal which I appreciated. I had one day of gum soreness and pain but after that my tooth felt normal again. I was referred by my dentist to come here for a few root canals. The doctor was super helpful explaining everything that needed to be done with my teeth i got one of two root canals done . The procedure was painless coming from someone with a low pain tolerance I just felt to push on my tooth and that's all I had zero pain when I was getting it done for the whole procedure . The dentist keep me in the loop telling me every step he was doing on the tooth made me feel calm and secure. Got a root canal by Dr. Snow. Was a bit skeptical, nervous, and scared because I heard from many people it was a very painful procedure. I was avoiding to get it done but finally decided to do it. I did my research and saw positive reviews on this clinic for root canals. And yes, indeed. All was true! I didn't feel anything! Only the small pinch for anesthesia other than that everything went well and smooth to my surprise. I healed very well and was able to eat after numbing went away. Highly recommend this place. My wife had to clear her throat and was kicked out due to the dentist jumping to the conclusion she had covid (though she had tested negative within the past day) I would not even consider going to this place in which a dentist who DOES NOT and HAS NOT attended medical school, proclaims to know when an individual is sick and can diagnose them on the spot. Azling, D.D.S. & Associates that recommended I see an endodontist, for my root canal treatments. Went to yelp to find an endodontist that was covered by my insurance and got really lucky that this place had the best reviews and was covered. All the staff were very helpful and got me in as soon as possible for my root canal. The doctor and his assistant were very accommodating and communicated each step very effectively. Obviously root canals are no fun, but the staff made it as comfortable as possible. It has been 2 days since I had the treatment and have been able to control any discomfort with OTCs. I know I'm not alone when I say I fear getting any dental work... I was sent here to complete my root canal because my regular office couldn't accommodate my work schedule. Needless to say I walked in there with my nerves at 100! The staff was support helpful and understanding, they did a great job explain my treatment but most importantly they helped by validating and normalizing my worries, the girls (receptionist and dental assist) were forcoming and friendly they offered kind words. I work in mental health, so I was very pleased how they interaction with me while I was slightly in worry mode. I'm bad with names, so please forgive me. The receptionist knew my name when I walked in, she was very thorough and friendly. The dental assistant went out of her way to make me feel comfortable made sure I understood my fees and my treatment plan, she even educated me on what to expect the next few days. The doctor was friendly, also explained what he would be working on, he allowed me to do the things I needed to do to ease my nerves such as listen to music n cover my eyes with my sweater. He was done with me in 30mins!!! The cherry on top, I got a welfare check the next day by a sweet girl. Let me start by saying I am extremely happy at this very moment because Dr.Kamyar saved my freaking tooth!!! I had a route canal done on ( tooth #31)years ago and it was poorly some to say the least. The prior dentist added a tempary crown and just left it because he said it would be more complicated to remove it and add the permanent one and advise me to just leave as it was. Fast forward a couple years and BAM I have the same issue with the same tooth. I went to get two different opinions as far as if I should treat it or do an extraction. Long story short I chose to fight for my tooth since I'm only in my 20's and have heard that once you extract, then your mouth starts shifting since your removing a bone. Dr.Kamyar made it very clear to me that extracting my tooth was defenitly a possibility but would try his hardest to treat it. I'm defenitly glad I went here because he did an amazing job and saved my tooth. The staff was so sweet and helpful as well. First of all, when I walked into the office, I felt great by the beauty of it. It is a newly remodeled office and as far as I understood, lots of the designs for the office are Dr Edalat's ideas himself! I was treated very well by the staff. The atmosphere was very nice and inviting. Dr. Edalat is one of the most gentle and knowledgeable dentists I've ever met. He is very good at explaining the treatment procedure and what he is going to do to your teeth before he does it and this manner calms the patients like me who are very nervous about what is going to happen to their teeth!
