Don't ever purchase a floor model as the promised warranty will not apply. I found this after my sectional that I paid a premium price for started having issues with the welting curling. I had an excellent experience with our La-Z-Boy sales associate Christina Robbins. She was helpful in the store and then helpful again when I like the seat cushion that we got. She sent us a whole new chair. I had to pay the price difference, but it was well worth it. I do wish that the head rest and armrests were available right away. I still don't have those. read more

While my buying experience was top notch, the product I purchased has been nothing but a hassle. I bought a rocking recliner and since the day I've received it, I've had nothing but issues. It creaks and squeaks like it's a Halloween decoration. I've had one service appointment already but am waiting on them to come back with parts to fix my chair. Hoping they can fix it, otherwise I spent 1K on a Goodwill donation. They are no longer the quality they used to be. read more

No hovering - he answered questions and printed off a few price options. I left without purchasing and he invited me back when I was ready to make a decision. I would easily shop here again. Was told 4-8 weeks on a recliner. Now that has turned into 11-12 weeks. Sales staff is friendly though.

Couldn't decide if we wanted the middle section (with cup holders) or without in a loveseat. Also was concerned with getting damaged parts fixed in the future with certain colors. They assured us this color is one of the colors they will always have and also said we could go ahead and purchase it without the middle part and add it later (since they assemble them all in the warehouse, they can be taken apart and middle added, no problem) We purchased a loveseat and chair, way more than we wanted to spend. Go back in to get the middle section added because we decided we wanted it and we get "no, we still them with or without, you can't just add it later. Also, we no longer sell that color". When we went over what we were told, they just said, "well that person is tenored, you must have misunderstood" I've purchased from Lay-Z-Boy multiple times- but never will again. They tell you want you want to hear to get the sale and then "oh you misunderstood" after the fact. read more

It's not so much La-z-boy but one of their employees. I have been to all 3 stores in the last week. Today's visit to the Dublin store was way more than I expected. Had low expectations after going to the other 2. Entered the store and noticed they were pretty busy. Went about my search for a recliner. Zeroed in on several chairs and was just sitting in the two for extended periods. A salesperson was helping several other people but made eye contact that she knew I was here and she was working to take care of me. She finally got away to check on me. Her name is Lindsay. She came over and was super welcoming. She got a couple of details of what I was looking for and was on it. Checking for stock and what materials, sample swatches of the different colors. I explained that I had a broken recliner also and she gave me the option to having it repaired which might be quicker as the supply chain is way backed up. Deciding what to do now BUT I definitely wanted to take the time to point out someone that actually cared about HER customer. Customer service is lost in world today. Lindsay is a shining example of how everyone should be treated as a customer. Thanks Lindsay, you're the Best!!! read more

Spent almost $2K on a chair and an ottoman. Delivered 5 months later and the stitching on the chair cushion was unraveled upon delivery. Delivery people said, "Not our problem, we just deliver." Went to the store on Tuttle where we bought it and they said, "Not our problem, we just sell the stuff." 11 months later and we still have no resolution. Customer Care 800# does not answer their phone. La-Z-Boy furniture is over-priced junk. read more

They are all too happy selling you their most expensive lift chair, however, when it comes to servicing said chair (you WILL need to service it as it is actually a piece of garbage), they will NOT answer the phone, they will charge you almost 200 dollars for the fee, and you will be waiting for no call from anyone all day long. That is if they even honor your appointment. read more

First I'll get to the point. We've been shopping for several months and gone to Havertys, Bassett, another La-Z-Boy store and 3 or 4 other stores in the area and a couple outside the Columbus area, but if I'm ever in the market for one of their products, I'll make the trip back to the Dublin store and ask for Jeff. I had lots of questions and he not only took the time to answer all of them he made suggestions we'd never given thoughts to. He never tried to upsell us which I was glad of. I felt like we were working with an honest furniture professional and not just a salesman. His product knowledge was excellent and informative. My wife and I use canes and he made every effort to minimize us having to move around too much, even bringing pillows, etc over to where we were sitting and turning furniture upside down so we could see how things were made. We purchased 2 recliners and 2 table lamps and he even took time to explain to us the advantages of the new LCD bulbs. He spent so much time trying to help us I was beginning to feel a little guilty. So if you're looking for a La-Z-Boy product and you live in the Columbus metro area, my suggestion is you try the store on Britton Parkway and ask for Jeff. He's that good. read more

