I am following up after completion of my project. I must say I am a very satisfied customer as my project turned out exactly as I had requested. Mike from MNM delivered everything he promised. I will say there were a few bumps along the road to get there however the end result was perfect and exceeded my expectations. I would recommend MNM to complete your project and would use them again if/when the opportunity presents itself. A few things to keep in mind: 1. Make sure you understand the contract and what is included and NOT included. This led to many frustrating conversations between us as nobody likes a surprise. 2. If you have never worked in the construction industry, hire a project manager to help navigate thru all of the challenges you will have to work thru. Because I had project management experience I did not hire a PM, however this made for a few days of frustration. Keeping in mind Mike listened to me and we worked thru ever circumstance, fairly and equitably to both parties I would say. 3. Have regular check ins with the team. By straying in daily contact with the team helped keep the project moving, I believe. 4. If something does not seem right call and talk it out. After speaking with Mike daily (if needed) he would understand what my concerns were and would do all he could to keep us all on the same page. Juan and the installation team required direction occasionally and we would often not agree, but when I would call Mike and he would work it out each time. So to sum the whole experience up I would say this. Construction is not a easy task to do, however MNM delivered. The entire project took about 8 months of construction to complete. This was a bit longer then expected, however I was not a easy client and made sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. MNM had everting needed to complete my project with architects, structural and office staff to pull the permits and schedule inspections. Having just 1 phone # to call to have everything completed was perfect for me. MNM did it all which made the overall experience perfect for me. I called MNM back years later to do our dining room: walls, ceiling, lighting, arched kitchen entry, and engineering to widen the view window...to 9 ft! The good: Eden from MNM is a sweetheart. Her design, materials selection, and 3D render were all great. The team started work in less than a week and when things got dusty (drywall) they were good about using plastic sheeting to minimize dust in surrounding rooms. They honored every part of the contract and even accommodated my request for extra stucco work after a plumbing emergency. The bad: it took a freakin year! After the initial rush of activity, there were multiple long delays. Some of this could be because RPV city had their hands full with the Portuguese Bend landslides, but that doesn't excuse 10 months. There was nearly no on-site supervision of the craftsmen. Strange men just showed up and did stuff to our house with inconsistent communication from MNM. And I had to pay $1,500 in engineering, inspection, & permits not in the original estimate. Our new dining room looks very nice. It's all that we wanted. Except it took nearly a year to get it done. Not great. read more

I hired MNM home remodeling to install a motorized gate, slop my backyard, remove an iron gate from the alley, do some iron work in the front of my house and remove shrubs from the old gate MNM Home Remodeling sent me the first contract it was incorrect, They sent a revised contract was missing aggreged upon work the third contract was correct sent and signed the loan company. The contractors received approval for the loan on 10/11/2024 the loan is about to expire in 14 days today's date is 2/6/2025 now the contractors are yelling and getting aggressive because I won't sign the extension for the loan. The loan company forwarded me a copy of the contract that was submitted it was the original paperwork that was not correct. MNM Remodeling did an amazing job on our first home. I am unsure on how others have had a bad experience, because I have had nothing but the best time working with them. My partner and I were first time home buyers, and we finally closed on our first home ever earlier this year. We bought a fixer in need of some major work, and we are so happy we found MNM Remodeling. For context, we replaced the old plywood siding with stucco, got 9 new windows and 2 new sliding doors, added a fresh coat of exterior paint, had a new water line installed for the fridge, and added some exterior lights. A ton of work, but nothing MNM remodeling couldn't handle; everything went smoothly, and I am extremely happy with the not only the results, but the process as well. The owner, Mike (Maimon), personally came to look at the house to scope out a plan and come up with a quote. Mike is extremely knowledgable, and most importantly, HONEST - a hard thing to come by nowadays. For example, we needed new windows, and the previous owners had already done one window in the master bathroom. Mike saw this, took note, and said we didn't need to get that window replaced so we could save some money. It seems small, but all other contractors would just nod their heads and take the cash, but not Mike with MNM Remodeling, he truly wants what is best for the home owner. The quality of the work cannot be understated, Mike and his team did an excellent job. The quality of the stucco is top