Did not seem very motivated, and the main staff person I assume to be office manager was wearing black sweat pants and a black hooded top. After massive paper work, I had to wait for the Doctor, which I could hear in one of the rooms. The longer I waited the more I felt as if I was not going to get the best care for my symptoms. I felt more like it was a room rented in a third world country, some strip mall just to go through the motions and perhaps get paid by insurance/lawyers. Even though previously on the phone they said they had massage, it was not from a massage therapist, but by one of the clerks who the staff said they train. After I got very weary the longer I was there, and confirmed it was lacking my needs, in the caliber and high standards I would expect a medical facility to provide, I left.

I was wanting the Keryflex treatment for a broken toe nail that never grew back. I called about 3 weeks to a month ago. The person who answered the phone repeated said she would call me back to schedule an appointment and never did. I was the one who had to keep calling to try to get service. She said that I had to see the doctor which I was willing to do, but after further discussion she said that she could schedule an apt and if the technician saw it and deemed it ok to do the treatment they would, if not I would be turned away. FINE. I have been to doctors and I know I do not have any problems, so I was fine with this being that I am sure I do not have issues, but I was also willing to go see their doctor. I a runner and a hiker, so that the cause. I have nothing, no fungus, no discoloration, no nothing, it is just super short. I kept calling and finally got an apt with the technician, I asked for the address but was driving and she said she would text me, never did, said I would get a text confirmation, never did. I had to call again and finally she did text the address the day before treatment (actually while I was typing yesterday's review). Mind you, all this happen more than just once. Today, the day of, I get a call from the technician that they cannot perform the procedure. I live about 40 minutes away and was about to leave. Who knows about the spa side of this, but the office side is ridiculous. NO common sense, no knowledge of procedures, and no customer service. The person who answers the phones is a complete idiot. I had been looking forward to the service. Why in the world would I have NOT seen the doctor if I had to? Why would she have scheduled an appointment for me if I had NOT seen the doctor and knew I had to in order to receive the treatment? Unfortunately these idiots are the only people in SA who do this. My recommendation, don't go to these people for anything. There are a lot of podiatrist in SA that are professional and have a knowledgeable office staff. To be clear, the customer service was so bad, I will never know how the "actual service" really is. I wouldn't bother. Funny how I was weary about it to begin with. Also when you call, it sounds like a cell phone, I even wondered if it was a real doctors office. Go somewhere else, don't even chance it.

When we, as patients are there, we are in pain, at a new environment, and vulnerable. He never communicated anything to me, what was happening, what would be happening... The Cat scan room (I didn't know I was having one, only heard X ray from prior staff) was absolutely freezing! I could not stop shivering and laid down on the cold table. I told him I had a bad back and asked for a pillow under my knees. He reluctantly walked over to get one. Then as I expressed I was shivering, he tells me to control it, that it would ruin the procedure. HOW DO YOU CONTROL your Shivering? Finally after awhile, he walked over and gave me a cover, not a blanket. It was better than nothing. I tried to relax on my own but it was difficult. I was wearing a Tshirt and long pants. After he disappeared, I had NO communication what , when, was happening or going to happen. The machine just made different noises and now and then it would move me. Only because I just had an MRI, I figured it would be awhile but had no way to communicated that I knew of or was told to me. Toward the end of what seemed forever, a different man came and said he was replacing the first one. I heard him later say something to the nurse about taking over and I assumed the first man was at the end of his shift when he got me? THANK GOD he hopefully went home! The second, replacement, communicated, was professional, and kind. That was all I asked, communication at a place I never had been to, a procedure I was not familiar with... do not think that is much to ask. Long story short, I would return but would refuse service from the first man if I ever saw him again.
