I always come here to give blood when the time comes, and I have to say these ladies are truly some of the most patient, kind, and helpful people I've ever encountered. I have significant trauma when it comes to blood draws, and they are always understanding and compassionate. Today, though, deserves a standing ovation. I passed out not once but twice for a good five minutes, and thanks to their quick care and immediate action, I was okay. They handled everything with such calm, professionalism, and genuine concern. Seriously, you all deserve recognition by Quest as your work is critical, and bedside manner is far too rare in healthcare these days. went in early (6:30 AM) for a routine drug screening expecting a quick visit, similar to my experience with Labcorp. Unfortunately, my experience at Quest Diagnostics was the complete opposite. After signing in at the kiosk, the first available appointment showed 7:30 AM. I selected the standby option instead, but shortly after, a staff member informed me their standby system wasn't working properly and I needed to choose a time slot. The system then wouldn't allow me to do that because I was already checked in as standby. This required staff to manually fix the issue, and by then I had lost my original place and was pushed to a 7:40 AM slot. The process inside was also uncomfortable. I was asked to empty my pockets into a locker that already contained medical items, including empty specimen cups, which did not feel appropriate. After providing the sample, I was asked to verify the cup number against the system, but the process didn't inspire much confidence given how easily things could be mishandled. On top of that, the staff member assisting me appeared visibly frustrated and unwelcoming, which made the whole experience even more unpleasant. Overall, what should have been a quick visit turned into a frustrating 1.5-hour experience due to disorganization and poor communication. I hope improvements are made to streamline the process and enhance patient experience. read more

I've been taking USCG/DOT Drug-screens, for 30 years, at Quest. This morning, I go to the one in Lakeland, Fl. and both women tell me they've never seen a CG-719P form before and that they won't allow me to pay for the screen myself, which, I have been doing for years, and at least 4 times in the last 3 years at this location. It's also nice that they claim, when I showed up for my appointment, that they don't take walk-ins--that's why I made an appointment!. Also, if you're 69 years old, it's a little tough to hold on and not pee your pants, while these folks keep holding you up with useless talk. Never again! read more

**Best visit ever** Scheduled my appointment conveniently online, large parking lot with easy to find establishment, I checked in at easy to use kiosk, chose the option to sit in large waiting area and was called back promptly back by Lee. She was professional, caring and gentle. Lee was able to draw my blood (which I have always had issues with other labs). She was thorough and ensured all labels matched my information. recent visit was easy to schedule online arrived early taken back a bit early the check in was easy the gal that drew the blood was pleasant. across the parking lot is labcorp. this was a night and day experience. if you have a choice Question by far is more professional the office is cleaner and you are treated with respect read more

Very rude!!! I understand with all the craziness with Covid going on and new procedures happening these nurses must be trying to adjust to new rules. However, that shouldn't be an excuse to have an attitude with all the patients coming in we're all trying to get through this time together. This poor lady just needed help at the self serve kiosk and the nurse very rudely huffed and puffed stormed out and raised her voice at her as she was helping her. There was also another lady who needed to use the restroom and instead of the nurse pulling her aside the nurse blurted out in front of everyone are you sure your going to be able to pee your appointment because your going to need to go again. Like I need to make sure your going to be able to because It's not a good idea to go now. The nurse should've pulled her aside and talked to her it was very unprofessional. As for me what I saw was enough and I'll be going to another Quest Diagnostics location with better customer service. read more

Ms Angela @ the Lakeland location assisted me with my blood work, she was awesome! This was my first visit @ this location! My appointment was for 1:30 and I was in and out! The self check in was awesome; scan your barcode & have a seat you're checked in! Not very many people were waiting when I got there; but those ladies cleared that seating area in no time! arrived at the location at 2:41 the office closed at 3:00 I went to go check a girl with long black hair came from the back and with an attitude asked if she can help me I said I was just checking in for a couple of labs I was just sent from my doctor. She then began to state that I was late they close at 3 and the last appointment is at 2:40 and rolled her eyes and stated I would have to come back. Phlebotomist could not have been more cold and rude. I had insurance questions and questions about billing that were simply brushed aside like they were below her. Then when it came time to draw blood, she took it out on me, I've never had a stick that painful in my life. Been to the hospital multiple times, had countless blood work panels, and this was by far the worse. read more

I needed tests to be able to clear for surgery. Results did not come back timely. Local Quest would not help to locate tests. Quest Diagnostics customer service number will NOT do anything for the customer. They said doctor must call. I am the one paying for this and I cannot get answers! read more

Horrible customer service. I made an appointment, arrived early, and and checked in via my phone. I waited in my vehicle (as was one of the options listed in my confirmation) for 15 minutes after the appointment. I then walked inside to a crowded lobby with nobody there to greet/check people in - just a self service check in tablet. I enter my information and it tells me that I'm more than 10 minutes past my appointment time and that I'd have to reschedule. I waited until I could finally speak to someone and they went back and confirmed that they had me on the list and that they are running late (it's now about 25 minutes past my appointment time). I wait outside and get called in about 15 minutes later only to have the lab technician spend about 15 minutes trying to lookup the code for my lab in the system. Then she decides to ask someone and comes back to the office tell me that they can't do this lab there (more like they don't know what they're doing) and tells me to go to Labcorp. So, after wasting about 50 minutes of my time, no apologies for being very late past my appointment, and being clueless about the lab codes in their system, I went down the street to a much better facility that performed my labs without an issue (and it definitely wasn't Quest). Rude staff, lack of time management, social distancing not monitored in the lobby with so many people. Their management should really take a look at this site and seriously perform a complete overhaul. I likely won't be returning to Quest again. read more

Today was was my first time going here and I have to say it was a bit of an awkward experience and left me feeling that the place lacked some proffessionalism. I was called up to the front desk to give some info., and I stood to the left of the counter. The lady sort of rudely told me to step right and stand in front of her. She then handed me a cup for a urine sample and told me to go through the door to the bathroom, without explaining what to do with the sample after.. I then came out of the bathroom and asked a different woman at the front desk what I should do with it and I though I heard: "Hold on to it." I then proceeded, yes, to the waiting room with my cup o' pee in hand. Feeling a bit awkward sitting with a room full of strangers holding my pee, I asked again at the front desk to be sure what I should be doing. I was met with an annoyed response from the same lady and was told the same thing to just hold it. The rest of my visit was quick and easy, but this process struck me as a bit odd, to say the least. read more
