Luckily I only waited about 15 minutes before being called to the back. You check in at a kiosk, then wait to be called to the front desk to hand over your prescription. The lady and the front desk and the lab tech that I had were both friendly and helpful. The tech was phenomenal! She found my veins with ease (which never happens) and had me in and out of her room in less than 5 mins. I was so nervous to get my blood drawn, that I didn't notice the condition of the room until afterwards. Then I walked into the bathroom and almost passed out! Dirty floor, sink falling off the wall, dusty pipes, no paper towels, no soap, no sanitizer- UNBELIEVABLE! I quickly alerted the front desk and she apologized and said she would let management know. That wasn't enough for me. I called corporate and of course was given the run around. I was promised a call back and here it is 2 week later and I am still waiting. They require that you wear a mask while in the office. I suggest wearing a mask and a hazmat suit cause it's disgusting in there! Stay far, far away from this place! I'll never ever visit this labcorp location or any other one ever again. The conditions of this office are deplorable and they need to be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!!!

I am the last person to write a bad review, but this experience got me on here to do just that…read more Not a great experience. I took my 2 year old in for blood work (lead check). The check-in process was very smooth.. which is the only reason I'm giving two stars.. I was able to do it right from my phone. I then received a phone call where the caller failed to address who was calling, just simply said "can you come inside" (with a rude tone). The phlebotomist, I'm guessing the same lady that called me, was very unprofessional and rude the whole time. I work in the medical field and someone like this lady should not be working with pediatric patients (at the least). She was completely unwelcoming.. got snappy with me when I wasn't holding my daughter down exactly how she wanted me to and made my daughter even more uncomfortable than she already was getting a needle in her arm. She did not have gauze ready when she pulled out the needle, which freaked my daughter out (seeing blood). I took her to this location because it read good reviews on here stating that the phlebotomist they had was great with children.. so I thought I would try it out. It was the worst lab experience I've had.

The site was not very cooperative or they didn't have enough locations with open slots... I couldn't tell, site was not every friendly. I decided to try Quest Diagnostics. After playing around with the Quest site for a few minutes, I got a listing of all available slots in NJ for Saturday morning... BINGO! I made an appointment at this Livingston location. While on their home page I found they have an iPhone app, not only can you use this app to make appointments, but also to keep all your healthcare information in one place: Healthcare providers Insurance Info Reminders Preferred Pharmacy And... Hypochondriacs and hoarders rejoice!!!! what impressed me the most.... You can request your lab results be sent to the app! I never, ever see or hear back about any lab results, which I am very grateful for, but I think this is a great feature. We do pay for these services yet we are never provided with this information directly. What a great idea!! What we will do with this information once we have it, who knows, but we at least we have it gosh darn it! One more thing to hoard and obssess about! Back to the scheduled review.... I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment. It was last Saturday morning, I bought some paperwork I needed to review, my iPhone, charger, a magazine... As soon as I signed in and sat down, my name was called and I was immediately setup and taken care of. I didn't even have a moment to panic, not one to waste an opportunity, I started panicking as we made our way to the guillotine... It was over before my panicking hit its high note, my Lab person (what are they called) was super fast! Here is my break down: Cleanliness and accommodations: 5 stars Speed of service: 5 stars Friendly service: 5 stars Convenience: 100 stars!

The lab downstairs, yikes. It's a zoo most days because every dr sends patients down there at any given time. I would only recommend going with a pre-scheduled app. as early in the day as possible. As for the phlebotomists (people who draw blood) - most are so nice and gentle. 1 in particular was rude and incredibly arrogant last week. I've gotten blood taken maybe 6x here (I'm pregnant) and only recently experienced such unprofessional demeanor. Just a heads up to those with small veins / young children. No one deserves to be spoke to rudely or in- pain. Period. I left with a huge bruise because of her roughness. This specific day I did need to get 4 blood draws, but the pain / bruising was not necessary. I did tell the OBGY office and they were super apologetic. Based on my prior experience I sure hope it was a 1-off experience and I don't run into that young women again because I will absolutely be passing on her drawing any blood from me, ever again and will wait for someone else.

Those taking drug tests, be forewarned…read more I reviewed this place a couple of weeks ago giving them a 3-star rating and I realize now it should have been 1 star and I'll tell you why. I came here to take a urine/drug test for my new job- a seamless process...or so I thought! I was supposed to start my job on 8/9 but my supervisor-to-be emailed me asking if we could postpone my start date until 8/23 indicating my drug test was taking longer then usual. Now I found it slightly odd that MY drug test could take "longer then usual" but okay. I thought nothing more of it until... Approximately 2 days ago I get an email from HR from my new job advising me the drug test was inconclusive, siting over-diluted urine. Now I found it very odd. I drink close to a gallon of water daily and have been for the past 7 years. This drug test was not my first go-around since I've taken about 4 drug tests within a 5 year period - all with no issues despite my excessive water-drinking habit. Yes it was odd but possible there was an issue. HR allowed me to take it again, so I rescheduled my drug test for the very next day. Once again, registering online through the Quest website was very easy and quick. I get to Quest and a nice lady named Kim calls me in to complete the drug test. Kim is very professional. She takes me to the restroom. She then unlocks a metal case in the restroom for me to put my pocketbook in. The first time I was there the lady that helped me told me to leave my pocketbook in the office and she locked the door so this process was different to me. After I peed in the cup, Kim immediately took my urine and poured it into 2 vials. She then told me to dispose of the rest of my urine in the toilet, flush and throw the cup out. None of that was done the first time I was there. Then, Kim took me back to the office where she put a sealed sticker onto each vial and had me initial each one. Again, none of this was done the first time. I told Kim none of that was done when I was there a couple of weeks ago. Kim seemed surprised. She said that was their strict procedure and if my initials were not on that seal, the test could not and would not go through. At this point I'm thinking someone...ahem...the employee I dealt with a couple of weeks ago must have messed up. Lastly, Kim printed a sheet of paper that had my information on it and other information pertinent to Quest. She ripped the bottom portion off and gave me the top. Again, didn't happen the first time I was there. The employee gave me the whole sheet of paper and I left. I believe Kim did everything she was supposed to do. Her patience and professionalism was most appreciated- 5 star appreciated but I can only give one star because of my first visit. I believe I will not be called back for an inconclusive test this time because it seems Kim did everything right. Not sure what happened the first time but I'm very upset to say the least. If my potential employer even suspected that I did something to tamper with my urine test, it's possible they may not have given me a second chance to take it again and I would have lost out on employment. Would I come back? Only if Quest could ensure Kim would assist me. I would not take a chance on coming back and risking employee errors at my expense.
