Did not disappoint! I've been wanting to try birria tacos, we saw this place and decided to try it . Service was fast and served with a smile ! ( you order online or on the kiosk ) , they also had cold ice water with fresh orange slices that was so refreshing! First time here and I noticed they were under new owners. Seems like a quick take away restaurant where you can either order on the kiosk or at the window. I ordered the steak tacos and OMG, the steak was some of the most flavorful steak I've had and the sauces on top weren't too spicy, and gave it just the perfect amount of spice. If you're sensitive to spice I would just order it on the side! I also had the passion fruit juice which was so refreshing and the fried ice cream was to die for. Definitely needs to be split! The owner was taking orders and greeting guest, giving it a nice welcoming feel to it. The bathrooms were cute and super clean which is always a plus. Owner said they'll be opening the dining room for dine in soon before the summer time and I'm super excited to see how the service goes. Definitely a 10/10 read more

This place is BUSSIN! I've been here 3 times and each time the food is very tasty. Their steak is seasoned well, so are all their meats. It's cooked perfectly each time and they are quick with their orders. I would even go as far as to say this place is better than some sit-down restaurants in the area. They are a bit on the high side, price wise, but that is probably the only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars from me. But it's definitely worth a try! read more

Four stars ... but that is definitely a Baltimore Latin restaurant four. In many other cities this would be a three star review. First and foremost, kudos to Tacos Way for educating people that there is a difference between traditional Mexican tacos and American tacos. Here they offer both, which I think is smart! They also offer many traditional items: tacos Al Pastor, horchata, and tres leches cake. I ordered three traditional Mexican Carne Asadas tacos and they met my expectations: good corn tortillas, onions & cilantro, salsa with a wedge of lime on the side. The carne asada itself, though, was a little dry. I also ordered a side of homemade chips and salsa, mainly to sample the spicy salsa. These were both average at best. The salsa was decent, if a little watery and far from spicy. I would describe Tacos Way as a nice fast food taco restaurant. The ambiance is better than a typical fast food place. But they are clearly aiming for either pickup business or people who just want a quick bite. Having said all of that, I will probably be back to try some other menu items and to support a restaurant is working to bring a take on real Mexican food to the area. We really like the food here. Wouldn't like to eat in, the lobby is cold and uncomfortable, but we do takeout everywhere so it doesn't impact my take on it. If you're an introvert, that's fine. Really conflicted about this place. We were going out to eat. The facility is clearly not welcoming for people looking to eat. There is a bare room with computers along one wall, and some tiny tables on the other. No human beings to welcome you. Indeed, apart from someone silently sliding our food across a counter, we had no interactions with humans at all. In addition, the A/C was turned up and the place was freezing. (Another customer came in while we were ordering, looked around, turned, and left...) Second problem was the ordering. The touch screen menus were not clear, and we ended up making two separate orders to get all the things that we had missed on the initial use of the computer. We ordered three things: a taco salad, quesadilla, and piña colada. The taco salad was poor, with stale shell, wilted lettuce, and tasteless ground beef. First off, the good: the birria tacos are solid and delicious. The consomme is very salty and given to you in a small container, treat it as a dipping sauce, not a sipping soup. For $14 for 3, this is a solid birria deal. I ordered at the counter so I could make sure they did not make my birria into quesobirria which is the default here. The mid: the horchata tasted like from a mix, but it wasn't a bad mix. The not-so-good: the carne asada tacos were seasoned to death and back. Cumin lovers, these are for you. I've never before experienced carne asada "the Mexican way" that tasted so much like Texmex taco seasonings. The carne asada corn tortilla tacos were topped with multiple salsas in the box, making the corn tortillas rip apart when you went to heft them. The service was friendly and quick and you could order from a touch screen if you rather not talk to a person. You can also just sit down and eat your takeaway order at one of the pretty talavera tables, but there is no option for not receiving everything packaged to-go. If I came back, I would probably just get the birria tacos sin queso. They aren't the best birria in Baltimore, or even in Baltimore County, but they are solid. read more

What was a very clean place was soulless with a few tables against a wall with chairs that were too low to effectively eat so you felt like a kid sitting at an adult table. The 3 Burria tacos were good but were served in a box and were already so wet and soggy that you could not hold them because they just collapsed under their own weight. Of course, you got no napkins, nor a fork to help with that and had to go up to the counter and ask. There was a good take out business (shocker because it was lonely to stay there) but if mine was soggy right from the counter, anything else must be absolute mush by the time you get it home.
