The patients brothers flew out to get their sister back home so they could manage her care closer to them. We needed to transfer the patient from Los Angeles all the way to Falmouth Massachusetts by plane and this was no easy task for the condition the patient was in, but they helped make it happen and for that we are truly grateful. Anytime you have loved one in any facility you have to commit to doing your part. This was a trying time and The Administration team was there to make the difficult transfer happen. The family member is now at another facility near her brothers in her home State Massachusetts safe and sound. My mother has been at this facility for almost 2 years. They constantly lose her belongings and…read moreclothes we brought for her to wear to physical therapy. I brought so many hangers for her little closet and they keep getting stolen. They lost my mothers eyes glasses for a week and finally they turned up since i went down there and raised hell. Now her cell phone is currently missing and a CNA named Brianna gave her a shower and let her listen to music from her phone. But failed to give it back to her. If it doesnt show up soon im going to assume she stole it. This place is not great and they have very poor communication with family members. I leave messages and nobody ever returns my calls. One of their agents were supposed to be looking into other facilities that would care for my mom to transfer to and that person never called me back and i cant get ahold of them. DO NOT choose this place for your loved ones. Its more of a headache than anything and personal belongings get stolen. My mother has also had a rash for over 2 months now in their care and they aren't doing anything about it. Just RECENTLY my mother said they were finally getting her to a dermatologist soon. Not sure what it is but i dont even hug her when i visit. The owners have changed over to "Catalina Care Center" now. They are barely switching the business name over. I need to find a way to file a complaint with the owners.

Los Palos (now "White Point..." leaves much to be desired when it comes to accountability…read more I've resided there since August 2025 (when it was named, "Los Palos... with the goals of improving my breathing and acquired lung issues developed at Catered Manor Post-Acute Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bixby Knolls area of North Long Beach, CA) AND selecting an appropriate orthopedic surgeon to perform my now needed knee replacement surgery which became necessary as a result of inappropriate "physical therapy" while at Catered Manor in Long Beach last year, 2025) On or around late April-May of this year, I personally observed a long-time resident of White Point with numerous contusions on her face and head which made me wonder why she appeared as though someone had beaten her head. I found my impressions shocking, especially since her sister had been providing excellent family attention to this patient's/resident's personal needs. (It should be noted that much of my younger years were spent in university-based hospital and clinics Administration (8 months; 1976 to 1984), so I can grasp terminology and procedures in facilities of these types.) Several days later, I was told nonchalantly by another staff (Certified Nurse Assistant, CNA, that this resident had died! I was shocked at how this CNA was not disturbed by any of the facts. I sincerely hope that her family also legally pursued WHY the resident died. I've been kept out of of White Point and shuffled through a horrifically oftentimes incompetent system of convalescent homes and small, community-based, (after a one- day stay at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in San Pedro) stay, May 15-16 for serious edema and labored breathing issues) hospitals since May 17, 2025. I now just want to get my personal possessions OUT of White Point with a strong desire never to return again. My rating of this facility now, on June 4, 2025, is two- to three stars, and no more.

Watching someone you love go through a difficult time can be heartbreaking, and as her grandchild, it has meant so much to our family to know that she is in such caring hands. Jade has been incredibly patient, energetic and hyper focused encouraging with my grandma to do the sessions all the time , especially on the days when she felt tired, frustrated, or unsure of herself. She never made her feel rushed or discouraged. Instead, she continued to motivate her, celebrate her little victories, and remind her that she was making progress--even when she couldn't see it herself. What touched me the most was the genuine compassion she showed her. My grandma had so many therapists and she doesn't like them all because of coming late and being unprofessional. However, when Jade took over the sessions she made my grandma participate in all activities, listen and follow all the instructions / exercises very well. Now, She's more happier, stronger and well motivated. She treated my grandma with dignity, respect, and warmth, and it was clear that she truly cared about her--not just as a patient, but as a person. Seeing her become stronger and more confident has been so meaningful to our family. We know that her progress is not only because of her own determination, but also because she had therapist who believed in her and encouraged her every step of the way. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Jade Yeo for everything you have done for my grandma. Your kindness, patience, and dedication have made such a difference in her life and in ours. With only 6 hours till mom was coming home, Cari told me all the supplies needed, where to go get them including the bedding that hospice failed to tell me we needed! She was invaluable to me and because of her we had caregivers for mom at the last minute!!!! Mom came home to soft bedding so she could be comfortable and she was so happy!!!! The supplies that were included with hospice arrived after mom passed so I donated them to Moms Home Care and finally got to meet Cari in person and give her so many hugs!!! Thank you again Cari!!!

Sometimes the cleaning staff does unwittingly throw away esoteric, specialty food given by friends & relatives to my resident relative since the staff is not sure of its shelf lIfe, but the complaint by my relative's earlier claims of missing personal items possibly by staff members now seem to be unsubstantiated. Overall, Spring presently is a desirable assisted living home. The residents are from middle class backgrounds so there is an air of civility and dignity. The facilities are clean with a comfortable "living room" for residents to gather for directed activities & occasional entertainment. My past review and others' reviews were not as complimentary, but under Linda Hiles and the amenable staff, I feel Spring would be good to look into for an assisted living situation. She is widowed, elderly and with chronic illness so keeping her hopes up can be a challenging itself, I appreciate the staff for their attentive services.
