Pro's-Not too bad of a wait, the workers are professional, office is clean. Cons-They rarely answer the phone (which could save lots of time for patients needing more info prior to their visit), there is no info ANYWHERE that they stop drug screening at 11am DAILY, the waiting area gets full quickly and it's just a bunch of ppl wearing masks standing close to each other in the tiny front area (Unless you wait outside where they have a couple of chairs staged for the overflow inside) Have your info ready for what you need done, don't expect anyone to answer the phone line tho. Literally the worst location, nobody wants to talk to you no costumer service everywhere the posted a sign of making an appointment. Which I did and I had to wait 2 weeks for it. But then out of no where at the same day of my appointment they sent me an email that my appointment is canceled and this location will be close today. Literally no other explanation. I had scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out online. I showed up at my scheduled time and the door was locked and lights were out. I went to the Queen Labcorp office to see if I could get my labs done there and unfortunately I could not. The office employee at the queen let me know this is a regular occurrence and the girl that works at the Villa Lane office choses when she wants to show up. I didn't receive a cancellation email or notice that they would be closed during my scheduled appointment time. This is an extremely important time sensitive appointment and this is completely unacceptable!!! I have reached out to management with no response. read more

The staff are great, but a long wait because there are not enough staff to handle the demand. It's almost impossible to schedule an appointment even weeks or a month in advance, and they often close unexpectedly. Sometimes that means they only take people have appointments, other times they just stop operating. This is my third trip in a row, where I could not get my lab drawn because there was some sort of problem and there were delays or it was closed. Stop you are great, but the scheduling, computer system, and long delay delays are caused by mismanagement. There used to be another nearby location, but they switched to appointment only and there are almost no appointments available. That has only made the demand at this location higher and the possibility of getting your test done without a 45 minute long wait more likely. read more

Horrible. My New job requires tests within 3 days. No appointments available within 25 miles for weeks. I finally got one...outside of the required 3 days. At 11:30 the night before my scheduled and important appointment, I get an email stating the appointment is cancelled secondary to inadequate staffing. They gave me 13 hours notice for cancellation of my appointment. (If I did that I'd probably have to pay a cancellation fee) I had a tb test on Wednesday from this location...Only one guy was working. I guess he's called sick for today. They gave me no recourse for my appointment today. The Appointment system is entirely automated. Next appointment for urine test after this cancellation is in several weeks...after my start date. No one answers the phone. Labcorp is trying to do healthcare without using human staff. Good luck to all of us trying to deal with businesses like this. Again...Horrible! Previously, I have complained about the general confrontational attitudes of staff and dismissive and abusive behavior toward the elderly at the Napa 3448 Villa Lane site. This coupled with card readers that are often out of service, cannot read cards properly, and long waits even when you arrive early and secure the #1 thru #3 position in line are commonplace at that location. This morning, I arrived there at 6:13 AM only to be curtly advised by the entering staff person at 6:30 AM (opening time), that as of last month the site no longer takes walk-ins and appointments are required. (No sign posted on the locked gate letting returning clients know.) There were two of us there and we were referred to a nearby Labcorp at 1100 Trancas Street. I arrived there at 6:35 AM. That site opened at 7:00 AM. Only one person was present to service approximately 15 people already in line. I was seen at ~7:23 AM and out by ~7:38 AM. The one person present had to register clients and then take their specimens. She was polite and competent but CLEARLY overworked. When I left, there were roughly 20-25 people spilling out into the hallway waiting. Several of the folks waiting this morning claimed that they had reported with appointments the day before to find the office closed during business hours because the person reporting for work did not have their key and it took roughly 4 hours to find the building manager to open the door. Enough is enough. I feel sorry for the polite, effective young woman at 1100 Trancas Street who has to work under those conditions and the clients who have to wait. I understand that Quest Labs (also nearby in town) takes people more efficiently, has more staff, and does not curtly turn people away. Unfortunately, they open an hour later, so today I had planned to be 1st in line at the Villa Lane Labcorp. Big Mistake! Recently, my physician down the hall from Labcorp advised me of how he drives down the street to Quest as opposed to walking down the hall to Labcorp. So I do not consider the above to be an unreasonable report. I announced this fact to all those folks in the waiting room and in the hallway as I was leaving. This smacks of corporate greed and uncaring management. As a former successful local business owner, I will be urging my friends and neighbors to speak with their wallets and explore Quest Labs. In my opinion, Labcorp does not deserve to remain in business in the Napa area. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for employment drug testing for today and received a call that I needed to go to SANTA ROSA which is an hour away. Come and check in at 10:20am for a pre employment oral drug screening, but get turned away due to hours supposedly being from 8am - 10am. When calling this locations phone number, the hours of operation for drug screenings are clearly said to be from 8am - 11am. Id suggest you should update the automated message and the website to let people know the last call for drug screens are at 10am to save both our time. Also recommending me to go to Santa Rosa location isnt very helpful since it's about 40 minutes away. read more

