I didnt have internet so couldnt check yelp. Add me to the list. 15 euros for a lunch fish and chips special. Frozen fish with blah fries and a small salad. They claimed homemade. They charged 6 euro for water. Couldn't get eau table. My wife's pasta was Ok. So much for a locals recommendation. They must have been paid off. Must spend 50 euro to use a credit card.

They had a credit card machine but told me only cash, not sure why. The staff was friendly but not worth going back with those prices. I was tired from my day of traveling, hungry and it was after 10:00pm. I knew it wasn't going to be great and that it would be overpriced. It was ok food, I ate it and I was full. End of story. If there are not other options, go ahead.

6 euro hot chocolate. Too sweet.

I don't even want to give this place a star... We were starving and the place looked inviting because of the fire place..The bill came out to be 59 EURO! I ordered ONE hot chocolate but he brought two...my husband drank it anyways thinking it wouldn't cost much.. WRONG! 12 euro total. We ordered two specials, one being fish and chips the other being beef stew. It took forever to come out and it was terrible. The fish was rock hard and the beef was inedible. 30 euro. I was dying of thirst and I knew the water would be expensive.. but not 6 euro expensive... Lastly, the waiter offered bread.. Shouldn't bread be free? Or at least tell you that there is a fee.. 11 euro for 4 pieces of bread!!!!!!!! The waiter wasn't nice or friendly. He sat at the bar talking to the bartender while a woman was choking on their beef stew.. I honestly thought she was going to die until the owner rushed over to help her. I would not recommend this place at all. Even if you're hungry, walk a few blocks down for better food and quality. You wont regret the extra few minutes for delicious food.

Do not come here. These people are dishonest. We ordered two cappuccinos (4€). They gave us a double with whip cream costing 9.5€ each. When the drinks came, I told them it's not what I ordered. They insisted that it's their version of cappuccino. The waffle was 9€ and was terrible. It was dried and burnt. 28€ for two coffee and a piece of toast. On top of that, the service was terrible. The old guy insisted that we sit in the corner with a table for two. He said the bigger tables are for four. It was a Tuesday night and no one was there. Not sure who he's saving the tables for. It's just a terrible place to be.

I know better than to eat a restaurant in a city center- but my friends were very hungry, and we have weird dietary restrictions, so Italian is usually a safe bet. So we sat down at this place. I expected to pay more, but at least get a tasty meal. It is hard to mess up pasta. This place succeeded. I am not a picky eater, and I detest giving bad reviews. I often worry that I may skew reviews to high. If I could rate this place lower I would. This is one of the worst meals I have ever had anywhere. I had the arrabbiata- the pasta was bland, the sauce had no flavor, and the peppers were not even cooked. A bottle of water was €6. My friend had the steak, it was tiny, over cooked, and over priced. It is cash only. It is ridiculously over priced. And it is bad. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Asked about the special posted on the door after we sat down....he pretended not to hear. 6 euro water later, and 11 euro fries. Just don't eat here. The food is awful. I would sooner eat the food cart fries across the square after they had been dropped in a public WC.

The food is very mediocre and they don't explain that if you don't charge at least $50 you can't use your card

With so many options, we were excited to explore what they had to offer. Today, we ordered the onion soup, shrimp and cheese croquettes with salad, rabbit with potato croquettes, and the beef stew with fries. Both entrees also came with apple sauce, which was an interesting and surprisingly good pairing. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and inviting, and the service was great. The portions were generous, and most of the dishes we tried were delicious. The beef stew was the highlight of the meal. The meat was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. Eating it with the apple sauce created a nice balance and kept the dish from feeling too heavy. The rabbit was also very tender, it looked similar to a chicken thigh and drumstick, although you can definitely tell the bone structure is different. The apple sauce paired nicely with the rabbit and added a great contrast to the flavor. The shrimp croquettes were tasty, but the cheese flavor was not my favorite. The onion soup was also very different from the traditional versions we're used to. It had a strong, unusual flavor that felt a little harsh and even gave a slight burning sensation in the throat, so it wasn't my favorite dish.

We'd planned to have dinner here but did not make a booking and really lucked out with the last table open when we came in. Please, ensure you make a booking if you want to dine here. I had no idea how consistently full they'd be and felt grateful the entire time to have snagged a spot. When I tell you my fish stew has to be one of the top 5 things I've ever eaten in life, I am not kidding. It was so spectacular. I had no idea what to order and asked for a recommendation and this was it. This soup blew my mind, spoonful after spoonful it was the yummiest, most delish, comfort meal I've had in a long time. We had a very and tasty experience. Highly recommend.

Amazing bar down in a wine cellar with the best beers…read more From the street you would never know how awesome this bar is - nestled under a building you are down in a cellar that has an awesome vibe. The beers here are amazing with over 20+ on tap there is something for everyone - and some must try Trappist beers. I absolutely loved this spot. Only reason for not having 5 stars? The service. Although the place was relatively crowded, it was not very crazy at all especially when we first came in after opening and the staff behind the bar were kind of rude. I asked for a flight and they seemed annoyed they had to make one instead of just pouring 1 beer, and i was reading the menu and didn't have all my numbers ready to fire off - more upset. Additionally, my wife and I sat down at the bar about 1 hour after the place opened and we both had glass all over our chairs and now in our bottoms. The bartender was annoyed when my wife asked him to clean it - he said some glass thing exploded there before opening... so you didn't clean it? And then were annoyed customers had glass in their pants? make that make sense.

I also tried to order nachos and the bartender pointed me to small bags of chips from a display on the bar (I think they were Doritos--not what I expected). I decided to skip the snack. The second beer, Rochefort 6, was excellent, so the visit ended in a high note.
