That violates hipaa, god forbid the wrong person picks up that notebook and starts reading it. I got x-rayed and told that they cant see anything on the x-ray but I might have a fracture and to make an appointment with my podiatrist. I was given an ace bandage and crutches because they don't provide medical boots. They then gave me pushback when asking for my preferred pharmacy due to the fact that it is over an hour away from them, even though I told them i didnt want any pain medication. I only wanted my injury documented and wanted a mobility aid. Despite the fact that they took my insurance information, a few weeks later I recieved a text message from them, stating I owed $481 for my visit, when I have a $0 copay per my insurance. After not receiving an EOB from my insurance company, I called my case manager who informed me that they had no record of my urgent care visit. I then called AtlantiCare's customer service line only to find out they did not even have my insurance information on file. I, once again, provided my insurance information and it is now covered, saving me from having to pay the almost $500 for my visit. Be very careful upon going to this location. If you know you have a $0 copay for urgent care centers and receive a bill from them, make sure you call your insurance company before paying a single penny.

Despite the clinic being busy, the total time from check-in to check-out was about 1 hour and 10 minutes, which felt very reasonable. The level of care and customer service was top notch. A medical assistant greeted me and brought me back, followed by a nurse who took my vitals and asked if I needed water or a blanket. While waiting for the doctor, two additional staff members stopped by just to check in and see if I needed anything, which really stood out. Dr. Miles was caring, efficient, and thorough, and got me on my way with a clear plan and medication. The only thing keeping this from a full five stars was a prescription mix-up that required me to use a paper copy instead of it being sent directly to the pharmacy. Thankfully, it was an easy fix. The ONLY thing I recommend is trying to avoid going in for simple things that can be handled over the phone. Their wait time can be astronomical, so if you have an appointment, allot yourself plenty of time to be there so that you're not rushed. This is a VERY busy office, so keep that in mind! And of course, to maximize profit. 3) Bloodwork is done in their clinic which is convenient, but would charge additional for what is supposed to be 100% covered by insurance. 4) Will charge $30 for no-show, but will not send a single reminder either via text or email or call. I was scared and sick. When they came to my house,my pup was barking with all the visitors. They didn't blink and he is a big guy. By the time they got me in the ambulance, they had calmed Wilson too. The thing is, they didn't just transport me and dump me off t the hospital. They stayed with me till the Emergency Nurse came to take over. This helped. It's hard to be alone when you are not well.. I appreciated their care and kindness. Then the RN, I think Tiara? Began her professional attentive care calmed me. When you can't breath it creates fear and she was quick to give me care. Jade was already waiting to do a chest x-ray and was as kind as could be. They don't want you to drink anything, when you first arrive till they determine your care. But when you are struggling to breathe you become very uncomfortably dry. My Nurse gave me a sponge wipe for my lips. It sounds small but it so was not. Dr. Sing was terrific and efficient. Answered my questions and admitted me to the hospital. I was eligible for hospital at home because I am a senior . An excellent choice. I had been in this program before. I have asthma that can get out of control and they have been able to stabilize me before. The care you can get at home without being in the hospital is a big plus. A virtual doctor visit every day and 2 RN visits give you the support that you need without the trauma of being hospitalized. The Doctors were fantastic. I can't remember all their names but I do remember a Dr Leu and Dr Malek. There were 2 others and I am sorry I cant remember their names. The Doctors did not just give me medical directives, they partnered with me and planned with me. Very noble. Thank you. My Nurses, Christine, Michael, Joe, Sarah and Emily, all very thorough and compassionate. Even the couriers who delivered needed medicine, equipment and even food were prompt friendly and professional. I am feeling better and those partners are the reason why. I did not feel comfortable at that point receiving any medical attention from the staff. I was honestly in shock and just walked out. I went to Atlantic Care Express in Berlin and the staff was amazing. I ended up needing to be given steroids to help the swelling in my throat go down so that I could breathe. I was so embarrassed and uncomfortable, I did not feel safe. This was not the first time I've received attitude upon entering this place, I will not be returning for any medical emergencies.
