The best place to get labwork done in Union! The staff is always wonderful esp Diana and Ingrid we go every week for bloodwork and never make an appointment, just walk in. Wait times are always quick. First, the place closes too early - 1:00-15-1:30. But, most importantly the staff are very unpleasant to deal with. The women who take your information in the office are condescending + made me feel dumb. My experience here was great. I had an appointment for 9:30am on a Saturday. I got to Labcorp around 9:20 and checked in. I waited about 5 minutes and was called in to have my information taken. I was sent back to the waiting area. Waited another five minutes and was called to have my blood work done. I was very surprised at how quickly the process was because the place was packed! This place is so unorganized. They send everyone to the rooms without rooms being available. A huge line from the back to the front of people waiting for rooms. Very unprofessional and messy. There also a bunch of urine samples right in the hallway. No discretion for client information. read more

They really need a receptionist. The phlebotomist shouldn't be checking people in AND taking blood. Also, the phlebotomist should allow you to rest your arm on the arm rest instead of making you hold your arm out while they stick you. Lastly...if you have to use the restroom, look around for soap and paper towels upon entry. The day I went, neither were there. read more

Very unorganized & unprofessional. The staff appears overwhelmed yet very nonchalant and there really aren't any structures in place. You walk in and you're instructed to check in using a machine ok great but you're given no other information and you have no idea if you need to sit or check in or what to do as there isn't any sign age and the kiosk doesn't inform you. So after using the kiosk you basically sit and wait to be called ulon which insurance and copayments are taken. After that you're sitting again snd waiting to be called for the actual bloodwork This is a shitshow and never again will i come to this facility read more

I didn't wait (had an appointment) and everyone was pleasant, but it's a bit unorganized and the tech gave me a painful draw (my arm is still hurting hours later, and I get blood taken often enough.) Skip it and go to one of the other branches. There are plenty close by. read more

The worst place ever. I took my kids saturday and was there for 2 hrs and one of my kids were fasting, so imagine a hungry child waiting to have blood drawn. Then i had to go back today (tuesday) because my 6 year old needed a 2nd testing. Again 2 hrs waiting, then when the tech finally comes to do my son's blood work, she gets a phone call and asks if i mind her taking the call. There 2 hrs, with a job interview that i had to rush to and she wants to stop what she has to do to use the phone. Of course I mind. Then she chooses a regular size needle for a 6 year old and guess what?! no blood would come out, so here we go for a 2nd time and my son is screaming and crying at this point. I had to tell her to use the small kid's needle, which I think a phlebotomist would know this. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!! if u go make an appointment but be prepared to wait. SMH read more

This is an awful, unorganized place. While waiting for two hours, I overheard one of the techs say to the person at the front desk, "It spilled everywhere. She didn't even close it right!" It turns out she was referring to a urine sample that had fallen in a specimen cart, and she was blaming the patient for their failure to ensure the sample was secured before storing. When they finally got to me, I was turned away for not having insurance cards (I had just started a new job and was waiting for the new cards in the mail). Despite having my member ID and insurance group number, they would not see me. They were very short with everyone. The place is a circus. read more

I had my first experience with Labcorp today. I read some reviews and I realized it's people complaining about long waits. Well if you don't make an appointment and you go on a Saturday common sense.... you are going to wait. I went today, having scheduled an appointment. They were very quick to take you pretty much on time (maybe a 10-15) min wait with an appointment. If you don't have an appointment yes there is a bit of a wait. I went for a glucose test and had to spend 3 hours there. Mary Jo and Lisa were my phlebotomist. They were wonderful! As busy as they were they we careful and friendly. I give this office credit. I saw some people they had to deal with (Rude, loud, impatient) and still they acted professional. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I feel like the place needed a be cleaned up a bit. read more

I've been using this branch of LabCorp for a few years. The thing some people forget is that this place gets extremely bus, and if you don't want to wait for 2 hours, you can make an appointment. It is also a standard policy at any healthcare provider that you will be asked for your insurance card. When I started a new job with new insurance, I made sure I asked for a temporary number, and was directed to the organization's benefits site to download/print one out. It's not brain science to be prepared. Most of these tech's are quite good at phlebotomy, and are very quick. Once you get into the lab room, it takes them just a couple of minutes to verify information and draw blood (without having to hunt for a vein, I might add.) I've seen them handle large crowds that included little kids who screamed and refused to be touched, and they still treated everyone else professionally. Recently there was an "incident" where a new tech spilled blood and was clearly too nervous to work; all the techs came in and took over, one to deal with her, and one each to deal with the patients. My critiques are that because they know that certain times will be very crowded, they have some extra help on call. The regulars are always very nice to me, and when I do make an appointment, I am taken right at appointment time; I've seen others with appointments taken on time as well. read more
