I have significant trauma when it comes to blood draws, and they are always understanding and compassionate. Today, though, deserves a standing ovation. I passed out not once but twice for a good five minutes, and thanks to their quick care and immediate action, I was okay. They handled everything with such calm, professionalism, and genuine concern. Seriously, you all deserve recognition by Quest as your work is critical, and bedside manner is far too rare in healthcare these days. Unfortunately, my experience at Quest Diagnostics was the complete opposite. After signing in at the kiosk, the first available appointment showed 7:30 AM. I selected the standby option instead, but shortly after, a staff member informed me their standby system wasn't working properly and I needed to choose a time slot. The system then wouldn't allow me to do that because I was already checked in as standby. This required staff to manually fix the issue, and by then I had lost my original place and was pushed to a 7:40 AM slot. The process inside was also uncomfortable. I was asked to empty my pockets into a locker that already contained medical items, including empty specimen cups, which did not feel appropriate. After providing the sample, I was asked to verify the cup number against the system, but the process didn't inspire much confidence given how easily things could be mishandled. On top of that, the staff member assisting me appeared visibly frustrated and unwelcoming, which made the whole experience even more unpleasant. Overall, what should have been a quick visit turned into a frustrating 1.5-hour experience due to disorganization and poor communication. I hope improvements are made to streamline the process and enhance patient experience.

While…read moreconvenient to home and I like the auto check in, service is still horrible-no receptionist to ask questions, automated phone system with no opportunity to get a human and talks a long time about things "everyone" doesn't need. Had to drive there to ask a question! Meanwhile they drew my labs FIVE days ago and still no results. Who gets away with this slow service when you're waiting on results that could be life or death? Shame on them and shame on me for being dumb enough to be back there. One phlebotomist was a witch and another was nice & helpful. Roulette on who you get, but overall experience is a ZERO.
