The nurse doing patient intake was very knowledgeable and efficient. We had a short wait for the doctor but considering that the appointment was last minute that wasn't an issue for me. Dr. Kipreos was extremely detailed and attentive. He asked detailed questions and made sure that we had all our questions answered. He prescribed a new asthma inhaler and made sure that we understood that even with insurance it would be pricey. He advised us to ask the pharmacy if the Rx would qualify for Good Rx discount. This advice reduced our out of pocket expense from $264 to $152 for the prescription. The pharmacy did not offer that option. I had to ask for it. Kudos to Dr. Kipreos! After meeting with the doctor, we moved to a different area in the building for X-ray and bloodwork. The medical professionals we worked with were awesome. One offered to bring me a wheelchair for my husband and that made moving around the facility so much easier. Around 5:30p we received an email from Dr. Kipreos following up on the labs. All in all this was a good experience.

I've gotten different answers about the double dipping of charges, but no resolution. If I can't trust the medical provider, why would I let them make decisions about my health? I got stuck for the $17 dollar mental health fee also because I used the online pre-visit check-in and answered the questions. Something similar happened the prior year so I was ready to prevent it this year. Still stuck me. Just to follow up....after speaking to the Novant billing department they will make sure the office puts up more signs to notify unsuspecting persons they will double bill you if you answer questions. I've worked with Worker's Compensation for over 30 years and not seen anything quite this dishonest!

Once I got into a room, a nurse came quickly and took information. This is where I expected to wait another half hour or longer but a PA came after a few minutes. He was very kind and thorough with his questions and information he shared. He patiently answered all my questions and called in a Rx for me. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the counter staff made minimal effort to be helpful...or pleasant. In any event, I recommend due to the PA on staff at this location. Hours are M-F 8a-7p; Saturday 8-1 and Sunday from 11-5.

Once someone is symptomatic, there's generally serious reasons to be concerned. YVG was recommended to me by my doctor and I'm so glad I chose to use this clinic. It took several months to get on their schedule for my first appointment and then another couple of months before they had an opening for the procedure. My initial appointment was with the PA who reviewed my medical history and the results of my prior procedure over 10 years ago. The day of my colonoscopy I arrived at the clinic on time and met with the anesthesiologist and nurse who would be there during the procedure. I really liked both of these staff members and felt very safe...and I'm not generally very trusting of western medicine. Prior to the procedure Dr. Kundu came in and introduced himself. He explained how the procedure would go and what I should expect afterwards. My husband was allowed to be in the room with me up to that point, which I appreciated. I genuinely liked Dr Kundu and found him to be very pleasant with great bedside manner. Once the procedure was over and I was awake, my husband was allowed back into the room. Dr. Kundu came back and discussed his findings and made sure all questions and concerns were addressed. I highly recommend this clinic and give them 10 stars.

I had a very mixed experience at Aspen Dental in Mount Airy…read more First, I want to recognize the hygienist. They were the best hygienist I have ever had. They were kind, patient, thorough, and genuinely listened to my concerns. They made every visit much more comfortable, and I truly appreciated the care they provided. Unfortunately, my experience with the dentist was very different. After having fillings done, I continued to have sensitivity and a rough feeling on one of my back teeth for months. I repeatedly brought up my concerns and was told everything looked fine. I even paid to have one of the fillings repaired because I was still having problems. After seeing a different dentist, I found out the roughness was actually caused by a chip in the tooth next to the filling that occurred during the original procedure. I will now have to have both fillings redone to correct the problem. I wish my concerns had been taken seriously instead of being dismissed. I was also disappointed with the front desk experience. The receptionist was not welcoming or particularly kind, which added to an already frustrating situation. I am grateful for the hygienist because they were excellent, but because of the dental treatment and how my concerns were handled, I cannot recommend this office.

My husband spent several days at this facility at the end of his life.. I can't say enough about…read morethe tremendous caring, competency, compassion, responsiveness, and love demonstrated by the staff at this facility for their patients and members of the family. You couldn't ask for a better group of professionals: CNAs, doctors, nurses, and chaplain all focused on ensuring consistency and continuity of care. The facility is equipped with family rooms, kitchen, outdoor seating areas, play areas for children, snacks for families and a cafeteria where families can purchase meals. Each patient room has a sofa bed, recliner, bedside chair, and full bath that family members can utilize. Sheets, towels, pillows and toiletries were provided so I wouldn't have to leave the facility while my husband was a patient there. Although the reason for being here was help my husband transition into heaven, the staff and facility made this extremely difficult time bearable. I will be forever grateful to this hospice home. An absolute 10 out of 10.

It is well staffed compared to other local pharmacies. They seem well stocked and I do not see empty places on their shelves. However, my experience here has been less than desirable. When doses of compounded drugs were questioned, they became uncooperative and seemed like they no longer wanted our orders. I am currently not sure the outcome of this particular visit. The others have been less than promising.
