I asked if there was some type of combo meal, and he simply said, "No." I looked up the menu on Yelp, showed him a photo, and discovered there actually was a sampler that I was able to order. He rang up our order without speaking to us at all and then went to the back to cook the food. When he returned, I asked for sauce. He replied, "Yes," and pointed to the bag. That was the only other time he spoke to us. The entire interaction was bizarre. His demeanor was sullen, and he showed no basic courtesy or customer service. To make matters worse, one of the empanadas was almost empty, which was very disappointing. The food itself was very good, but not nearly good enough to make up for the lack of communication, poor customer service, and the uncomfortable, awkward atmosphere we both experienced throughout our visit.

It was pretty good. Definitely not healthy by any means. I had it stuffed with shredded beef. The empanada I had with cheese and black beans. It was pretty good as well. The food was pretty good overall. The wait time was probably about 12 minutes. They do have a covered patio with blaring Latino music. A bit much for me to eat there.

There are a few tables and some cheap paintings and bric-a-brac hanging on the walls. Even my salt and pepper shaker were mismatched. But to me, this made me anticipate my dinner more. The process here is you place an order at the counter and when it is ready, they bring you your food. There was a bit of a language barrier, but the young lady taking my order was friendly and it was not really an issue. The menu was quite diverse and offered a nice selection of fillings for their pupusas. I opted to go with a mixed pupusa, a chorizo and cheese pupusa and a jalapeño and cheese pupusa. Then I noticed that they had tacos and impulsively ordered an asada taco. I chose a seat and before long, they brought me my feast and I have to say that it looked impressive. After my first bite, I decided not only did it look impressive, but it tasted even better than it looked. If you find yourself in Nashville, Tennessee, I would definitely recommend a visit here.
