We helped me check in and I was in within 10 minutes, got my test and I was on my way to enjoy the rest of my day! If I could give zero stars. Based on their board, there were only two other appts, all the rest were walk-ins. As I watched all of these walk-ins were being called back. It took 50 min with an appointment! Arrived at 1020am to check-in for the 1030am appointment. Then at 1040am the lady called us back to the. Counter for the Blood Draw Order and Insurance Card. Why wasn't this done at checkin?! Sat in the waiting area watching people that came in after us be called back. Finally at 1050am we were called back. I thought the nightmare was ending but they had more. Sat in the cubicle for another 20 min. Finally just after 1110am we finished. 50 min start to finish! NEVER AGAIN! read more

Easy process to check in - with easy touch screen with the list of options for your visit. Waiting area has plenty of seating for patients, just make sure to not use your cellphone in the waiting area! This Labcorp is very hygienic, which is comforting to know. On the wall, I've seen a sign that read: "The area is DISENFECTED after each guest!' I wish there could be more parking at this Labcorp!! read more

Parking sucks Elevators slow AF! Walked up stairs 4 flights of stairs because the elevator takes forever! Door locked so I had to walk down 4 flights of stairs to wait for the elevator AGAIN!!! Had to check in with the robots. Scan ID DL and Ins cards at kyosk. I Felt like a product at the grocery store. I mentioned how it was robotic and takes away from the human experience. Desk UEI medical assistant said "it helps us" forgetting the Human part in Health care. No smiles! Covered With face shields and masks! Phlebotomist was good and only needed to stick me once. Walking into this place was like walking into a clinic in Tijuana. Nobody speaks English (or speaks it and acts like they don't). Expect to have at least an hour of your day wasted if you come to this location! I walked in for a simple blood draw and I ended up waiting just over an hour. First off, they have you sign in and sit down regardless if you have an appointment or not. I waited 30 mins for them just to call my name to check in. So basically, even if you have an appointment, you're going to sit around and wait 30 mins for them to actually check you in plus the time it'll take them to call you to the back, which in my case, was another 30 mins. After waiting 30 mins to check in, and another 30 mins for them to call me to the back, I was told to sit in an ice cold "room" (cubicle). I'm ALWAYS hot, so for me to be cold, they must have had the temp in the low 60's! I sat in the "room" for another 15 mins before someone came and did my test. Last but not least, I used the restroom on my way out and there were nasty stains all over the sink. I couldn't tell if it was coffee or throw up! Plus they have two paper towel dispensers and they were both empty. read more

This place is super busy and crowded, but the front desk secretary was still super kind and helpful. Then went i got my blood drawn i told the technician i sometimes get nervous and faint, and she told me to look away and talk me through my nerves. It was my best experience getting my blood drawn and I'm really grateful. Please be kind to the people here. Nobody wants to go to a medical facility, nobody wants to get their blood drawn, the least you could do is be grateful the people helping you are kind. read more

I want to give another star because they open so early & they are generally quick about getting you in and out. I appreciate that they seem to be the only location in San Diego that opens before 7am. They do get busy though so if you go in without an appointment you want to make sure you get there right when they open or you may have a bit of a wait. Also they open at 6:30 am but it appears they don't start actually seeing patients until around 6:45 am. All this being said; every experience I have had has been clean and moderately friendly. I wish the reception staff was a bit more chipper, but hey for morning I understand and don't hold it against the less friendly members of the team. Bring a jacket it's cool inside. read more

I understand that covid has put a strain on people. However, I have been bringing my grandmother to this location for 2+ years and the receptionists are not the friendliest. They have a demeaning and rude tone when asking for clarification. Recently made an online appointment and downloaded a QR code which was to be scanned upon arrival, I arrived, signed in and noted I had an appointment. I was looking for a QR code scanner and the woman behind the counter, in less than a friendly tone, told me to sit down and I would be called. I asked about the QR code scannert which the woman said, "Oh you have an appointment". Then she handed me a cup for a urine sample and motioned around the corner. Two restrooms, of which only one was in service. The restroom could be compared with a cheap gas station restroom. Cluttered and no paper towels. The place was very overcrowded. People were waiting outside of the lab. I think I should have been asked if I had an appointment and mostly a more friendly attitude of the employees. read more

My wife went to get her blood drawn today. She came out dizzy. She was going to leave the car at the parking lot and walk home since we live relatively close. The security guard said she could not leave her car in parking lot. She told him that she felt dizzy and he still stated he couldn't leave her car. My wife sat in the car for a bit and then drove away still feeling dizzy. This happened around 0930 on September 6 2018. I understand that there are rules about not leaving your car, but that security guard's duty should have been to go get help/assistance from the lab. I will not let my wife ever go back no matter how convenient it maybe to us and will definitely talk about this experience to my family and friends I would like to give no stars because one star seems too much read more

I had already been waiting at the wrong building unknowingly, til I was told to walk over to the correct one. I took the elevator upstairs only to find myself with 2 rude administrators. Not a single "good morning," "hello," or "what can I help you with ?" Finally I was acknowledged by a woman who looked and sounded like she was having the worse time of her life. All she said was "blood work, sign there." While sliding a clip board over to me. I showed her my work document which stated I needed a different test. In a rude and bothered tone, she let me know that those tests are only done from 11am to 2pm. I find it very ridiculous that this information is not relayed accordingly when calling a facility or looking in their website. I wasted my time only to be attended to by rude staff who clearly shouldn't be in the medical field. As a medical field employee myself, I'm disgusted by the types of people that are now part of the field. Try remembering that the main reason why you should work with patients is because you care and have compassion, and maybe change the nasty attitude while you're at it. read more

I called the day before to ask about pricing I was on hold and then Someone answered, I said "hello hello" sounds like the heard me and hung up. Then I asked the lady why so much can I make payments, nope I had to call billing no one had answers or tried to get any. I hate it there. When to another place less of wait in line, nicer staff and paid $200 less. Majority of the times we come here, we schedule an appointment to avoid the long wait times and we'll be done with the bloodwork probably 10mins after the appointment time. Had a little difficulty finding this building but I'm new to California. Office has safe distancing, everyone wearing masks appropriately, ample hand sanitizer immediately available. Staff is proficiently bilingual while serving many clients. Phlebotomists skills are superb, no pain with stick and no bleeding or bruising even though I take aspirin daily. The reception area was crowded, overstepping the "Maximum 6 People" sign that hung on the door by about 30. Clearly, Covid measures to keep people safe are not being followed. The Mobile check in machines did not work and the registration scanner kiosks also malfunctioned...if I had waited in my car for a text I would have had enough time to binge watch every season of any Netflix drama or read War and Peace twice. The front desk and phlebotomists are entirely overwhelmed by the amount of patients. In my case, the receptionist erroneously handed my paperwork to a random woman in the waiting area, then the Labcorp data base had me listed as the opposite sex, and the phlebotomist had to "modify" that error with some cryptic keyboard strokes with the "provider", who is really just the behind-the-scenes LabCorp "doctor" who reads your questionnaire and grants you permission to take the lab test (for $10). The most disheartening part about this visit pertains to the fact that most of the patients are elderly and belong to a socio-economic bracket that is underserved. Labcorp must know they will not complain. This business (because that's all it is) reflects poorly on the American health system. This racket would not fly in La Jolla. read more
