    Beef with spinach noodles

I really enjoyed my meal here! Tried the biang biang noodles and the spinach noodles with beef. Both sets of noodles were chewy but tender. The meat was well seasoned, cooked all the way through, but still tender. The sauce was quite light and consisted of lots of vinegar which complemented the warmer spices well. The dishes felt light for rather large portions. Overall tasty and hearty meal! There was a decent wait given the small seating area but I felt like it was worth it!

Excellent food and service. The location we went to is fairly small so go early. I had the vegetarian raviolis which were fried and delicious. Then i had the cold noodles (i am vegetarian) which were also amazing. My friends had their hot pots with bangbang noodles which they both loved.

Had the Biang Biang Noodles with Pork, Egg, and Tomato, Fantastique! My wife had Pork Fried Rice, also amazing. Seated quickly but there was a line when we left. Reasonable and the food came quick. I recommend.

The food at La Taverne de Zhao lives up to the hype. The beef noodles were delicious. The noodles perfectly chewy and the beef very very tender. The dumplings were also good, but nothing super extraordinary. The restaurant itself is quite small and crowded, so it's place to just have a quick meal and leave, but the servers were still helpful and didn't overtly rush diners too much.

Nevertheless, they rearranged all their existing customers in order to accomodate us! Grateful to them as well as the other diners. We were blown away by the food! Everything was very flavorful and authetnic (not like US takeout). We had a plethora of dishes included dumplings, fried tofu, eggplant, string beans, sauteed beef, fried chicken, and noodles (apologies I don't have the exact dish names as I didn't do the ordering). It was all sooo good! We also had little cakes for dessert. We ordered 3 and the owner was so kind to throw in a 4th as we couldn't settle on the flavors (matcha, mango, coconut, and espresso). I don't think they make them in-house but they're delicious nonetheless. With good food and good service, I'll definitely be back!

Wasnt expecting much with all the tourists along blvd clichy(moulin rouge) but little did i know that this was an amazing area for food if you can distract yourself from all the sex shops. Area is described to be safe, random hobos walking around and loud drunk kids. But def felt safer here than in new orleans bourbon street. The location for this fine hand pulled noodle establishment is among crepe and italian restaurants. Walked in, was greeted and instructed to a menu. They are known for their hand pulled noodles- either soup style or fried. My first visit i tried fried and they were very delicious, even as a take out option. The food is also clean and not oily! My mouth did not feel like it was slathered with WD40( as it usually does from a typical Chinese restaurant) after the meal. Ate every morsel, no random fat chunky blobs of meat or uncooked dense noodle parts. I came back and had the noodle soup- beef and it was also spectacular. Perfect portions, good atmosphere, clean, clean and helpful staff. Will be back to slurp up some more noodles one day!
