The meat itself was seasoned well, however a bit too rough to chew. I'd rate it 3/5. I'm used to only chicken in America being ready to go! They also have several alcoholic selections, beer and other spirits. This store offers self check out as well as the cashiers who are ready to assist. They also offer pesos exchange currency which is highly suggested to carry around when visiting Mexico. But this store also accepts debit/credit cards. The eggs were the iconic topic of the weekend; coming at a pack of 30 for $5.47 you definitely cant beat that in America's current prices. We survived off eggs for our four day weekend in Rosarito. Food definitely tastes different compared to California's groceries, but that's because they probably don't use pesticides in their veggies and such. Most of their produce is grown near by so I'm sure that's where the stores get their supply. Overall, this store was a huge convenience to have next to our Airbnb stay, walking distance makes it even better. Parking lot is big as well.

Their gelato is made on site and carry about 20 flavors. They sell by the cup or you can buy a half lt. take away. The coffee was delicious! They made my wife a delicious latte and a mocha (with whip) for me. Did I mention they have a machine dedicated to making whipped cream! AMAZING! It was a touch on the sweet side for me but this would be perfect for most! Better a little sweet than bitter. There is seating inside and in an enclosed patio. Plenty of seating! They are closed on Monday & Tuesday. We were informed this is when they make the gelato. So gotta try the pistachio gelato! it's not bright green like some but perfect in flavor because it's made with real pistachios! So color a little bit darker and more natural! The stracciatella ( cream and chocolate chips) was perfect! Visited this small mom-and-pop grocery market multiple times on our trip to Baja! Despite the small…read moresize, it is really useful to have on a stretch of highway in Primo Tapia where there is not much else going on. It was a perfect source for our food runs since we stayed at an AirBnb nearby. It's pretty dark inside where there is a wall of produce shelves with vegetables like cilantros, cebolla (green onions), rábanos (radishes), and yams. There's plenty of fruit like apples, bananas, mangos, pera (pears) and kiwi. You can find an assortment of household items from toilet paper to cleaning products to canned goods. Spices, chips and ice cream bars are also available. We picked up some fruit and toiletries on our previous stop. Next door is a bakery too, so your stop here won't be in vain if you can't find anything. The store is at traffic intersection and taxis are parked outside, so it's fairly convenient and easy to spot. If we visit again, we'll probably stop by!