AND there was only one other patient in the building. Made an appt for the next week for a pre-employment drug test. And was called AN HOUR BEFORE saying they were cancelling all of these tests for the day. Both days they said it was due to staffing. I had an appointment today for a pre-employment drug screening. I drove there from Fairfield and was told that they were not doing pre-employment drug screening today because the person taking the specimen called out sick. No one else there could take urine in a cup and have it tested, just this person. The receptionist didn't know if the person would be in the next day, so she suggested that I call in the next day to see if I could get in. They don't answer their phone, so I'm not sure how that would work, however, at this point, I'm completely disgusted with this place. I'm supposed to start a new job on the 16th. read more

Before you came to Napa, The Queen Hospital had a location at 980 Trancas, never had to wait longer than10-15 minutes. You're doing something wrong or you,'re not good competen to have this kind of business. I asked the person signing me in if i registered and gave him my cell number to call me when it was close to my turn, no such luck and you should have a talk with this person, he really dose not represent you well and is that your method of operation. The lab itself is fine. The wait's not that long although they could add some chairs for their tiny waiting room. It's the BILLING that was a problem. They billed the wrong insurance company and continue to send me an exorbitant bill for a few tests done last year in ONE visit. Called their help # to straighten it out. Two months later? Another bill for the same amount (over $900 for inexpensive tests)! Come on, LabCorp: Get your billing sh#t together! I'll be using Quest in the meantime. read more

I have had several blood draws here, always prompt, usually first jab, and the check in is easy with appointment. Results in one to two days although they do not provide to my providence portal, only to doctor with order. However, recently had serious bout with colitis, took emergency stool sample with doctor order to reception...same as many, no other patients, but lots of chatting by staff before attending to me. Six days later, no results, no indication of my doctor order on the Labcorp website, two phone calls BEGGING for tracking, what happened to sample. No response. I intend to pursue this as I checked in with their digital site, leaving a sample and yet NO response, no result. Suspect they lost/mishandled sample, do not want to own up to their negligence. I would recognize lady who was responsible for taking the order. read more

