Great Venezuelan food truck parked outside the Nashville Farmer's Market. Almost all their food is marked gluten free since it's made with corn flour! I wanted a pork rice bowl but they were sold out for the day. Instead I got a beef rice bowl, beef and cheese empanda and a cachapa. I'd recommend skipping the rice bowls since the beef was a little on the dry side. The beef and cheese empanada was good though! Came out piping hot and fresh! The cachapa was interesting! It was basically a big corn pancake filled with cheese and folded in half! First time having this dish and it was pretty good! Overall I'd recommend this spot if you're near the Bicentennial Park and Farmer's Market area! Next time I want to try the arepas!

My mother and I found this hidden gem while walking around the Nashville Farmer's Market yesterday and would 100% recommend!! Not only were the owners and employees super friendly, the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a chorizo and cheese empanada and would recommend. She got the bean arepa and said she loved it. Be sure to try their cilantro sauce with whatever you order as it's incredible! Also, we really appreciated how they had many gluten-free options to choose from at a very affordable price! We'll definitely be back. Try Caracasville if you have the chance! You won't be disappointed :))

This food truck is awesome and selfishly I feel like they need a second location here in Mount Juliet! I went with a shredded beef arepa, and four empanadas; plain cheese, black bean, pork and a chicken aempanada. The arepa was delish and loaded with beef, cheese, and black beans. This was a Latin comfort food flavor explosion. My only very small complaint was the amount of grease that was on this sandwich. Maybe it was from the cheese? Ok, all of the empanadas were amazing, literally not a bad one in the bunch. Crunchy, huge and fully loaded with meat or cheeses. My favorite, surprisingly was the black bean and cheese empanada. After shopping at the Farmers' Market or strolling through Bicentennial Park, hit up Caracasville food truck for some delicious Venezuela eats!

Ordered the beef arepa at the night market . It's basically like a sandwich and came with shredded beef, black beans, sweet plantains and cheese. My husband loooooved it. It was a little to heavy and greasy for me. We also ordered a mango juice which was tasty. I would definitely try other items.

One plantain and cheese and one chicken empanada, half eaten (meaning they were twice as big originally).

The empanadas were amazing! They were much bigger than I thought they would be, so even better value for the cost. They're about the length of your hand and half as wide. I got two and couldn't finish them. Of the two I would recommend the plantain and cheese empanada option more. Delicious blend that was not overly sweet. The other one I got was their chicken empanada. They have a chicken and cheese as an option, which might have a more interesting taste/combination flavor (and the cashier did ask if I was sure I didn't want that one instead). That being said, it's nice to have a plain option for the more picky eaters out there (myself included). Quick and friendly service. This is something I would travel to have again or intentionally work into a visit to the city, which is my definition of a five rating.

All the yes to this food truck. I'm sadden at the fact that I just recently went to the Nashville farmers market for the first time. I'm missing out on all the good eats. I stumbled upon this place on my way out. I was so excited. I love arepas esp silly when they're filled. I will say I was saddened by the price. Expensive. The mango juice was on point. Very refreshing. The arepa itself was so flavorful. The cilantro and garlic sauce are amazing. Can't wait to come back by. Didn't take a pic of my food. Too good.

Located at the farmers market, Caracasvilles' food was amazing. First off, the portions were huge and arepa packed with ingredients. While the arepa was greasy, it was filled with beans, chorizo, plantains and cheese. Definitely get the cilantro sauce to pair with. The beef empanadas are definitely heavier but were still delicious. Overall, food was tasty and flavorful.

This delightful food truck at the Farmer's market is fantastic and I highly recommend that you stop in to sample some of their authentic South American food! They make arepas and empanadas to order, so be prepared for a 15 minute wait if they are busy, but it is well worth it! I sampled the shredded chicken, chorizo, and pork areapas. The shredded chicken came with a ton of avocado and was a little bit milder in flavor. The chorizo was greasy but was probably my favorite. It came with plantains which I thought might be too sweet, but added a nice texture and additional flavor that offset the spiciness. The pork was also great; you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu! They also have 3 different kinds of sauces to go on top and the orange one was so spicy and amazing. It was definitely my favorite! I also liked the green herb one, but the white sauce was a little bland. The staff is really friendly and I was super pleased with my meal. Caracasville is the real deal!

Caracasville is a food truck specializing in South American food and is typically located at the Nashville Farmer's Market. I eat here whenever I get a chance and find their arepas to be some of the best comfort food in all of Nashville. My favorite arepa is the veggie version, which includes black beans, avocado, and fried plantains. They also have three excellent sauce options, so be sure to request sauces on the side with your order. The arepas have a lot of filling (bring napkins!). For dining, there are tables near the truck in the outdoor portion of the farmer's market.

I've never been to the Night Market at the Nashville Farmer's Market before, and it was a great time! After doing my usual walk through I decided that I wanted to try something new. I decided on Caracasville because of their unique menu choices and the food looked amazing! I ended up getting a bottle of water and a pork arepa for around $9. The beef arepa had a pink mayo based sauce and tomato. The food truck had three additional sauces to use on anything, and I think the white garlic sauce was the best. The wait ended up being a little longer than usual for a food truck, but the menu specifies that the wait is 10-15 mins. The beef was so juicy and the outer bun was AMAZING! This was a great portion for a meal, and I want to try their chicken salad one with avocado next time.

    Chicha and pork arepa

I ordered the chicha and pork arepa. The chicha was just okay. It's a drink made with boiled rice, condensed milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I felt like it was too thick to drink, and I'm not sure if there's anything they could have done to thin it out, but that would have made it much better! The flavor was there though! The pork in the arepa was great....bursting with flavor. I also really like the grilled dough they used for it. It is messy though because the juices from the pork and red sauce they put on it drip everywhere, so, make sure you grab plenty of napkins!
