The chimichangas were delicious and I ordered a homemade spicy sauce The steak fajitas were also great and topped with a mojito-ordered without sugar

I was always unsure of trying this restaurant, but went for it and liked it. Its a nice place for lunch as its very casual (not as pretty as other Mexican restaurants). The service: Incredibly fast! the food came in super quickly and the staff were very frineldy The food: Excellent! I tried the shrimp in mojo de ajo (garlic) and they were delicious. It seems as though the food is from a different region of Mexico than I am used to as no refried beans were provided, but this actually made it good! Their soup was absolutely delicious! I may be biased as I am a soup lover.

Stand alone buildings. Kitchen decor. A small bar and booths for all. Chips come quick service is above and beyond. Fast and friendly. Food was plentiful. Presentation was basic but the food was good.

I was very excited for some fish tacos. Now the tacos weren't bad, they could use a little more flavor and I wasn't a huge fan of the cheese they used. The tomatoes were regular tomatoes and the yellow rice was also okay. I think with a little more seasoning the tacos and rice would have been better. The salsa on the other hand was SPOT on. I love me a good chips and salsa moment. I do want to give this place another try because the inside was very cute and the staff was nice too. I took my food to go and the park I decided to eat at was about a 8minute drive. Again I do want to try this place again because most people decided to eat in so maybe that played a factor into the flavor profile since the cheese melted significantly by the time I started to eat.

Great service & very cute decor. Asked if they could make some veggie tacos and even though they weren't on the menu, it was absolutely no problem! Avocado was super fresh and tasty. My fiance enjoyed a modelo and some street tacos and said they were amazing. We will definitely come back here!

Food was so good!!! prices were fair and not too expensive. our food came out, literally so insanely fast and our server was super sweet. defiantly recommend

Always a good time! The food is delicious and comes out so quickly. Service was kind and on top of it! The booths are comfy and we love the fun atmosphere on a Friday evening.

    BLAND CHICKEN SOUP

Food is not flavorful. Just because they have so many different options does not mean it is good. I'll start with the chips and salsa, how can you go wrong? The salsa was just red sauce, lacking salt and spices to make it an authentic Mexican salsa. You get better flavor from a jar at the super market. I ordered a chicken soup, it was so tasteless and its crazy because of how much stuff was it. It had every vegetable you can imagine, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, peas, potatoes, chicken, rice AND no flavor!!!! I asked if it was made fresh daily and the server said yes. To me it tasted like they made it a week ago and just kept on throwing water and vegetables as the days went by. My last items, and this one was ok, Birria tacos. They were ok because they had some flavor, the consomé however was so so so watered down. This is supposed to be thick and rich in flavor but tasted more like beef ramen soup from the packet. The service didn't make it any better, they checked on me by saying "everything good" I was confused because it wasn't a question and I SPEAK SPANISH! COME ON MAN! I told my server that I didn't like the soup and she just said "ok" walked away and came back with check, she took the soup off but if she would have asked me why, I would have told her and I wouldn't be writing this review. I have to say this is not authentic at all, just because it's decorated with Mexican decor and they play Mexican music, it does not make this an "Authentic Mexican Restaurant." It may be ok for locals who don't know own any better but not for anyone who has eaten some real Mexican food.

This is a quality Mexican establishment with a stronger focus of tequila and authentic cuisine. Excellent option for this area.

Love La Tolteca! It's the Mexican fix I'd been looking for-- the table side guacamole is probably the best I've ever had!

This new location is spacious, clean, and has great food. I got the quarter chicken platter with white meat, brussel sprouts, and yucca fries. Each platter comes with sides and each side looks so good you'll definitely have a hard time deciding. I also got some green sauce and white sauce too. The chicken was super flavorful, moist, and fell right off the bone. It was sooo good! The brussels had a surprising kick to them and were nice and tender. The yucca fries took an extra few minutes to come out since they were frying them up fresh for us and it was worth the wait! They have several locations but the food doesn't taste like a chain, if you know what I mean. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone craving some delicious Peruvian style chicken.

Oh and I also got plantains (which they initially forgot but thankfully I checked the bag before I left.) Bf liked his bowl. He's been here a couple of times before and always enjoys. This was my first time and might have to head on back to chipotle lol. Which sucks because I wanted authentic Hispanic food. The flavors were somewhat there. The plantain wasn't ripe!!! How does one fry unripe plantain :-( :-( :-( I might, key word MIGHT, try again.
