Both were delicious but the patacon stole the show! Thank goodness I read previous reviews that said that it was large because it was humongous! Twice the size of any we had had previously. There was a Mexican option an a Venezuelan option. I obviously chose the second one. I ordered an arepa and an empanada. The arepa is basically a deep fried sandwich with a meat and cheese on it. It was pretty good. Definitely not healthy by any means. I had it stuffed with shredded beef. The empanada I had with cheese and black beans. It was pretty good as well. The food was pretty good overall. The wait time was probably about 12 minutes. They do have a covered patio with blaring Latino music. A bit much for me to eat there.

They are located on exit 60 of I-24 (Old Hickory Blvd I believe) on the Shell gas station. Parking can be a little tricky on the busy hours as they also have a Mexican restaurant next door but it's definitely worth it. The lady was very nice and attentive. There were a few orders before ours but the food was made fairly fast and it was fresh. They accept cash and credit/debit card payments. If it isn't, the food absorbs grease and becomes disgusting. Clearly, these knuckleheads don't know what they're doing in the kitchen. When we tried to return them, the team leader told us, "That's how they eat them in Venezuela," which was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. He had a bad attitude toward both my wife and me. This happened on 01/15/2026. Instead of being polite and trying to fix the problem, he was rude and dismissive. Be proud of your food and your service -- don't serve something like that. Very disappointing experience.
