This is the grossest place I've ever had my blood drawn. The waiting room is tiny, dingy, and packed with sick people because they take walk-ins along with appointments. It feels outdated and unsanitary. The receptionist was harried but polite, but honestly, the fact that she and the phlebotomists are forced to work in such a cramped, depressing space is unhealthy and downright disrespectful to them. The only reason I'm giving this dump three stars is because of Chris, the absolute gem of a phlebotomist who works there. She's smart, funny, and hands-down the most professional phlebotomist I've ever met. She actually made the whole miserable experience fun. LabCorp, pay this woman more! And while you're at it, stop being a bottom-line-obsessed, corporate nightmare and invest in your patients and your employees. How hard would it be to enlarge the waiting room, slap on some paint, and throw in a couple of plants so it doesn't feel like a forgotten corner of a mental hospital from the '80s? Impossible to make an appointment for a simple blood test. The computer access was frozen for two days. And any phone number I was able to access led be back to the frozen appointment scheduling. As an alternative I contacted Quest a testing facility in Petaluma where I live. I was able to access a phone number over the internet. I called the number and was quickly connected to a human who was able to answer my questions, re availabe appointments, and insurance coverage. I will be staying away from labcorp. read more

Now I'm 79 and Pamela was the gal that pulled the samples. She was very personable. And even better she was one and done with finding the vein. Very rare. 10 stars I came in with the printout of my requirements so 10 mins early to make sure that the person that was taking the sample had time to do the admin stuff. Clearly, high scores is not a concern of this business! After showing up twice during office hours to find the business closed, I finally arrived & the doors were unlocked. The office was full of people. I waited about 15 minutes. During that time I had to listen to the receptionists rude & demeaning interactions with patients. She was a straight up obnoxious b.... Received an email the morning of my appointment that the location would be closed due to staffing. Made another appointment. Again, a few weeks out to find an early morning appointment (fasting). Just received an email that this location will be closed FROM 7/9 until OCTOBER. This is RIDICULOUS. SHAME on you Labcorp. Get it together!! Okay, this has to be the worst experience I've ever had at getting a simple employer requested drug test. I was told that this was the best LabCorp that they send most people too. I received an email with an attachment from a Quest lab slip that LabCorp in Napa was clossst to me. I tried getting an appointment but the earliest is on Tuesday (5 days out) I decided to use their online link to find an alternative place which I was told over the phone after confirming they do drop-ins was in Fairfield, CA. I go there and the barcode doesn't work. The guy called the number on the slip and it looks like Napa was my best bet, but since I had been told verbally by my potential employer that Petaluma was a good option I go on the LabCorp website and was able to make an appointment today within an hour and a half and it clearly had the selection. For drug urine test n the appointment. So when I get here early after driving from Fairfield to Petaluma only to find out that they no longer do drug tests here and these ladies have been saying this for months and almost a daily occurrence with people in my same frustrated situation and LC HR and or management do nothing to direct the website maintainer to do a simple update to remove these options then I think it's either incompetence or willful mismanagement of resources. I've spent hours driving and gas money and now told that the one in Santa Rosa will do it, but they close at 3pm??? Yeah, you guys need to fix your crappy system so that employers (your clients) don't look foolish and lose employees who are frustrated with all this wasted time and money!!! Zero stars. They suck. Made an appointment online, received confirmation via text and email. Showed up 15 minutes early as instructed but could not check in using link provided. The door was locked with no answer. I was finally able to find a customer service number and left a message. Next was able to locate an 800 number, and after waiting 10 minutes was able to speak to a CSR who was unable to internally contact with LabCorp customer service. I made an appointment so I wouldn't need to wait around after blocking out my work calendar. Unfortunately I was forced to go to LabCorp by my primary care doctor for routine blood work. If you want to do an important test, DO NOT GO HERE. They may take many days for a simple blood test results to show up. I'd give negative rating if I could. There is no lab in the bay area. They ship samples to San Diego, for tests that can be done in ANY OTHER place. And by the time it takes, it seems someone may be driving their with your blood? Horrible service. The voicemail doesn't tell you that they only do employment screens from 8-11am so I showed up the first time at 2pm and got attitude when there was no one in the place and not one sign in since 115pm?! Front door is broken and you have to slam it closed or almost pull a muscle to open it. Express check in system is broken. Person just walked in and pointed it out that that thing is broken...employee goes yeah. Hand sanitizer so you don't have to touch it needs 3 new C batteries so that's broken and hasn't been fixed. They just put a solution on the counter. Exposed electrical outlet. I just picked the closest location but I think the company needs to know how mismanaged this office is. read more

LabCorp Petaluma. When I call they said they had the doctors order. I showed up. The phlebotomist took my blood and I picked up my stool sample equipment. The next day I turned in my stool sample, personally handing it to the guy in one of the testing rooms. LabCorp lost that sample. After at least 10 days, LabCorp said the order was canceled. My physician checked and the whole sample was missing. As far as my blood draw site, I had a hematoma at that site that was as big as a walnut or close to golf ball size. I showed my doctor's office and told him I would never,ever go back to that lab. Do yourself a favor and do not use this lab. PS my friend also had a large hematoma at her draw site from the same lab! I give this lab a one because there is no place for a zero in order to have my review posted. read more

