Made a 7:30am appointment on their website weeks ago... got text message confirmation... ...arrived on time, ready to pee into a cup, but no one was there! 7:30am passes... 7:40am passes... still lights off; nobody's home! Even gave them a few courtesy minutes, until a lady from a neighboring office walked by and told me that they haven't been open for around a month and that she's seen people waiting there every day for nothing. WHAT THE? So I call their office number and ONLY THEN is there a message that they're temporarily closed. WHY NO SIGN ON THE DOOR? WHY DID THEIR SYSTEM MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A PLACE THAT'S CLOSED? I want to write a negative experience on yelp for Labcorp front desk staff. I work in the medical field and deal with many patients. Never should someone get talked to the way I was by the staff. Couldn't even ask her a question before she kept repeating herself no. Very Rude. No matter how long she's work for the company she should not treat patients the way she did. I was assigned this facility for a urine panel. They are completely backed up over a month for appointments, so I had to attempt a walk in. I walked in at 10 AM and was met with a sign that said "Appointments only. We will return to walk ins tomorrow." I walked in anyway just to confirm with an employee that I would be seen tomorrow. She told me that to be seen I should show up as early as possible. So, I adjusted my schedule so I could be waiting outside at 8:55, 5 minutes before they began accepting walk-ins, to ensure I'd be seen. I was then faced with the same exact signage from the day before, adjusted now to say they won't accept walk ins until two days from now. I was lied to by the employee who had absolutely no sympathy or professionalism. I asked her if there was any guarantee that they'd be taking walk ins any time this week, as I desperately need this labwork done. She said no. This facility should be adjusted. Terrible service! I went to a labcorps office to get some lab work done. the lady was nice and we have a great conversation. Days go by and i'm waiting to receive my results. Weeks go by and i begin to worry. Finally they email me saying that the sample had never arrived to the lab. I go back a week later with no appt (because they never have appt available). And ask if I could redo the sample that is now desperately needed. They turn me away saying that me being late is late. And they won't see me. As they put it " late is late". Not only annoying that my first sample was lost but now I have to wait until monday. read more

The lady with curly hair displayed behavior that was not only extremely rude but outright disturbing. She forcefully grabbed my hand while I was holding my daughter--an action that was aggressive, uncalled for, and completely unacceptable. My daughter, an innocent child, was frightened by this act and is now asking me if she has to face that woman again. No family should ever be put in this position. What makes this situation even more alarming is that, despite repeated complaints from others, this individual continues to be employed here. I have to ask--what does that say about this company's values? Is she truly considered reliable, professional, or such an indispensable asset that the company is willing to risk lawsuits and its reputation over her? Because from where I stand, her conduct shows the exact opposite: she is a liability, and her presence undermines the trust and safety of everyone who walks through your doors. Terrible experiance, first time i arrived they turned me away even tho there was no one in the waiting room and it was within the drug screening hours. They said come another day so I did. I arrived at 10:40 am and been waiting up to 11:30 and then the staff girl told us " Im going to lunch if after i come back and you dont get helped until 12:40 then you will not get helped come back another day." We have to keep in mind that yelp reviews are a case by case and you can't please everyone. I on the other hand had a wonderful experience and the quality of care was excellent. No appointments, I walked in on Wednesday and Friday morning shortly after they opened (7:30am) and there was no wait at all. I have to admit, I was a bit concerned about not having an appointment but, I was seen immediately (no wait)!! It's a simple and efficient process!! Walk in and to the right you'll see two check in areas with screens. Have your ID and Insurance card, if any readily available. It'll ask to scan your cards, go through your personal profile, confirm if everything is correct, reason for your visit and you're done. The staff will call your name almost immediately and you hand them your insurance card and your referral from your doctor. I was called back immediately and in and out in less than 5 minutes both times. The whole place is clean and neat! The ladies there are so sweet and welcoming! The Latina that helped me (I didn't get her name, she's awesome) up front on the left side helped check me in and draw my blood both times. She was very nice and welcoming, we had a great conversation, even if it was short. Keep up the great work ladies!!! My advice: uber or Lyft if you can, so much