This will be the first NEGATIVE review i have ever felt compelled to write. i do not recommend…read moretrusting this "dr" at all..! He charged me $6200 for a "package" treatment (which i paid for in full in order to save 10%)...A few days later it just so happened i had an accident which caused an injury which would lead me down a completely different path of healing, one that was covered by my insurance... After 8 months of recommended therapy, not only was my injury healed but also the reason i had originally come to Dr Gorla was no longer an issue - an unexpected benefit to the treatment my injury required... i had fully expected to still partake in tx here, to come back to continue what we had just started - but as it turned out the pain that had initially brought me here, no longer existed. When i asked for my money back (minus the cost of equipment i could have bought online for $1500, and $150 for the 3 PEMF treatments i had) - so i only asked for $4550 back, he refused - essentially implying now that the package price equaled the price of equipment..! Since i signed a (fairly vague!) contract, the judge at small claims court ruled that Dr Gorla not be required to reimburse me any $ inspite of the fact it turned out i did not need this therapy. i am writing this to warn others that not only was the PEMF tx useless and completely ineffective, but what kind of doctor needs to keep your thousands of your dollars if you no longer need there treatment..??? Also no one from this office ever called to see how i was doing or to reschedule tx - once they had my money - there was absolutely no follow up from anyone during the 8-9 months i partook in physical therapy elsewhere, as my orthopedic doctor prescribed... Nobody ever checked in with me to see how i was doing with my more extensive injury, nor why i was not coming for tx here. Another thing, i researched the vitamins he sold me seperately ( as i recommend you do too!) and it turns out that company, Apex Energetics, was sued in 2013 bc LEAD was found in their supplements..!!! GOOGLE IT FOR YOURSELF..! The one meeting i had with Dr Gotcha, he criticized my regular doctor and acted all superior without really inquiring about my treatment history; i guess that's what he learned to do at the "Emperor's College"" he went to..! I'm quite sure a reaL doctor would not need to keep your money if you ended up not needing their treatment. Be very careful when you come here, my experience here was discovering what a narcissist and scam artist he is, i'm sorry to say..!

After being taken back, my temperature and blood pressure were checked and I was told they wanted to do flu and COVID tests. The nurse performed both swabs in the same nostril at the same time, and they were done very quickly and did not seem thorough. After that, I was told another staff member would be in shortly, but no one came. I waited alone in the room for about 30 minutes with no updates. When I stepped out to ask how much longer the test would take, the response I received felt dismissive and unprofessional. When someone finally returned, the exam was very brief. A flashlight was shined in my ears, I was asked how much Tylenol I was taking, and I was told to take more and buy Sudafed. No clear diagnosis was given. After spending over an hour there with minimal evaluation, I decided to leave and went to another urgent care in Blowing Rock. At that clinic, I received a thorough evaluation, was diagnosed with a sinus infection, and was prescribed an antibiotic and steroid, which addressed my symptoms. I understand urgent cares can be busy, but the lack of communication, limited exam, and dismissive attitude made this experience very frustrating and concerning. Do not recommend.