Virginia was dope. She introduced me to the chair of my dreams; I guess they had nicknamed in 'marshmallow'. It's exactly what you think reading this. I'm sitting in it now typing this, and I'm thinking of more good things to say because I feel I'm sinking into a plush yet sturdy and well built cloud. Before I went in I didn't know what the difference between value city and La-Z-Boy was, but I did after sitting in one. She also gave a good education on why la-z-boys are legit compared to cheap guys. Anyway, good chair, great customer service and delivery was flawless too. 10/10 all around read more

They had quite a variety of price points, sizes, looks and custom features available. If they didn't have in stock, they would custom the order. Chrissy was friendly and didn't pressure my Mom into any particular chair. She listed to what we were looking for. Answered questions and helped my Mom find the right chair for her. She would check out different available options and price them out for Mom to help her in her decision making. Payment and delivery went very smoothly. Store has great selection of items they are extremely close and tight formations. We were looking for a specific type of furniture and well the sales people were all standing around talking. When someone came over after a few minutes they pointed out the three choices and walked away. When we had another question the sales associate was back with the rest of the group with back turned. We decided to go elsewhere mainly due to the sales people. Clearly assumed we would not buy-we did from different store spent approximately the same amount we would have at La-Z-Boy. read more

I orded 2 chairs and a couch from this company. It took 8 weeks for it to arrive. The chair lasted all of 6 days before it broke. I then called for a repair, which I had to wait an additional 3 weeks to have anyone come out. The repairman said he had to order the parts. This created another period of waiting which was supposed to be 10 days, however it took 16. Finally the part arrived and so I had to call the company back to schedule another date for service, which was an additional 2 week wait. I would never recommend this brand to anyone. The quality is terrible and the customer service is severely lacking. read more

My soon to be son in law and myself had gone to La-z-boy to look at recliners on Feb.13 2020 after one I had ordered from another store had yet not been delivered since ordered from Dec. 6 2019. After looking around for a little bit associate Lindsey S. approached us and showed us a few in our price range. Left us alone to look around some more. Upon returning she brought back a price quote and a color picture of the recliner we were interested in. No pressure what so ever. So that night decided to cancell the other chair and I returned the next day (Feb. 14) and bought the chair. Chair was in stock and able to pick up myself on Saturday the 15th. Not only was it in stock and I paid probably an extra $300 for it with an extended warranty it was worth it. My wife and myself still have La-z-boy recliners we purchased 21 years ago and still in great shape. So thanks again to Lindsey and her associate who helped me out (I apologize I forget her name) and La-z-boy furniture. Definitely will keep them in mind for my next purchase. read more

The staff was very attentive and listened to what I wanted rather than pushing a product on me. Doug started out helping us but then thought that Shannon might be better able to help since we just moved into a new home and need a lot of different items. Shannon set up a meeting to do a home design which was wonderful! We then met her at the store to go over her ideas and she was very willing to not only show us what she thought but also changed it up to suit what we had in mind. We ended up buying all of our furniture at La-Z-Boy and even went back two more times the next week to add to our order. All in all it was a great experience and I would recommend and have recommended this store to everyone I talk to about our new furniture. Lastly I really appreciated that the next week after we purchased our furniture the store had a different sale and Doug was willing to go over everything we purchased to make sure we got the best deal and were happy with out experience. We shopped all of the furniture stores in the area and not only did we like La-Z-Boy's product the best but the staff was by far the best to work with! Don't even waste your time with the other places, pay the money and get the better product that will last. read more
