EVER…read more Made a 7:30am appointment on their website weeks ago... got text message confirmation... ...arrived on time, ready to pee into a cup, but no one was there! 7:30am passes... 7:40am passes... still lights off; nobody's home! Even gave them a few courtesy minutes, until a lady from a neighboring office walked by and told me that they haven't been open for around a month and that she's seen people waiting there every day for nothing. WHAT THE? So I call their office number and ONLY THEN is there a message that they're temporarily closed. WHY NO SIGN ON THE DOOR? WHY DID THEIR SYSTEM MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A PLACE THAT'S CLOSED? So much has changed since the last time I had to go to a Lab Quest…read more Appointments can now be made completely online. If you don't already have a Quest account, I recommend creating one. You can select your appointment, enter your insurance and ID information ahead of time, which saves time and can help avoid potential billing issues. Based on my observations, if you want a morning appointment, you're probably looking at booking about two days out (most Lab Quest are closed on the weekends). Once you arrive, there's no traditional registration desk. You check in using one of the two available kiosks. You can search for your appointment directly, or have your email confirmation ready and scan the QR code. Once that's done, you're checked in! You can also see the queue on the TV screen, which is nice because you know where you are in line. Parking is probably the biggest downside. They do not validate parking. You can try to find street parking, but it's limited and costs $1.50/hour max. Your other option is the parking structure, which is $2 per 15 minutes or $10 daily max. I had a 9am appointment and checked in at 8:40am. I was completely done and out by 9:05am. Overall, a positive experience. The check-in process is quick and easy, and the whole visit was surprisingly efficient. My only complaint is the parking situation - it's definitely a roll of the dice, especially if you're trying to find street parking. Very lucky, it wasn't a hectic Friday morning when I went.
