I've been going to this salon for a while now and I'm always impressed with the service. They have a lot to offer and it's always a relaxing experience. Everything is well maintained and clean. They have a wide variety of polish to pick from and any mani/pedi I've had lasts a long time. I even had an instance where I had a wedding I was a bridesmaid in and I broke my nail the day we were flying out while packing the car. My pedicurist was vert unfriendly. I thought "maybe she is having a bad day or is experiencing a crisis in her life", so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. But when she talked with her fellow employees she laughed and smiled speaking a foreign language. I tried to be nice but never once did she engage or even look me in the the eye. Additionally, the chemical smell in the place was overwhelming. I left with a headache and had to take some very deep breaths upon walking out. The pedicure was OK. I frequent this nail salon and love the skilled nail technicians. They are attentive and detail oriented toward my nails. With helpful hours as well! They are open Sundays! The salon is super clean and bright and there are plenty of massage chairs. They also do waxing but I haven't yet tried this service so cannot report - but they have a great following of fans. I recommend that you call ahead and book an appointment. They get very busy! They leave me feeling amaze after visits - with not only nails but included in a mani pedi is a little exfoliation and massage of your lower legs! read more

Pros *It's in a convenient location if you live, work or visit Crozet. *They got me in without an appointment. *Polish selection is decent. *They did not try to upsell anything. *They used a liner in the foot tub. *They did a good job with the cuticles and toenail trimming. Cons *The polish I chose was thick an slow drying. Instead of thinning it a bit she put it on anyhow and it took a really long time to dry. *They talk to each other in (I am assuming because I recognized some words) Vietnamese. They were saying something about a white woman, do not know if it was me or not but that is rude regardless. It's not relaxing to listen to them gossip while doing my pedicure *Most salons I have been to do a better job at removing rough skin an callouses from my feet. *Most pedis I've gotten include a brief foot massage. Theirs was almost nonexistent. I gave three stars because of the thick slow drying polish, the callouses left and because of the constant chattering amongst themselves. If these things were corrected or if they had consulted me, talked to me at all (instead of each other) about anything they were doing I would have given them at least 4 stars. read more

Terrible customer service. Went on early Monday afternoon with an appointment for two pedis. When I arrived there were a few employees sitting around. When I told them I had an appointment they said it would still be another 20 minutes. No big deal I wasn't in a rush, until 50 minutes passed by. The same employees are still sitting there not working on anyone. They do not try to acknowledge us or give any type of an update for the long wait. Finally just had to walk out and leave. read more

Terrible customer service. I had an appt and when I showed up I was told it would be 15-30 minute wait. When I came back I was told "we are still working" and it would be another 30 minutes. Very clean and bright nail salon with soothing music playing. About 6-ishpedicure and nail stations. Comfy pedicure chairs with all manner of manual adjustments. Staff friendly and accommodating albeit the English could be a bit better. I did have to wait a bit with my feet soaking before the pedicure started as my person was finishing a manicure. Pedicure was basic, and the price was fair. They asked several times if everything was ok. Very happy with the shape and polishing of my nails. Would definitely return. read more

WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE EVER. I made an appointment a week prior for gel mani. I showed up on time. I was asked to sign in and pick my color and wait. My wait was 35 minutes!!! 20 minutes in, the owner said they would be with me soon. No explanation. No apology. I went right back to the chair with the tech. This is where it got really nightmarish. My tech asked me to relax my fingers when she was taking off the gel. I have very bad arthritis. This is a challenge for me. The second time she asked I told her I was doing my best. She decided to ridicule me in her native language with the other four nail techs there. How do I know? I understand her native l I took the ridicule for the 20 minutes more of my service. I could not wait to leave this toxic place with such rude and mean employees who made fun of me for a comment I made. Thinking I couldn't understand. I did everything right. Made appointment. Showed up on time. To be made to wait and insulted to boot. Never again. Not one more dime of mine, I am taking my business elsewhere. YELP forced me to give at least one star. If I could give zero stars I would. You should treat people better. read more