Person in front is rude, uncaring, adversarial and condescending. Waiting room very tiny with long wait so on your feet 30 minutes even with a cane. Conversations so loud in this tiny space it makes a person want to run out screaming! Entire families show up taking up seating in itty bitty waiting area. Been there 5 times and they still did not have my insurance on file, but in honesty I have walked out 2 outa 5 times and will never return. I found the entire thing so unprofessional and repulsive, I even took the time to write this review! Go elsewhere is my advice. read more

Had a terrible experience as a professional this is unacceptable if you don't like your job quit, and you should leave and find something that doesn't make you miserable. No help at all, excusatory and dismissive. Went in to resolve insurance billing issue and turned away with no help and a $1300 bill for a simply metabolic panel that was done. This an unacceptable way to communicate with your community me being in the medical field not ok at all ! Im blown away how terribly I was treated!!! I use to think they were the best. No more they are close without notice for days:week. They have appointments swear they will be open and you show up only to find out they aren't open. They need to staff Petaluma for all of the people who need them. Novato or Santa Rosa are not options for a lot of people. If you allow scheduling on line then you be there and opened. If you aren't going to be there have the decency to call people. We have counted on you for years. Not anymore until you get it together. read more

Zero stars if I could. It was my first time here today and I was basically thrown out the door because I didn't have an order for my lab work. I was under the impression Labcorp was under the umbrella of Providence so they could easily look up orders, not the case obviously. The website and appointment scheduler needs to highlight that. However, the woman at the front desk made me feel so stupid that I didn't have an order. She didn't let me finish my sentences to explain why I was there (cheaper for my insurance) and tried to show her my ongoing lab work in the Providence app. "For OBVIOUS reasons I can't take that information from your phone" ..." OK so what do I need to do?" She slaps a business card down with the fax number, telling me I need to my call doctor's office and have them fax the order over. My doctor's office is very small and busy all the time, I didn't want to wait for that. So, she pushed me out the door like I was nobody with no appointment. Obviously she hates her job, but there is no excuse to be rude to first timers. The approach could have been so much better. Never again. read more

I went in today to get Some general testing done. The woman behind the counter was very friendly. When she took my blood she did a great job. I usually have anxiety to get my blood taken. Everything felt very calm. I needed multiple vials of blood drawn and I did not even feel her swap out the tubes. Overall it was a good experience and I was in and out of there within about 15 to 20 minutes. read more

I used Labcorp in Rohnert Park and was happy with their service until they closed a couple years ago, when they moved to Walgreens in Cotati. When I went there last week the sign said they were "temporarily closed". A Walgreens clerk said they were seldom open, even though their website didn't indicate that. So I made an appointment at the Lynch Creek Petaluma Labcorp, which was confirmed at least 3 times by email and text, as late as this morning. Of course when I arrived there was a sign on the door saying they were "temporarily closed" and the closest location is in Santa Rosa. To say I was pissed hardly describes it! Unfortunately there's no competition if you're not a member of Kaiser or Sutter. What the hell is going on? Will be sending a letter to their corporate CEO in No. Carolina! read more

At my appointment, I handed over 4 sheets of properly prepared lab orders for 9 blood tests and a complete lipid profile. When the technician took only 3 vials of blood, I questioned how that could possibly be enough. She assured me she knew what she was doing. She didn't. They only ran 4 of the 9 tests and also skipped the lipids. I am irate that I have to re-do the whole process to get this blood work done -- and I am definitely going to take the new lab orders to a different lab. read more

Labcorp phlebotomists are NOT trained to use the much better butterfly method of drawing blood. I am a 76 year old medical physician who has used butterflies for more than 50 years. It is much more superior and effective than syringes which can run right through a vein. I had this problem with Quest. If this doesn't change for me, I will go elsewhere. Unbelievable...the butterfly is incredibly easy to use to get in a vein almost every time... read more

This location is insisting on keeping the door closed to a small waiting room with no ventilation. I opened the door to ventilate and the tech at the desk asked to close it. I said I didn't want to wait in an unventilated room and she instructed me to go outside, and proceeded to close the door with two older people and herself inside. Opening the door for ventilation is better during covid. read more

I've been coming this place about a year. I really like the staff, they are nice and professional. The only issue is the building is small and feels a little run down. Being pregnant and waiting with no A/C during the summer can be very uncomfortable along with other people like my grandma who has diabetes. read more

I had a mixed experience here with my child. We had an appointment and were there and checked in with a few minutes to spare. We were surprised that two customers without appointments were taken in before us (one even asked if my child could go first). We finally got in fifteen minutes after our scheduled time. We started with one phlebotomist who made no effort to smile at or connect with my child. My child was understandably nervous and worried and needed someone with patience and a supportive demeanor. The other phlebotomist, Joyce, popped her head in a few times (each time speaking nicely to and connecting with my kid) and finally she took over. Her gentle encouragement and patience were what took the blood draw to a successful finish. Both phlebotomists are good at the blood draws but if you have a kid, be sure to request Joyce! I hope it was just a fluke that the people without appointments were taken before us even though they were there a few minutes before us, we had a scheduled time and we were ready. Verdict is out on that. But Joyce for the win! read more