easier!! I live downtown so it's super convenient to do that. No hassle of trying to look for parking! Come first thing when they open (7:30am) or before 9am. I'm not sure how busy it gets after then but I was in and out with no problems!! Make sure you check online and confirm the listing of what services they offer and what is it that you need done!! Some LabCorp does not offer all services! Appointments are recommended but walk ins are welcome! Come in before 9am and I'm sure you won't have to deal with a long wait! Website allowed for 1:45pm drug screening so I scheduled. They called the morning of at 8am to inform that it was a glitch? in the system. I arrived half an hour early and older lady with curly orange hair told me she "called but you didn't pick up" and a printout showing that she called me. First of all, I believe you if you say you called. No need to rub it in with a printout. Secondly, your first efforts should be to try to make arrangements for me the day of the appointment that your website allowed for instead of just starting with OH GLITCH. can't DO TODAY. Its the gesture that goes a long way. Thirdly, not everyone is awake at 8am and also do not pick up if it is from an unknown number. They have access to my email and text but they resorted to the one people can't verify the caller's identity. You could also call multiple times instead of inconveniencing the person when they arrive early for their appointment. read more

I'm not a fan of getting blood drawn, but it was necessary so I headed to the nearest LabCorp. I was so happy to have gotten Mayra at the front. What a joy - she was so friendly, professional, and fast. And she took my blood in SECONDS, hardly even felt the prick. Some people just have a great touch, and Mayra is one of them. As a medical professional I can say that I interact with the whole spectrum of people, nationalities, cultures and even dispoitions on nearly a day to day basis. I am an ER Travel nurse. This means that I am constantly getting pre-employment lab work, physicals and other clinical tests done throughout the year. As one renews, another expires. This being said, I get to meet many other healthcare professionals. Most are pleasant, even delightful, but occasionally some are miserable wretched souls. I always make it a point to leave behind an irritable patients bad attitude before engaging with my next patient. Its not only the professional thing to do, but the right thing to do. Not the case with Aurora at this Labcorp at 1400 S Grand Los Angeles, CA. She was obviously irritated at the late arriving patient who entered just before me. I seemed to be her emotional punching bag though. I was not greeted, but rather curtly acknowledged, and it just went downhill from there. Now, I am a patient and tolerant person almost to a fault. So I kept my irritation to myself, any negative reaction only serves to fan the others flames, further darkening their mood. She remained rude throughout the encounter by issuing directions as sharp, blurted out demands. When ordered to roll my sleeve up I did so on my left arm and presented it for the blood draw. This earned me a second, more forceful "roll your sleeve up." I clearly looked at my arm with the sleeve rolled up well into my bicep with a bewildered look on my face. That garnered me a curt "your OTHER sleeve" in a demanding yet exasperated tone. It was only then that I could no longer contain myself and uttered "Not much for customer service, huh?" and requested her name while I could hear her co-workers in the background gasp quietly. ( I have six children and truly have the 'ears of a mother'". The encounter concluded with my blood drawn per requirements and no diminishment in her icy and rude demeanor. It is through reviews that I choose to make my voice heard as confrontation gains one no ground but rather dimishes you own standings. Perhaps this will be heard by the proper person. She kept saying to hurry because she didn't have time to wait that she was the only person in the office yet the waiting room was empty. Overall, it was a great visit. I visited here for a blood draw because I'm an old dude and made the appointment online. Because I didn't want to pay too much for parking, I drove around a bit, but it was fairly easy to find an open meter (it was Tuesday at noon). I also used their online check-in feature, where they text you when it's your turn to come up. The clinic itself was clean and orderly. I had to write a review, as I'm sitting here with my arm throbbing again. The people that work there are really kind and friendly. They upgraded the place and it looks very nice and clean. And the scheduling process is really easy. I left my Dr appt with orders and scheduled an appt for the same day within 2 hours and was able to get to work. But I have to say that they need to have more experienced techs. I've had my blood drawn plenty of times in my life and know what an easy draw feels like and I do have pretty good veins, stay hydrated, in good shape, etc. In 2017 I had to do blood work for a surgery, my arm was jacked up for a week. Sore, I believe it was nerve pain. It hurt when she "looked" for the vein with the needle in my arm. Again