Standard lab and a very outdated medical/office building in Clinton. No frills at all, but the insight is clean, albeit outdated. I made an appointment in advance and checked in at the kiosk upon arrival. Within five minutes, I was called to the front desk to check in, then called to the back. The phlebotomist found my vein with ease and the entire process took me less than 10 minutes. I will say that the bedside manner was a little dry, but if someone is just taking my blood, I don't expect them to be screaming with joy or smiling from ear to ear the whole time. As long as they don't kill me and don't cause excessive pain and do what they are supposed to do, it's all good. read more

This was my first time at Labcorp. I usually use Quest but this lab order was for my dad whose physician uses Labcorp. The office is seriously dated. The waiting room is tiny and feels super old-fashioned. The bays inside where you get the actual bloodwork are just three areas of one room partitioned by two curtains. It's pretty cramped. In this day and age, it's weird to get your blood drawn in such run-down conditions. Still, I won't dock any stars because the most important thing is quality of care -- and for whatever deficiencies the premises may have (and there are a LOT, including what I have already described, but also a very wheelchair-unfriendly entrance), at least the quality of care is superb. I was honestly having a lot of trouble wheeling my dad inside. Not only did one of the other patients in the waiting room get up to help, but two staffers came out as well. Everyone was so kind. The tiny waiting room was packed. I'm shocked that me and our professional caregiver were able to find seats together along with a space to park my dad in his wheelchair. Check-in was a breeze. The two kiosks at the front of the waiting room may be the only objects identifying that we are in the year 2025! LOL! After using the kiosk, you wait until your name is called to the front desk. Make sure you have your lab order ready to hand to them because that's pretty much all they need to finish your check-in. (A thorough lab order will have all your contact info, DOB, as well as all your insurance info.) The phlebotomist was young but very kind. My dad is 73 so finding a vein took a while. The phlebotomist was very patient. When she needed help, she didn't hesitate to ask one of her colleagues, who appeared to be in a supervisory role. I didn't get their names. But I'll always remember their kindness. Although lab work and blood draws like this are fairly simple and quick procedures, I appreciate the wonderful bedside manner of everyone involved from start to finish, from check-in to the moment when we apply pressure to the cotton ball at the injection site. A consistent bedside manner across all aspects of healthcare is important and everyone deserves it, but I must say that it is especially important for elderly patients like my dad who can become easily agitated. My dad was super chill the entire time and a large part of that is because of the calm, professional staff. But yeah, the premises are kinda ick. Sanitary and clean, yes. But quite drab and dreary. This Labcorp is located on Piscataway Road on the first floor of an office building, easy to spot from the road and plenty of parking. I came right at the time that it closes, and despite this, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The phlebotomist that took my blood was easy to talk to and distracted from the many vials of blood that were taken from me. Everyone there was professional and kind and the organization is lucky to have them. read more

I got to the office about half an hour after it opened. The check in was easy. I didn't have an appointment so I expected to wait. I was only waiting about 5 minutes, maybe less. The blood draw was pretty painless and the people working are very professional, but I've got a large bruise from the draw, that's really the only negative. Easy parking. Easy to find. Today I walked into LabCorp on Piscataway Rd, without an appt around 11:30 am. The waiting room was full. There were two total workers who were both processing walk-ins, troubleshooting paperwork, answering questions and taking lab specimens (Shame on Labcorp!) Rather than wait I figured it was best to make an appointment for another day. I went to the desk and Marta let me know there were about 4 people ahead of me and suggested I wait since I was already there. She was polite, respectful and efficient. I worried that it would be hard to find my vein because I'm a hard stick. I closed my eyes and then felt her taping my arm. She made a joke about seeing if she could find a vein on my other arm. I opened my eyes to see that she got a full vial despite me being dehydrated. It usually hurts and leaves a bruise. If you go, ask for Marta. read more

I came for a walk in appointment on a Saturday. The place was packed with standing room only. I checked in at the self check in kiosk and was immediately called to the front desk to provide my order. I waited for about 20 minutes and the gentleman at the front desk noticed I had been sitting there for a while. He brought me to the back, drew my blood, and sent me on my way. Although there were a lot of people, it was a pretty decently oiled machine and every now and then when I looked up there was a new group of people around me. They were getting people out quickly and professionally. I'm not sure what happened with my order or why mine took so long, but I was thankful that they were vigilant enough to notice me sitting there and did something about it. I've never had an issue with the Clinton office. It gets a little busy but avoid afternoons. I don't feel a thing when the guy takes my blood and the lady and I speak like we know each other. read more

This is ridiculous I made an appointment online for 8:45 I walk in the waiting area if full to the max they should send the fire marshall to shut this place down that's how many people are here. It is now 9:15 and I haven't been complete signed in. Why do they allow you to make appointments and they can't adhere to them. You ask them how many people and they have an attitude as if I'm bothering them. I'm irritated because I took the time to make an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The customer service at the front desk is absolutely rude and distasteful. After adding kiosk for express check in the front desk staff is still rude. I would assume that helped take " A Load off" when it comes to dealing with so many customers but at 7:00am their still pissed off. This makes patients feel super uncomfortable and uneasy. At this point maybe everything minus the actual phlebotomist should be computerized , at least they won't give so much attitude so early in the morning. I wish I knew her name but I know she's Lightskin with a ponytail and glasses! With 2 other women just sitting there, no one even said Goodmorning it even how May I help you. Do yourself a favor, book an appointment for the Waldorf Labcorp. They are professional, and they don't take all day. The staff in Clinton are unprofessional and loud. In addition to long waits, you can expect: 1. to hear broadcasts of what the staff are ordering from McDonald's or Wendy's. This is especially helpful as you sit for a long wait in your 24th hour of a fast for blood work; 2. to hear all about who was late to work, and who keeps stealing lunches; and who is dying for a smoke break . 3. to be treated as a pest. I wish I were joking when I say I sat there for 15 minutes before anyone asked to see paperwork. I was the only one in the waiting room at the time, so it wasn't exactly the morning rush. If you work at Clinton Labcorp, please take this review to heart...you can do better, you know you can. Long waits are understandable...but the the lack of professionalism and empathy is not. People in the waiting room are sick, tired and sometimes, scared. Please serve them with that knowledge in mind. I give them no stars.
