Total incompetence!! Appointment 9:30 arrive more than 20 people in waiting room people at stupid kiosks so go to counter as per instructions on wall person says have to use kiosk. Go through that BS then sit down 20 minutes later after several people were called I returned to desk to tell them I had a 9:30 appointment. She wants to see my phone then tells me to go back and scan something from my phone and check in again!! By now it's 10:00 and my appointment was 9:30 so told them where to shove it!! Clean, modern waiting room, speedy check-in and friendly service despite being very busy. I was lucky enough to be helped by Violet, who got on a call with my doctor to make sure they had the fax number and we had the right scrips, even though they were very close to closing time. She then took my blood expertly and with minimum discomfort. I almost don't want the word to get out about this location except that I want them to stay busy. Thank you to the team there! read more

I regularly use LabCorp on Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Washington, PA for my semi-annual routine bloodwork. I have no issue with the kiosk check-in procedure and the facility appeared clean and orderly. On my last visit, however, my view of the technical competence dropped. Ironically, I said "Nicely done" to the technician as she removed the syringe and applied the bandage. Fifteen minutes later I had returned to work and noticed the bandage was more bloody than usual. I lifted the tape and found an oval shaped hard lump about 1" by 1/2" raised about 1/2 inch from the crook of my elbow. Looking online, I learned that this is called a hematoma, which is caused when the needle exits the back side of the vein causing blood to pool under the skin. Arrived at 8:20am. Typing this review at 9:30am with three people still in line ahead of me. Front office staff member is rude, but we've heard customers leaving say that the only staff member doing blood draws is very nice and doing her best. What a mess. Update: It's 11am and I'm waiting in the chair. there is ONE person here. One person doing front desk, drawing blood, doing everything. A kind customer is buying her lunch since we've gotten to know each other after being here for 2.5 hours. It is inhumane that any one person should be working in these conditions. Every time I have a 7 am appt the person running the place gets here 10-20 minutes late. There was 10 people standing outside this morning waiting. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me. Completely unprofessional! And the whole place definitely smells like piss! read more

The clinic is good, but inefficient. A black young man working in this clinic is very unprofessional to draw blood. He pricked me twice. Caused my left arm to bruise over two weeks. If you need to draw blood here, it is best to find female doctors, they are very fast. Then will not hurt. read more

Don't come to this location!!! It's the worst!!!!! I had an 8am appointment for a glucose test that would need a blood draw an hour later. Now disclaimer, I was at the wrong location (I had been here before and my phone automatically took me here instead of the correct nearby location) but even with an appointment at another location, I showed up as a walk-in for this location. I get in 10 min early as requested but their scanner is busted so of course it takes a bit to log in manually. I'm sitting there....and sitting there...and sitting there (across from the lab tech mind you) and at some point the only one there for a while. You'd think this woman would call me up and ask what I'm there for (then she'd realize that all she has to do is give me a drink so that I can sit there for an additional hour while she took care of other people) or at least go on to explain that she's making me sit there because I don't have an appointment for her location so she needs to wait to take me. Instead she ignores that I'm sitting there and that I have been there for quite a while. I let them know that I was very unhappy with how they decided to treat me and her only excuse is "well you didn't have an appointment". A professional person would have explained that even with an appointment, the systems don't communicate and that she would squeeze me in when possible. A SMART person would have said "oh you're here for a blood test that has to be drawn an hour after drinking some sugar water?? Gee, I only have to give you the drink and let you sit longer, I can hand that to you since you've already been here for 40 min while I take care of other people!" First of all I went to the LABCorp location located in Spring House, PA in the Jefferson/Abington building on Bethlehem Pike. The lab there was a Jefferson facility until they sold it to Lab Corp. Not a good move from a patient's point of view. You have to sign yourself in by using your driver's license, and insurance cards. There is no signage to indicate you need these cards in order to get "signed in". Once you are done that there is a wait to see a person (only one) behind a desk to formally register you. This operation does not seem to speed things up, for I have gotten my blood taken there many times, and there was no wait time. Now at the new company, LAB corp there was a long line to use the scanner for your cards and then a long line to be seen by the clerk and then another line for the lab tech. Needless to say, I was totally disappointed in this new ownership of the outpatient lab. I will never return. When I used Lab Corp in the past, I was not happy about their wait time and it has only gotten worse. The last time I was using Lab Corp was 2010. I would have thought it would have gotten better but it is much worse. I will go to my local hospital for blood work. Plus the lab tech was bad. Tourniquet was on too tight, I had to ask her to loose it. The bandage, which was a wrap around, was on so tight I could not bend my arm. Horrible experience. STAY AWAY. read more

As soon as I walked in I had a feeling this place wasn't run very well. I made an appointment and when I went to the front desk they told me I had to sign in and then go check in on a kiosks. The lady out the front desk seemed like she really hated her job. When you go check in they make you fill out everything you already did online. What is the point to do it twice? Here is the kicker when they finally called me they told me I was late and they could skip over me if they wanted to. They explained to me that I was five minutes early but when I was done with the Kiosk eight minutes later I was then marked late. Is that not the dumbest thing you have ever heard? The people here were about as useful as a box of hammers. You might do a better job doing it on your own. Bottom line is if you want an office that is run well and will get you in and out don't come here! read more

Terrible. I waited around for 25 minutes to simply drop off a sample. I received a call saying they needed my sons insurance card by close of business or they couldn't process it. I called and they said they were open until 3. I showed up at 2:30 to a locked door. I knocked and they said they at 2. I asked if I could give them his info and they said they already discarded his sample. They suck. read more

With an appointment it still took me 55 minutes to be called back. They had 2 people working at this location filling in for the regulars. They couldn't manage to work on 2 people at a time until 35 minutes into my wait time. The easy check in kiosk said wait time of 3 minutes. Labcorp needs to be able to update the wait times. My time is important too. read more