I'm ecstatic that Crozet's first nail salon is such a hit. Even though I live in Charlottesville, I won't get my nails done anywhere else. Mia did my pedicure on my first visit. Even though I only asked for the basic, I was in the chair for close to an hour (great message!). I asked for these big sparkles as a my topcoat and even though they were difficult to apply, Mia stuck them on with a pick by hand. I was very impressed with the attention to detail, and my pedi looked great well over a month later! Next, Cindy (the owner with 18 years experience) did my acrylic fill-in. I'd gotten my nails done 2.5 weeks prior at a shop in town. Two of the nails had broken off and a couple more were chipped. Cindy was INCREDIBLY thorough in fixing the damage and making sure I had the exact shape and length I wanted. It was easily the best acrylic work I'd ever seen, and my nails lasted well into the 2.5 week mark with no breaks or chips! This shop is brand new, but please consider giving them your business! I've been to this nail salon many times and 99% of the time have been totally pleased with the service and--most importantly--the results. My nails always look great and the manicures last a long time (which is especially important for me as I am, unfortunately, not one of those women who can make time every week to get a new mani-pedi... more like once every few months if I'm lucky to get away from babe + job/can't stand looking like a hobo any more). The 1% time I splurged on a gel manicure that started peeling after only a few days but I was traveling for work for another two weeks? I was BUMMED. And I felt certain that since so much time had passed between when I got the manicure and when I'd be able to come back in and get it fixed that I'd be out of luck and with janky fingers to boot. But I called Cindy and she said "come in when you can and we'll take care of it". Three weeks later, fresh new polish, no bummers. I am THRILLED!! Bottom line- this place is pretty darn great. Pre-pandemic, I had decent experiences at this nail salon. Recently I took my young daughter for a treat before school started. She had never gotten her nails done at a salon before. The woman that did her nails did a great job. Mine were just okay--pedicure was good, but manicure was rushed. I'm not sure why it was rushed since as soon as he was done he sat down and put ear buds in to each a video on his phone. I found the salon very dirty. There is dust everywhere and personal clutter on all surfaces. It was not a relaxing environment like I remembered before Covid. The man that did my nails wore gloves for the pedicure but took them off for the manicure. Two minutes in he cut himself but DID NOT STOP to wash his hands or put gloves on! $60 later my daughter and I both have a nail fungus. I am not sure what has happened to this salon, but it was certainly not the first nail salon experience I was hoping for my daughter. We'll be doing our nails at home after we're done treating the fungus! They need to clean up a bit and revise their hygiene protocols. read more

This business used to be so, so good...so it's sad that it's gone downhill. Asked for a basic pedi and the tech kept pressing me to upgrade and then proceeded to give me the worst pedi ever. My nails were cut crookedly and some were cut to the quick. The callus smoother was basically waived over my heels. A very worn towel was briefly waived over my lower legs when in the past, each leg would be wrapped in a hot towel. The polish failed after three days. Such bad service, and the place wasn't even busy! Better to drive over the mountain to Waynesboro or go back into town. I visited the salon last weekend. The owner was present when I checked in for a mani/pedi service. I was seated at a pedicure station and my services began. In the meantime, the owner retreated to one of the back rooms and the rest of the employees, aside from the woman doing my pedicure, literally took off their shoes and put there feet up in the chairs doing whatever on their phones. A very unprofessional sight. Then, when it was time for my manicure, another woman sat me down, put my hands in water that was cold and I'm not sure even clean. The owner left on her merry way. The rest of the employees sat there, with their feet in chairs, talking around and above me. Not two words to me. I don't get treatments often, but when I do treat myself I expect courtesy and professionalism. And quiet. read more

I got talked into a more expensive pedicure when I was really clear that I just wanted a standard one. One foot has tiny cuts around my nails. My other foot has a pretty big cut on the side of my big toe. After being cut the lotions and scrubs really burned and I was happy to have it all rinsed off. I try to go to this salon somewhat regularly but this week there was a new person doing nails (or at least someone I hadn't seen before). Since I am not a total regular, even though some of the "regular" service providers were not busy (they were reading or looking at their phones) -- I drew the new one. I was so disgusted it was hard not to get up and leave. He had bleeding sores on his finger tips and a mole with hair growing out on the side of his face. I'm writing this review as a wearer of acrylic nails. I'm sure this salon does a great job with manicures and pedicures, but they do a horrible job with acrylics. I got a full set and within a few days most of them had already popped off. Save your $30 and get your full set somewhere else. Come to the salon to get your toes prettied up for summer. read more

Myself and two of my friends went to the salon about two weeks ago to get gel manicures. The salon was clean and everyone was friendly however, when we left we all three had, what felt like, hundreds of tiny cuts all over our hands. The next day my hands were sore and indeed had little tiny cuts all over my nails - specifically beside of my nails. Although the polish has lasted very nicely and everyone was super friendly, I'll never go back here. I shouldn't leave a nail salon with cuts all over my hands. read more

This is a very convenient location right by the Harris Teeter. The store is clean. I have been three times, but will not return. The tools aren't cleaned between customers. Got a pedi here. They have many options for types of pedicures, most of which involve using fresh fruit as part of the treatment! Price is average, and the pedicure was amazing. The tech was very meticulous and really took his time. Clean place, though they do have a friendly and calm Boston Terrier roaming around inside, which I personally thought was awesome.