The three young ladies at the desk were talking poorly about another coworker in front of the lobby. I quietly checked in at the kiosk and started to wait. A few minutes go by and my name gets called only to be told that the service I needed was unavailable because the tech who performs it was out sick... yesterday I had come in for the same service and was neglected care and told to come back "tomorrow". By now I was getting a bit annoyed and ask if I could just leave my sample for the tech to get to later as I needed results ASAP. The girl at the desk (who looked like she just got out of bed with messy hair and totally unprofessional attitude) then made a snarky response back and told me "she's still sick." Not sure what happened with this company but we have had nothing but terrible experiences with them over the last year. The staff has been incredibly rude and condescending. Not only to myself but I watch their receptionist absolutely belittle an elderly lady who didn't understand the process or why they wanted to charge her $150 before even billing her insurance company. They now force you to leave a credit card on file just in case there is a bill and then they randomly charge you months later with no warning. I have never been treated with such disrespect and ignorance. I will say the phlebotomist they have actually doing the drawing have been great. Its the woman at reception who is awful. Labcorp should be ashamed at the way this business is being run. I will gladly pay a little more to have labs done by a professional organization that values their customers. When I arrived at Labcorp yesterday afternoon for blood work, there was a mother with autistic children who were having a difficult time with being there. The personnel were extremely patient, kind, and accommodating with the family. Kudos to them for making that mom's life a little easier. This place is an absolute joke. I needed a drug test for a medical program I got accepted into. I got an email from them with directions on how to proceed. Nowhere in my paperwork did it specify they only do drug screenings from 8-11am. I even made an appointment through their website for 2:30pm. I showed up, checked in 25 minutes early, and was never notified to come in to the building (they are supposed to text you). I finally walked in and the lady at the front counter acted like she had no idea why they scheduled me an appointment at that time. It was horrific to listen to the staff laugh about getting samples confused. Patient confidentiality was broken right in front of me. I stood at the window waiting while the employees laugh and carried on their conversation. As I was new, the young lady wanted me to use a machine to check in. I'm handicapped and could not do it. I had an appointment and arrived early. I did not expect to be seen early. I settled in and watched people come and go. Women who were talking and said they did not have appointments came and went while I waited. The room was full and more people came and went. Thirty minutes after arriving I mentioned to an employee behind the desk that I had been there quite a while while watching people who arrived after without appointments come and go. She said they take appointments first. I explained I had an appointment and it was my appointment time. I waited another 15 minutes before she checked me in. She put my paperwork in a slot. Still waiting another employee walked in saying she had given notice. The person that checked me in and the one who had given notice continued talking and laughing. They went to the back room and I could heat them joking and laughing. Another employee asks me "Did they leave you here?" I was the only customer in the building at this point. I said "Im still here!" She took me back and drew my blood. I left an hour after I arrived. I will NEVER use this lab again. Do not take your little kids here! I was here to get labs done for my 2 1/2 year old and we were walk-ins and I was prepared to wait. Our pediatric Dr. requested I get these labs done ASAP as he was going on vacation and they wanted results. There were only two workers and the line was really long due to drug testing. This was ok, because I understood the situation. I started getting frustrated when other walk-ins started going before us. Not until almost everyone was gone, that one of the ladys told me that she was waiting to clear everyone out so she can take her time with my toddler. I was fine with that, I would rather her be comfortable with my toddler than rush. Once we were called back, I told her I do not want her sticking my toddler unless she felt 100% sure that she would get blood. She then said she felt comfortable, and then stuck my baby. My baby did not cry right away, she was just wondering what was happening. I had to hold her wrist and shoulder to keep her still. The lady was not getting blood and then proceeded to "dig around" in every direction with the needle and move the needle all the way in and all the way out and continue digging and now my baby is screaming and shaking in pain! She kept going! I told her please stop because you are obviously not getting any blood! She told me she didnt want to stick her again so that is why she's still going...I told her to remove the needle ASAP so we can leave. I am sorry, I am not sure what the standard practice for drawing blood from little children is, but to keep digging for blood while they shake in pain should not be it. This place is an absolute joke! Condescending staff with unwritten rules. So, i checked in at the computer kiosk after standing around for a couple minutes when i entered. No greeting from staff or at least a "Hello, please check in at the kiosk, and we will call you when we are ready for you." Nope, nothing. Just gotta figure it out yourself. Anyways, after i was done checking in at the kiosk, it said in writing, on the screen, to please go where you feel comfortable, and we will text you when it's your turn. So, I sat down in one of the chairs in the waiting room(mind you, this is a small suite, so the receptionist window is right there in front of you) and the receptionist called me up to the window to hand her my id and they'll call me when it's my turn. So now it's getting a little packed in there. Feeling like a pack of sardines. So i stepped right outside the waiting room door to get some fresh air(mind you, it's a full glass door and like 2 big windows that look into a small courtyard that has other offices. The office to the right is a dentist, I don't know what kind the one to the left is, and the exit is straight ahead) Very small courtyard with a tree in the middle. I'd say half of a tennis court. So as time was ticking and I was starting to get hungry, the lady called me from the door. To be honest, I don't even remember how long i was waiting, but enough to the point where my butt started going numb from sitting so long, lol. Anyways, she said, " I'm sorry, but we can't test you because you stepped out of the building," while handing me my id card. I'm like no one told me that and you guys didn't text me that it was my turn. She then proceeded to say, well that's when Covid was really active a couple years ago and we don't do that anymore. I'm like, then why don't y'all change that with your unwritten rules that you are enforcing. She said sorry, you can come back tomorrow and we'll try that again. This bitch playing judge, jury, and executioner of my livelihood. Wth? I just wasted 64 miles in gas to hear this shit? Oh hell to the naw! I needed this test done for employment(mind you, i lost my job in Sept '23 and have been looking for one almost everyday since. I exhausted my savings and now using my credit to pay for my essentials. Bills backed up, rent backed up,had to cut back a whole lot on things, phone about to be cut off, car on the cusp of getting repoed, etc.... If you know, you know. Anyways, I finally had this company that showed interest in me from my resume and completed all the forms they needed from me. All i needed was a background and drug test and this bitch denying me of that! Eff her because she think she all high and mighty. The only pro that I have for this Labcorp location is that I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. However, after two visits to this location, I'm incredibly frustrated at the lack of communication and helpfulness of the front desk staff. On my first visit, they asked how I was paying and when I responded "HSA," they informed me they would need to see my card and then asked if I would like the print out receipt to keep as record to show the charge was a qualified medical expense. Based on this interaction, I had assumed everything was taken care of and that I was squared away. On my second visit, upon checking it, the system informed me that I could pay at the check-in station, so I did. Later, when I was called to the front desk staff's desk, they showed me a balance and asked if I wanted to pay today or be invoiced. I explained that I had already paid at the check-in station. When she told me that what I had paid for was my last visit, I explained that they had taken my card and had billed me last time. She explained that I wasn't billed, so neither of us were sure why she took my card. In addition, they showed additional labwork requested outside of the lab orders that I had picked up from my doctor. I was unaware of anything additional, so perhaps that's an issue with my doctor, but they weren't able to explain to me the difference between the tests. Throughout all of my interaction with her, she was unhelpful and rude-- seemingly frustrated with me for having questions and wanting to understand my billing before I shelled out additional money for something that I may have already covered. However, the male employee who did my blood work was very nice and helped me feel a little better. He was personable and tried to give me some information about the other test that was ordered that I was unaware of. read more

