I was fortunate to find Kamran/La Tour Builders in the middle of a major remodel late last year, when considering opening-up my living room wall to enhance the view from my deck and allow for inside-outside living/entertaining. I posted a few months back about replacing an atrium style ugly window in our master bathroom. A lot of people said contractors won't touch it or leaks appear. We found an amazing contractor who made a totally custom frameless window. I know a lot of LN homes have this style window, and I can't recommend Kamron at La Tour Builders enough!!! Just used La Tour builders to install new windows on a new build in Santa Barbara. I was very impressed with Kamran and his team. From my initial contact Kamran communicated well answering all questions. His crew was on time every day, professional, and cared about the quality of their work. The install was challenging with 12' tall sliders, multi-door window configurations and extremely heavy fixed glass in excess of 800 lb. His foreman, Jonathan, was very detail oriented and made sure everything was perfect which it was. First off, I like to give credit where it is due. The contractors taste in design, work on the house and crew are great. We had a recent job to change some wood to tile and his workers have left all the tiles, wood and cement in our recycle bin. The workers were suppose to take all of that with them and now its too heavy to move and we cant do anything. As for our original construction, he still has a few unfinished projects. He had not completed the artificial grass yet hes been saying he's going to send someone over for 8 months now! Not to mention the work on the half done grass is not really put on well, its bumpy. We got LA Tour Builders with a simple referral from Nextdoor. We were extremely pleased when Kamran (who is the owner and project manager) met with us since he was well versed with the improvements we wanted and even made suggestions on how to achieve the look that we wanted within the budget we had. His team was was fast, efficient and reliable. The job entailed, re-painting the entire interior, covering up a fireplace, knocking down part of a wall, re-flooring the entire second floor, installing lights and changing stairs and he finished it all in less than 45days!! Even with a few additional requests on the side (change kitchen fixtures, added cabinet work). We loved the fact that Kamran would send us pictures of the progress in the mornings and that he was on point with our requests. He also went over and above the call of duty since we added some last minute touches and they were able to deliver too. This project was also reasonably priced and for the quality of work, definitely value for your money.
