I went to LabCorp this morning at 7:55 a.m. without an appointment and was third in line. The check in was easy and I got my blood work done and was on my way in about 25 minutes. The phlebotomist was very kind and professional. The entire experience was positive. read more

Rude office staff. poor communication and lack of customer service skills. The girl behind the desk seemed to be more engaged with her phone than serving customers. Equipment is often broken or down. I tried calling before my visit with no response. I tried to make an online appointment aand the system was down. This was my third time having a bad experience here. read more

I've been here twice before 9am, checked in as a walk in, and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I noticed a lot of complaints in previous reviews because this location relies heavily on scheduling an appointment beforehand. If you want to come here during work hours, you should absolutely get an appointment and save yourself the hassle of waiting. If you're an early bird like me, showing up early in the morning, especially for fasting blood work, works perfectly! The staff are all perfectly professional and friendly and I have never had a problem with this location. read more

The location is tricky to find if it's your first time. There's no obvious signage driving past it. The waiting room is small so it gets crowded quickly. Definitely a high volume location and they're low on staff so expect a wait even with an appointment. Staff was nice and helpful, understaffing is outside of their control. read more

I live close by to this facility and been there a couple times and I didn't make an appt at first. Waited maybe 30mins. I was told or over heard that I should make an appt so you can bet seen first. I took that advice and made my the appt first thing in the morning! These ladies were nice and quick! Today I was in and out less than 15mins! read more

This is the worst Labcorp location near Baltimore city which stinks because I'm sure a lot of people need it. To start with, they are the slowest. I've gone to two other labcorps in the area and usually I'm in and out within about 15 minutes without an appointment. That never seems to be cause for this location. This isn't the worst to wait a little longer particularly since it's closet to my house and target and shopping etc. The customer service makes it the worse. For a long time, there was one guy who despite how slow things were was really nice, really professional which made it ok to come to this location. My experience today was that they didn't manage the people waiting. They had a sign saying 4 in the waiting room and then the machine check in process. The problem is the waiting room was full, people checked in at the machine and waited outside, and others, some with appointments some not who didn't check in just walked in got seen and you had people, myself and others, waiting nearly an hour for lab work. Then when I asked about the wait, had I been missed and how long the wait would be the front desk person who was also doing lab work was rude, barely acknowledging you or your question and then difficult when you're trying to understand how long the wait would be. After waiting 45 minutes and everybody that arrived after me going in and some others she says there's still 3 people in front of me. I asked how, she says they had appointments. I explained to her how long I've been waiting and she says it doesn't matter they have appointments. Ok fine, here's several ideas: 1) make it someone's job, to check people in not to check people in and do lab work 2) if you have a wait for walk-ins and you see you have walk-ins, perhaps put up a sign that gives an estimated wait for walk ins so that people know they what kind of wait time they are looking at. 3) don't be rude to people. You have job, someone wants a job and they don't have one. And yes, your job may be frustrating but that has nothing do with people coming in for lab work. The other lab Corp staffs I've dealt with at other locations managed to pull it together. You can too. Ultimately, I left rather than wait. If you can't be competent enough to manage a wait room and compassionate and professional enough to speak, at the very least politely, to a customer waiting for lab work, why in the world would I let you jab my arm, take my blood and expect you to get it right? I made my appointment online to have some lab work done. I checked in again when I arrived at the location---which was dark, dimly lit, and unkempt. It definitely needs a makeover! I waited while the room filled with people---the woman behind the desk didn't do anything that I could see. I was reading some information on my phone when I glanced up to see if there was anything going on when I was asked if I had checked in. I said that I had, and then was asked my name. After I gave it, the woman at the desk was very irritated and said she had called me already, and that I looked at her several times. I have an unusual name, and I am very adept at listening for the name to be butchered. I told her I didn't hear it, and she continued to argue with me about how she called me and I looked at her. She said "Come on", and I touched to door handle and she got nasty and told me that I couldn't go there---I had to stop at the desk first. Since I was already at the desk, I didn't understand what the problem was. I handed her my lab requisition and she proceeded to tell me that I needed to give her a credit card in case my insurance company didn't pay for the whole thing. I know that my insurance is 100% coverage at Lab Corp---and I used to work with health insurance, so I knw that I didn't need to give out a credit card. She had so annoyed me at this point that I refused and told her if it was a problem, I could go elsewhere. She pointed out a card that was tacked up on the glass---I had already read it and decided that I didn't need to provide any more credit information than necessary, so she told me to go ahead. At that moment, another phlebotomist came into the office and said that she would do my draw. This woman was a complete professional, did a wonderful job, and didn't treat me like I was some sort of fool. I will never go back to that office, and I plan to inform my insurance company of the unprofessional behavior that I found. read more

I had an appointment at the Labcorp on Fleet Street in Baltimore for my son. We arrived on time and after checking in We were told by the woman at the front desk to wait, which we did. After we checked in, a young lady arrived and checked in. She was also told to wait. The woman at the front desk then called the young lady back (who checked in after us), laughing and telling her (in Spanish) that she would be taking her back before the El Niño (my son). Clearly she didn't realize that I also speak Spanish. I didn't appreciate the blatant discrimination against my El Niño by the Labcorp employee. read more