Most condescending and passive aggressive staff. I came in for a drug screening and TB test at 1045a and the front desk guy told me I couldn't take my TB test (My bag was stolen along with my wallet and ID), but that I could take my drug screening. Didn't communicate it to the other staff and ended up taking my TB test anyway, and not my drug screening. The other guy who took my blood for TB test was very aggressive and I ended up developing a massive bruise on my inner arm due to him squeezing my arm. (And I mean, SQUEEZING. I've gotten a TB test and my blood has been drawn multiple times so I understand that they're instructed to apply pressure, but this was unlike any other.) Since I couldn't take my drug screening according to the front desk guy, I decided to go to a different location in Pinole, where the staff was much nicer and welcoming. Don't expect to come here on a nice day. It's probably equivalent to going to the DMV, except for some reason, they're much crankier. read more

There is one lady here every time who has THE WORST attitude of anyone I come into contact with. Recently I have had to go in for regular screenings, and this lady slamming things and short with her responses and cuts you off while talking, does it to coworkers too. She even told me they would be open on a holiday recently because she didn't listen to my question. She just seems so inconvenienced by me and her job. God for bid I was afraid of blood or needles on top it. When no one is waiting they are speedy but if there are people ahead it seems to take forever. The 3 stars...is for Sherissa. She wears a smile and is complimentary. Just all around pleasant. I am switching to Kaiser Jan 1 so I won't have to deal with the other lady ever again, but they should have more Sherissa's! I'm so happy Labcorp is in town. Clean efficient and comfortable space. They offer appointments or walk in without any and you can just sign in and be taken in in order of arriving. They are cheaper than the lab at the Queen by far. Open at 7 am till 4 pm and don't close for lunch which is helpful for those of us that work. Staff is always friendly and upbeat, which is helpful when you're fasting and haven't had any coffee. read more

I have never had a good experience getting a blood draw because my veins are thin and hard to find. Ruben who works at this facility is amazing. Not only does he get it (the vein) on the first poke but is a really nice person who has excellent Classical Guitar music playing in the background (his own choice). Another important note is that I have never had to wait for more than a few minutes. I sure hope that the Labcorp company takes care of their better employees because this man is a real keeper.
