This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The whole thing was terrible the service, salsa, tacos! I'm sorry but taco are pretty hard to mess up. I chose 3 different types, the meat was dry and tasteless. Throw some chicken and tough steak on your grill with no seasoning and throw it in a shell and that's what their tacos are like. The salsa appeared to be canned stewed tomatoes with some onion chunks thrown in. My 9.00$ margarita was virgin I'm pretty sure. I ate 3 bites of my food and sent it back there was no apology nor did the server ask me if I'd like something else. I've been in the restaurant business for 30yrs so I know bad food and certainly bad service and this was some of the worst! read more

Good service but the food is not all that authentic! Waiters were really nice and the food came out on time! I ordered the pollo supremo. The chicken was like rubber even though it was hot and the sauce was not enough. The Spanish rice that came with the food was decent. The salsa was straight up tomato purée. Parking is a little rough, since it's downtown, but very good food...find a parking spot somewhere!! Really good northern mexican cuisine. The service is always quick and the staff are really helpful. Price to proportion is fantastic, they also do not skimp on the liquer for their drinks. I do recommend asking on their different drink sizes as the large margarita comes in basically a fishbowl. Great mojitos as well! read more

Hostesses dont seem very excited to have you come, but once you get past that, it's a delightful evening. Was met at the door by friendly staff. They were very helpful with suggestions and had me get a delicious burrito with chicken, beef, and shrimp in a white sauce. I felt the prices were fair and although I liked the salsa, I like spice and had them bring out a spicy salsa that was great. read more

The tacos came wrapped in aluminum foil, & wasn't what I orderEd, but no server to be found. All the sauces on the table were from a bottle, nothing was made in house. Waited over an hour to be seated and then they gave our table/reservation to some other party. When we finally seated drink delivery were screw-up and all non-alcoholic drinks had all ice and very little drink. Food orders were mistaken and not all good came at once. We have eaten here MANY times, but NEVER again. The food is good, when I lifted my Coke to take a drink, there was a cockroach staring back at me from under the glass top table. Yes, a big roach, with nothing but a 1/4 inch piece of glass separating us. Maybe it was a harmless wood roach, but I have my doubts. Either way, sorry La Troje, NASTY! read more

It was a horrible dinner! I would not have fed this to my dog. I thought I was in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares and expected Gordon to come out. Went down to Warsaw to see Howie Mandel, so not familiar with the area. Looked for something that was not a chain and the reviews seemed good. Should have left in the first couple of minutes, but my daughter thought it would be rude. While we waited for our dinner, three flies buzzed around us and landed on our sodas. When our fajitas came out, I looked at my bland light brown steak and my first thought was not pleasant. My daughter could read my face and said, "wait until you taste the rice". It was so bland. The whole dinner was bland. No taste whatsoever. I ate only one fajita. My daughter was afraid to eat the meat and shrimp. She only ate the veggies. I went up to the cashier to ask for my check. I told her that the food was disgusting and that there were flies buzzing around us. She said nothing, did not get a manager, did not say sorry you were unhappy, just said your bill is 36 and some change. Apparently people in Warsaw Indiana have no taste. Stay away! The only thing that saved the night was seeing Howie Mandel! Would never ever go again to this restaurant! read more

We were searching for a restaurant in warsaw to accommodate a large group (18-20) for a birthday party on a Saturday evening.This restaurant was chosen and a call was made for a reservation.The person that answered our call informed us that they typically do not do reservations, but they would accommodate us.They agreed to put our party in an upstairs room @6pm.When we arrived they acted like it was a surprise we were there and NOONE knew of an accommodation.we were all seated at a mix of round,square,& finally (after complaining for 15 min.) they added a rectangle table that extended into the walkway.It was very awkward to say the least.Management attitude was very arrogant and we all felt unwanted.It took aprox.20-30 minutes to even have our drink order taken.We had 1 young server that clearly was nervous.Im sure he did the best to his ability.We discussed walking out of this place,and to be honest,we questioned that management would even care.We decided to wait it out in hopes things would get better.Nope!During our long wait time,we did have time to appreciate the décor,the condition of the restaurant,staff standing around,and oh,did I mention a birthday party of at least 12-15 in a semi-private room next to us?It did take another aprox.20 minutes to get our food order taken.The food was decent,but not worth the time or money spent.Will never recommend this place to anyone!But wait,Im sure they wont care! read more
