However, with the director Melissa, her assistant Monique and Shirley as the caregiver, we could have not been more impressed. All three were there on the first day to ensure a smooth and professional first meeting with us and our mother. Shirley was truly an angel and her passion for her job as a caregiver was phenomenal. There were days when Shirley would be assisted by Monique in our mom's bathing to ensure safety and a dignified bathing experience. Shirley immediately took to cleaning and doing laundry which allowed us more time with our mother. This service was recommended with two others to us by the Home Health social worker and charge nurse. We are so happy we picked this crew of very special people who do a job that requires compassion, patience and a big heart.

I urge you to carefully consider this before contracting with any hospice provider. Unfortunately, our experience with Faith & Hope made an already painful situation even harder. In April 2025, my mom suffered a massive stroke. She was placed under Continuous Care (CC), which meant she required critical, around-the-clock nursing support. We were told her case would be re-evaluated after three days. However, the care was stopped in less than 24 hours and we were given only 4 hours' notice that services would be discontinued. At that point, it was clear our needs no longer aligned with Faith & Hope's philosophy of care. We scrambled to hire private help on extremely short notice. That night, my mom was in significant pain & experienced agitation. She needed her medication adjusted and an increase of the dosage frequency to help manage her symptoms. The next day, we made final attempts to Faith & Hope to reassess mom's eligibility for CC, even though the on-call night nurse, when we asked, did acknowledge that we were free to seek another hospice provider. We waited all day for a response from Faith & Hope, but heard nothing. Faced with another evening without adequate care, we transferred my mom to a different hospice. They gave us the right care without hesitation. Sadly, our mom passed away only 4 days later. The only positive experience we had with Faith & Hope was with Nurse Theresa. She cared for my mom with compassion, dedication and a true commitment to patient advocacy. Theresa's thoughtfulness and support helped guide my brothers and me through an incredibly challenging time, and for that we are deeply grateful.

It feels really good to visit a place where the staff has been there for so long and truly care for their residents (in some cases more than 20 and 30 years!). Overall, I really enjoyed visiting the property, talking to the staff and one of the residents (Vivian). They gave me cookies on my way out and they were delicious!
