The ambience at this cute restaurant was festive and fun, with a cool Mexican vibe. We had fajitas, which were perfectly prepared and served with deli tips fresh tortillas. Also had two street tacos, amply filled with tender carne asada. Beers were icy cold and chips thin and house made. Our server was friendly, prompt and efficient. We walked into Tijuana for the day and wanted an authentic lunch. A guy working here spoke great English, so in a moment of not being able to decide where to eat, English seemed like a healpful tie-breaker. We ordered the charola taco tray to share between 3 adults and 2 kids, and it was a very generous size and we were all full. The chicken was the best chicken we've ever had anywhere!! A few years ago we ate across the street at El Patio Tijuanense, and we loved how they made the guacamole in front of you and the plate of food came out sizzling hot - neither of which happened here, so it felt like less of a unique experience. I also didn't appreciate that the waiter said, "I'll get some guac for you guys!" as if he was doing us a generous favor, but then it showed up on our bill as $7. read more

Stopped by this restaurant on a Sunday to get some lunch. I loved that you weren't pressured to eat there and that it had a chill vibe. I was here years ago and had a so-so experience, my wife's family wanted to go here so I got dragged along. We were met by a very nice waiter and got a table outside. My wife ordered carna asada and the family all ordered fish. I ordered the steak fajitas. I was really shocked on how much meat was on this plate, almost enough for two people. I did have to ask for flour tortillas 4 times before receiving them. The fajita taste was a little strange but not in a bad way, just not in a fajita way. The cuts were more like s stringy subway steak. I would give it a 5 out of 10 for taste and quality. Bathrooms- wow this place has great bathrooms! I was very surprised. Ive been to places close by that have shitty bathrooms -pun intended. It was very clean and made me feel a whole lot better about the cleanliness of the establishment. Atmosphere - I would give it a 10 if you like people watching and mariachis playing in the background. It was very fun! Price was not bad at all for 5 people it was around $70 dollars. read more

I love this place! The food & drinks are amazing. And great service (from Pako!) He recommended the molcajete, and we got one with seafood & one with steak & lots of other stuff (I don't remember exactly what all was in it, but it was delicious.) Great price on really great tequila. We only get down to Tijuana once a year (if we're lucky), and this is the only place we'll go for lunch here now. We've tried a few other places, and none are nearly as good. It's the best & I hope to be back soon! read more

This was our second trip to Tijuana & this place has THE BEST tacos & salsa of any other we have tried. I had the spicy shrimp taco. It comes grilled with a slice of avocado on a corn tortilla & is awesome. My husband had the shrimp tacos that are not spicy because he is too gringo for caliente! He also had tortilla soup & said it was the best he has had. The salsa has a good amount of kick to it. I LOVED it, but gringo husband couldn't eat it. If you eat outside, you get the full experience of an occasional mariachi band as well as live entertainment a few stores away. This, was possibly my husband's favorite part of the day. read more

Marinated steak, chicken, chorizo, fresh queso, and shrimp; served with refried beans and flavored rice, pico de gallo and guacamole. The meal was served with 6 handmade corn tortillas. We ordered the serving size to feed 3 but could have easily fed 4. We used apps to translate from spanish to english along with help from a bilingual passer by. Three men offered to sing but we declined-this time. We ate our meal outside in the open air and the waitress brought extra napkins and lime to enhance the flavors of the tacos. Total price was $33 USD...I converted from peso to dollars before the meal to ensure we would pay for the meal and tip-same as we would in the US. I dreaming about going back. read more

No no no! Tourist trap. They upsell you right under your nose. We purchased 1 tostada of ceviche each. Waiter said "for 1 person?" I said yeah. He brought what looked like a group order, insisting it feeds one person. Confusing. Then he brought chips, salsa, offered guacamole, we said sure. Same with queso & chorizo, offering it like he did the chips and salsa. Bill comes out to $100 USD. Charged us for all them extras he offered like they were free. Then billed us for some bigger plates that supposedly "feed one," rather than the one tostada of ceviche we each requested. Straight robbery. We tried to argue it, but he was like, "you said yeah. What can I do?" Wow fool, you got us. You hella knew, and you got us. Left no tip. read more

HORRIBLE !! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE They have waiters outside trying to get clients , so we decided to give it a try. We basically all ate at different times ( which usually we should be served around the same time so we can all eat together , purpose of a family meal). My aunt got her plate first, a basic torta . 15 minutes after she got her plate I received mine which was almost 30 minutes from when we got there which was a basic egg and ham plate with 2 pancakes . Once my aunt was half way into her meal she realized it was more lettuce on half of the torta. She asked the waiter if he can request more meat. The waiter took it back and they said they would make her a new one . Keep in mind we were still waiting for 1 last plate almost over 30 minutes . A basic machaca plate with beans (extra paid) on the side . After 10 minutes the waiter came back to tell us they had no more bread for the torta. They offered her a burrito instead. It was just ridiculous that we just gave up and asked for the receipt. The waiter brought us the check and IT WAS WRONG. They were charging us food we did not even order. We told him and he had it fixed. Waisted time and money on a really bad restaurant. The food was not great at all . It was bland. To top it off my orange juice was warm . I had to ask for ice on the side. Very horrible experience . I will not return nor will I recommend this place to anyone . read more

The food was good and drinks, service was good, our server was cleaning and checking up on us, the only thing I disliked is he tried to rip us off or I guess tip himself by adding 50 pesos more to our tab for no reason and also for our friend that was with us. My friend confronted the server and said the tabs were front and we were both over charged. We added everything in front of him and he said oh yeah my mistake. Really on 2 checks?
