One of the best places we ate in Barcelona. After trying and failing to get into the hyped up El Glop, we walked a few streets over and stumbled upon La Trini. I can't speak for the other menu items, but I'd suggest to stick to their Spanish / Catalan choices. We went with the set Sunday menu for 15 EUR - such a great value with lots of interesting options. We tried the egglant soup, salmon truffle honey toast, and shrimp paella. The paella really hit the spot - crunchy outside with perfectly al dente rice. Washed it all down with their house sangria (!!!) and enjoyed watching the Catalan families around us do their thing. Service here was exceptional for Spanish standards. The waiters stored our suitcases and checked up on us several times. You can tell they have passion for the place, and it made the experience all the more enjoyable.

Burger so good we all had to have it!

This place has a wonderful vibe. It feels pretty local but that's gonna be the feeling anywhere in the gracia barrio. It has something for everyone. If you're in the mood for tapas and drinks this is your place. If you want something a little more filling, they've got you covered there too! Great wine selection and the patatas bravas is a must! They serve the bravas up three different was and all of them are delicious. Also the burger (I think it's the burger "con todo" but I'm not entirely sure) is bomb! It has an egg peaking through the bun! Bottom line if you are looking for a cool place to eat in gracia come here. It's also very close to the Verdi movie theatre if you want to grab a bite before the movie. Game day? They'll have the barça game on too if you are looking for a less rowdy crowd than a pub.

The ambiance with Dalí overlooking :)

Hi! I have been around this area many many times and I found La Trini today (not sure how long they've been there lol). Ambiance is beautiful and gives a very sort of art/marketplace/bar feeling which is quite unique. We got a table for 2, on a Saturday night, easily and with no queue (big plus). The waiter recommended the crispy chicken with secret sauce and the calamari andalusian style for starters so we decided to take those. The menu is rather extensive so there's something for everyone! Both were really good and soft in the mouth, mild taste! Then for main, my friend ordered the burger with foie and I ordered the tempura with foie and egg. Her burger was alright, very nice taste but slightly bit overcooked, good portion and nice fries; my tempura was something else completely: DELICIOUS!! The egg and the foie fit really nicely into the dish and really beautiful presentation, perfectly cooked!! If I have to say something "negative" of this dish it's that the portion is rather big - slightly less tempura veg would make the dish perfectly balanced!! Price was really okay and the staff were friendly and kind so I definitely recommend coming here!! One more comment: I wish they had bigger bottles of water... Cheers!

Went to La Trini for dinner on Friday night and I cannot fault our experience! Being a Friday night we expected service and the food to be slower than on a weeknight but I could not be any more wrong! The waiter was really helpful- gave us a rundown (in English which was greatly appreciated) of how the ordering works, recommended how many dishes we should have (there was two of us and we have five dishes) and helped us with any questions we had. We were especially hungry so didn't mind how quickly the food came out, but it was quick! And we were thoroughly impressed. We didn't feel rushed at all and were encouraged to sit and enjoy our drinks long after we had finished our meal. It was our first time at La Trini and we will definitely be back!

    Yum

Some dishes looked ok, the ones I ordered weren't that good. But price is more than ok for lunch.

This was recommended by friends awhile back, I remembered the modern ambiance, amazing Tapas, friendly service and the place was as busy then until now. For this big restaurant caliber, it's pretty crowded yet they do a good job with a fast turnaround. We did the early Dinner and by the time we got out there was already a long line for late Diners. The fact that even after a decade, it's rare that I go back to the same spot let alone they're still around after all these years. You already know that tells a lot and I feel bad for those who didn't have the same great experience, hope they give it another shot. See y'all soon! Salut, Vermouth!

For an early dinner by Spanish time, we started with the croquettes. Crip and wonderful. Then the tenderloin which was taste as well, though we should have a sales what is on the top. It seemed like mostly a flavored fat. The tomato with toast was lovely. Soaked with natural tomato juice. The skewered prawns were the best. Get them. And we ended with coconut pudding. It was like a flan with a coconut base. All together fun and delicious!

Today they had one small table on the sidewalk and the rest indoor including limited bar seating. This is a spot clearly for locals as evidenced by the sheer number of people speaking Catalán around me. It's fabulous in every way- service, ambiance, food and what will be most surprising for Americans, price. For less than $20 I had tuna tartar (more like a guacamole with fresh tuna), beef short ribs, wine, coffee, water and the perfectly small sized piece of cake (tarta de Santiago) from the menu of the day Everything was amazing, and while I wasn't able to do so myself, many people left with leftovers. Come, enjoy and just be grateful that places like this still exist in the world!

That was probably a good idea because after we were seated a majority of the tables did fill up. Lunch included bread, a drink of choice, appetizer, entree, and dessert for 18.90 euros. A good place for lunch or a drink if you are in the L'Eixample neighborhood!

Love coming to this spot whenever I'm in Spain and by the Sagrada Família. I've come twice now,…read moreonce in 2023 and once in 2025 and both times were a hit. Their tapas are super yummy and I love that they have a display case that shows you a good variety of what you can get. I always recommend the abondigas (there a dark green color from the spinach, but really yummy I promise). I also love the grilled octopus (pulpo) and the seafood paella, which takes a while to cook so order it in advance. The drinks and coffee are always a hit, but I love that it's so close (within walking distance) from the Sagrada Família, so I always make an effort to come here after visiting the landmark. Service has always been great. I have usually been served by the Dark Haired Bartender (ask him about his sister in Utah if you visit). Everyone speaks English and is pretty friendly. It's a smaller spot on one side with bar seating and some tables inside and outside, but they have a more restaurant style sit down place that's a couple stores down so you can have the best of both worlds. I usually opt for the bar seating to people watch and chat with the bartenders.
