Horrible!!! Auburn LabCorp is closed even though their website and Google states that it is open. I was able to pick a specific time slot for an appointment from their website and received a confirmation text. I arrived for my appointment- checked in via the text from them- and then received a confirmation text stating that I can wait in my car and they will text me when I can come in. After waiting quite a while- I walked to the front door and noticed a sign that they are "temporarily closed"!!!!! This was a fasting appointment and nothing online states that they are closed and it allowed me to book and confirm my appointment!! Thankfully their driver (Hunter) stopped by and he advised me to drive up to the Grass Valley location. The Grass Valley location was able to get me in right away and they are great! Hunter saved the day!! Very upset that their website and outgoing phone and text messages all state they are open. Had to spend more $$ in gas and drive an extra 50 miles round trip and cancel meetings in order to get this done. I am now hearing that they are understaffed and I can accept that, but to not update any of their phone and online information and still allow you to schedule an appointment even though they are closed - is unacceptable!!!!!! I have NO idea why this lab has such a low score! I imagine it's that issue where people only leave a review when they have a bad experience. I had a wonderful experience going in June of 2025. I needed to have my blood drawn for a peak and trough test, which meant I needed to go twice in the same day - once before I took my medication and then again 4 hours later. The phlebotomist that took care of me, Nita (I think that was her name, I'm awful at remembering names!) was an absolute sweetheart. I went in as a walk-in patient first thing in the morning after attempting to walk-in at the Quest down the road (who told me I needed to make TWO appointments for this kind of test and acted like she'd never heard of it before!!) but Nita knew what I was doing. It wasn't something she'd done at this location before, she said, so figuring out how to put it in to her system took a while (especially since my doctor's paperwork didn't provide her all of the information she needed) but if you never do something and weren't trained it's absolutely understandable! It only took her about 10-15 minutes to figure out, and once she had done it, she took me straight to the back to draw my blood. My veins are NOTORIOUSLY difficult to find, any time I get blood work they always have trouble getting a good vein. She had some trouble too, but she CONSTANTLY apologized for it no matter how much I insisted it was okay and totally understandable, it's something I'm very used to. But as soon as she found a vein she drew the blood and then I headed right out to take my medication and go home. I had to come back 4 hours later and she insisted that if she had to she'd go to lunch late to take care of me if she ended up getting swamped around that time. When I came back, no one else was there so she got me right in. Again she had trouble finding a vein, which was totally fine for me, it took her several minutes and she had to draw from my other arm this time. She again insisted on apologizing over and over because my other arm had ended up a little bruised which was absolutely sweet of her! No matter how many times I told her I was okay she just insisted "but it's my goal to not cause this sort of thing!" She DEFINITELY cares a lot about her job and her work! It's also clear that they are probably very understaffed, she acted as the receptionist when I went in and there was nobody else there so even if there HAD been a wait, there's no reason to be upset at HER for the lab not staffing enough employees. Regardless, my overall experience as a walk-in patient was WONDERFUL, I didn't even need a second appointment unlike what Quest told me when I went to them- not to mention, Quest had NO receptionist, they ONLY had an electronic check-in that scans your ID and insurance, and when you call Quest they DONT EVEN HAVE AN OPTION TO CALL A REAL HUMAN! I just wanted to make SURE they did peak and trough tests, because they don't list them online when you make an appointment. It's a VAST difference in quality and I have no idea why anyone would complain about this location, at least not in the last month or so These guys are great! If you need testing done and can choose where you go, choose this labcorp!! read more

Called ahead to verify location details. No answer. Posted lunch hour on the phone is 11:30-12:30, I arrived at 1pm posted lunch hour in door is 12:30-1:30. Waited until 2 no one ever showed up to open. It's a Tuesday. No holiday or bad weather, just a business that can't be bothered to open when they say will be open. read more

They don't seem to honor appointments. 1st time I was seen 45min. late. 2nd appointment, 30min. late. 3rd appointment, I'm the only customer, yet they're 7 minutes late. Also VERY slow to provide results, sometimes a week later. read more

This place is soooo slow. I've been waiting just to pick up a specimen cup to take to go and have been waiting 25 min. If you have lots of time to waste come here. If you need quick and efficient avoid. read more

I have been here twice. Both times I had a good experience. The staff was friendly and efficient. There was not a wait and I was out the door in under 10 minutes. Doesn't get any better than that! Thanks LabCorp peeps, some of us appreciate you! read more

My experience with this place was just about as bad as it could get. First time I went there the woman working there couldn't find my paperwork or electronic records (another person found them on another day). Net results - I couldn't even get the bloodwork done, and had to come back another day. So i returned another day. This time the person working there DID find my electronic record. What she could NOT find was my vein. She tried first on my right arm and missed. (I still have a bruise from where she tried). She did manage to find one on my left arm - and the second try. Anyway ... I'd highly recommend avoiding this place if at all possible unless you find pleasure in doing return visits and getting jabbed with a needle more times than necessary. read more
