When it comes to details I'm an absolute psycho. That is one of my toxic traits. I see EVERYTHING, every scratch, every scuff, if something is uneven by 00000.1 millimeters somehow I will see it! So construction is not exactly a walk in the park with someone like me After doing tons of research we decided to go with Aasif and Ron. They came in with a competitive quote, and even though they were not the lowest quote, I liked them the most, and immediately trusted them the most as well. Now after working with both of them, I can safely say they are both salt of the earth type of guys. Honest, PATIENT, hardworking, fair...I could go on and on. They are genuine, caring, and value their customers, truly. They told me it would take eight weeks to complete the project, we were done in FIVE! Every step of the way they held my hand, and walked us through the process. Construction can be stressful and it's inevitable hiccups will happen, but if you're going to be in the trenches, trust me when I say you want it to be with Aasif and Ron. Anyone that gets to work with them is fortunate. With all the horrific construction stories we've all heard, that's not something you have to worry about with these guys (in my experience). From bid, to design, to construction and finished project, this company was professional and delivered above and beyond every expectation I hoped for. Assaf Labi, the owner, was hands on from concept to installation, making recommendations on style of cabinetry, tile, backsplash and flooring. His knowledge of construction, remodel and commitment to quality and customer support was very impressive. It was very reassuring to have someone that not only knew construction/installation but also had a great eye in design as well. What I appreciated was that during construction, Assaf would come to the site almost every day to make sure everything was running smoothly. We just finished our home renovation project with Labi builders and are very satisfied customers! When we made the decision to remodel our kitchen and powder room several months ago, we set out to find a competent and dependable contractor. After having a few disappointing meetings with different contractors and designers, we grew frustrated and were ready to delay our project. The contractors we spoke to did not provide clear information around timelines or budgets and were insistent on certain things that needed to be done that my husband and I had not budgeted for. During our first meeting, Assaf actively listened to our desires and requirements. I was pleasantly surprised when later that same day, he emailed a very detailed breakdown of each item and the associated costs. This ultimately instilled our confidence in hiring Labi Builders to do the job, and we were off to the races! Assaf laid out a detailed schedule based on our scope of work, which we did expand along the way. We had workers at our home every day, always arriving on time and with a very pleasant demeanor. Assaf assured us that the worksite would be cleaned up each day and his workers upheld that promise. When we were looking for a contractor to redo our kitchen, a friend referred us to Assaf at Labi Builders and we couldn't be happier with the results. The process of searching for an affordable contractor post-COVID was a nightmare. The quotes we received were astronomical and all over the map in terms of pricing. Thankfully, Assaf came in at a price that felt fair without having to cut corners. He was upfront about where there may be overages so there were no surprises later. We also liked the fact that he was available to start right away and to accomplish the job in a reasonable timetable. He promised to have the job done in under 8 weeks and the majority of the work was done in 6 so he actually beat his own estimate. These guys are FAST. Most importantly, the communication was top notch. We always knew what Assaf and his team would be doing each week and at the end of the week we would go over what had been accomplished. The entire on site work took about 2 weeks, this including removing all the old concrete and other old materials up until the installation of the new deck. For this project, they completely gutted a bathroom in a 100-year-old house and did a major remodel on the kitchen and new flooring, lighting, and paint throughout. From the beginning, Assaf was responsive and professional. He submitted and stuck to a very reasonable budget for all the different aspects of the project. He gave an estimate of the time it would take to complete the project, and he delivered without a hitch. He helped me with some of the design elements for the project, and then referred me to very high-quality vendors for all the materials. He helped me select what would work best for the space and secured discounts from all the vendors. Last year my husband and I decided to remodel our garage and convert it into an ADU as our family was growing and we were looking to add more living space for our growing family. A few contractors came out and offered their ideas, some were cheesy, some were crooks and some were nice, but when my husband and I met Assaf with Labi Builders, we knew right then and there that we found our guy. Going through construction is stressful and picking the right contractor is even more stressful.
