We came here with the recommendation of East West Gem Co; they have an office upstairs. We needed my wedding rings made fairly quickly, and East West Gem Co has a strict timeline. I wouldn't have gotten my rings before the wedding. My (now) husband also wanted to see if La Vita Vital would be able to design my dream ring with the stone I chose from East West Gem Co. We were led downstairs to meet with Chilly and go over what we needed. We told him our timeline and what we were looking for in the ring. Showed him some pictures online of how we wanted the ring to be but with a different style and shaped stone. He told us he could make it happen, and wow, did he make it happen! We were leaving for a 2 week vacation a few days after our initial meeting. He made sure we came back to review the CAD drawings and try on a wax mold before we left, so that everything else could be completed while we were gone. My rings were ready just a few days after we got back, and I could not be more happy with how they turned out! Chilly gave us the best experience! I don't think we'll go elsewhere for any other jewelry needs. Not only did we love coming in, but we had a great time chatting each visit. This is a long overdue review. Over the last four years, Auston has made me a custom ring, earrings, and just recently a tennis bracelet. In between he has done repairs and re-settings on old jewelry for me. I always do my homework before bringing a new project to La Vita Vital and every single time, I bring in tons of notes and questions and I feel like my requests may sometimes be too much with minute details but they have always been patient and understood what I wanted and delivered pieces exactly to the specs I requested. Wow! My husband and I came in to get a diamond stone to be set inside an existing ring to upgrade my engagement ring from 4 years ago. At the time we were married my husband and I couldn't afford a real diamond so I got another ring with a different gem inside. We met with "Chilly" and he really helped us out, he asked our budget and worked within it and also gave us an amazing deal on top of it. He managed to find a beautiful lab created diamond that would fit beautifully into my existing ring. I am so happy and love my new ring. I came in to get my wife's ring cleaned for our upcoming anniversary and they got me in with a competitive quote the day of and had people ready to work on it on a walk-in basis. The workmanship is fantastic - Got the engagement and wedding rings cleaned, polished, and redipped in a single day and they brought back shine that we hadn't seen in years. Great work! That said, many shops can do similar.. What most other businesses don't/can't do is what I experienced with this family shop and is something that I haven't seen in a long time from large corporations or other family run shops - they cared about my satisfaction more than anything else. Austin, Chilly, and Al who I didn't even meet followed up with me after everything was done. From the moment I stepped into their facility, it was like they brought me into their family. They addressed what I came for, but on top of that explained the business to me and gave me a tour.. incredible stuff they're doing! What made me realize their business is different was I originally came in mid afternoon and they mentioned the pickup time to come back by 5 which was reasonable and I agreed to it given I was a walk-in. I came back a bit early because my wife needed to be somewhere and I wanted to close the transaction as soon as it could. Had I come in at the regular time the rings would've been ready but since I was already there, they tried to expedite things even though they're a busy shop. When came time to checkout, Austin made sure I was happy with the results and even wanted to ensure I was happy with the overall experience by making accommodations I wasn't even asking for. Great experience with La Vita and Auston designing a custom engagement ring and wedding band. They had the best custom process as everything is done in house. And we got a tour of the office/facility as well. Also, Auston was with us through every step of the process, texting us pictures of the CAD design. Other jewelers we met with outsource the design process. So being able to have direct contact with the designer made it very personal. Their price was also very competitive with other jewelers. And the appraisal they provide confirmed it even more. The office meet and greet was great as well. Everyone was friendly, and every time we came in, we were offered bottled water. Sometimes even Boxed Water. Only thing was the process was a bit slow at times as we didn't hear for a week or so (sometimes). But they still met our wedding deadline in a timely manner. What set them apart is size of facility and number of diamond setter on site they have. They were also very flexible when we wanted to stop by last minute.