this past Friday, I had blood drawn again. My arm is having that weird nerve pain again. I definitely can't go back. I'm afraid next time someone might really injure me. If you need a urine test, go here. I think that's fine. The location is in a nice building but the office clinic itself is really dingy - not quite rundown, but REALLY needs a cleaning. Place is small and efficient, staff were very nice, professional, and friendly. book an appointment, it'll save you the annoyance of being on the walk-in list behind all the other people that didn't plan ahead. I was in and out in under 10 min. Had to take a urine drug test and they gave open clear cups (think solo cups lol) instead of the cup with a screw lid and the sterile sticker. So I guess be careful not to knock it over or trip while you're carrying it. and a bit awkward that the bathroom opens into the waiting room when you're holding a cup of pee everyone can see; but hey thats what most of us are here to do right. I had a horrible time here the receptionist was amazing. That's the only reason why it gets two stars. The lab tech station was really mean. I came in with two children and a woman with Alzheimer and was told to leave an eight month year-old baby and an Alzheimer patient in the lobby zero concern about anything except the job which normally would be good but you can still be kind. They have always been kind to me and always get me on the first stick. I don't even feel it! I have a needle phobia. Clean sanitary clinic. I am a hard stick sometimes because I have small deep veins that roll. Remember to hydrate before I go. Makes it easier. They also have a water dispenser in the office for clients. read more

I was here for almost 2 hours waiting on a pee exam. There was about 6-7 people ahead of me, but it shouldn't have taken that long to collect pee and make them sign 3 papers. The time of the location was supposed to close at 5pm, but they only have exams from 12-3pm. That doesn't say that anywhere but inside in a piece of paper. I got my employment drug test here and everything was perfectly smooth. I just use self check in and like 5 minutes later on they called my name and ask me the id. customer service was cool and nice when I was there. I'm not sure about the bad reviews here but everything was good when I was there. I just saw some old guy having hard time to use the self check in, but he speak Spanish and I wastraying to help but I don't understand enough Spanish. The people here are nice enough, but the office is a broom closet. There are only 9 seats, and currently as I sit here, one family is taking up 5 of them with their 4 kids. All the seats are full, and the receptionist seriously just told a girl to "have a seat and we'll call your name" Hahaha! I've come here to take a drug test, and it's not the fault of Labcorp, but I got here at 12 (sent by an employer) and I was greeted by a big sign on the door that states they only give drug tests from 1-4pm. So I've been waiting.. and I noticed that since the place is so small, you literally walk by the full view of the waiting room whenever you exit the restroom with your urine cup. Look everybody! I mean, it's not a huge deal, but still a little unsettling. I think this place is just too small for all the drug screens, etc that come through here without appointments. There are four people standing in the hallway next to the restroom because there's nowhere to sit. I home I don't bump into them when I leave the restroom with my specimen cup. Yikes. Update: After I found out I had to wait an hour before they began taking drug test patients, I walked around and found some lunch. I came back at 1:15 and had to wait for the couple of people who had signed in before me, no big deal. But then at 1:50, I realized they were calling people back who had arrived after me(?!) I read the sign in sheet, and sure enough, they were already down to the third person AFTER me on the sign in sheet! I pointed this out and they said they didn't skip me, and that I was next. Right. Don't lie to me AS I'm looking at the list of names. The guy they were helping when I pointed this out had signed in at 1:45. My sign in time was 1:15, jerks. I came to this place during the week to get my lab work done during my regular yearly check up and am glad i decided on this place. First, i must say that I see many of the reviews on here on complaints for the wait time. However , I made an appointment at 8:30am, showed up 8:15am and was out by 8:45am. It was quick and easy stop at this place. As i filled out the waiting list i realized that 90% of people show up here with no appointment , hence their wait of over an hour. There were 15 people ahead of me on the list but as soon as the person that they were helping finished, I was called up next due to my appointment reservation. So if you decide to get lab work done here, yes, its not the fanciest but it can be much faster if you simply go online and get an appointment prior to your visit. The interior was small, nothing fancy at all, few chairs only and very busy lobby but receptionist and staff was friendly and helpful. When I need lab work done again, I will definitely return to this place. read more