notch, the windows have already made a huge difference in our home, the paint job brings our home into the modern era, and his team took meticulous care when installing new electrical work to add some exterior lights. If you talk to Mike, he will tell you that "he is one phone call away", and that is absolutely the truth. During the remodel, we discovered a leak in our second floor restroom and Mike himself came over and helped to fix it. When we ordered a fridge we noticed that the counter top was installed crooked and our fridge would not fit, I gave Mike a call and he had it handled right away. It was small things like this in addition to all the amazing work Mike and his team did that will have me coming back for anything I need done on the house. The final result is beautiful, but the process was absolutely painful. I wouldn't hire MNM Remodeling to change a light bulb. Ohad visited our home in April and gave us a great proposal for our kitchen remodel. He's knowledgeable, but he's also silver-tongued. Very few of his assurances came true, and he was so distracted managing other projects that crucial and obvious 'order-of-operation' mistakes were made on our job that cost us valuable time. The Beginning: City Permitting for our non-structural kitchen redesign took a staggering 7.5 wks to get submitted and approved. While the City of Calabasas can be notoriously difficult, we expected this process to be navigated efficiently by experienced tradesmen. Instead, we were given excuses for repeated delays and obstacles that were somehow surprises. Days of communication were also lost due to 'family illness' and Ohad's birthday. The Middle: After demo began, mold was discovered and the project timeline was put on hold while that was rectified. We're grateful that Ohad expedited remediation/testing/clearance with a friendly company, but none of this downtime was used to bring us samples of flooring, cabinet handles, countertop slabs or backsplash as promised. (We were left to go select these on our own from showrooms/housewares stores. Still, they weren't ordered 'til wks later, at the last min, and in incorrect amounts: both too much and too little.) We also elected to add a bit of extra work to the invoices. Then "sorry, this is construction" delays came up regularly: expected work days turned into last minute no-shows without explanation, a significant communication error was propagated down the line of vendors, etc. Two deaths of workers' family members and one birth disrupted the schedule, too. For keeping an eye on the calendar and noting the reliability of crews, I looked like a compulsive micromanager. Yet, Ohad would show up irregularly (for a check) and miss crucial inspection details. (Despite interim reminders from me on the state of affairs, he'd be surprised by hurdles days later.) When vendors showed without necessary materials or without a complete understanding of their tasks, my patience wore thin. As Ohad lied to me about work being diligently done behind the scenes, I was assured that he and his team were "bending over backwards" to accommodate me. I felt like trust had been broken, and that our project wasn't receiving enough attention. The End: After submitting final payment on final inspection day, I was pressured to sign a "Completion Certificate'' acknowledging that all was satisfactory. I signed the page with contingencies, since minor work was still outstanding. Thankfully, the project electrician was raced back onsite to re-do Isaias' shoddy work and polish things off by 8:00pm. 8:00pm. On the *last* day, *after* final payment and signatures. This last minute haste is representative of how things were generally accomplished for us. Though not expressed in words, it was clear that our job simply wasn't big or important enough to receive full attention, and I felt that I was constantly scrambling to get boots on the ground to finalize or rectify things. Also, for any additional side work (minor tasks not in original bid), instead of making an official invoice through the company, Ohad pressured me to cut a check for about $3,400 DIRECTLY TO THE FOREMAN. This number generated was arbitrary, and he argued that he was doing it "in my benefit" because the total would've been higher if it went through MNM (requiring a profit margin). Foolishly, I accepted this and now believe I overpaid and was swindled. This shady practice - on the final day - is also indicative of how Ohad operates. He and his "partner in crime," Isaias, act polite and cheerful until you hand them a check, then they have to sprint out the door. Conclusion: The final looks nice. Each vendor did decent work, but the entire project (incl. extra tasks) was so poorly managed by Ohad that I can't recommend signing on with MNM. Unexpected last-min delays with or without explanation (but usually without) meant that the project could have been completed sooner. (And if I hadn't been aggressive about "managing him," things would have taken even longer.) On the final day, when the last payment was handed over and I was pressured by Ohad to sign the "Completion Certificate," there were still outstanding issues, albeit small ones. This is not the "sigh of relief" conclusion to a stressful project that I wanted, and while I do agree that Ohad made certain accommodations for us along the way, the journey was too painful to consider MNM for any future work. Hopefully this review may serve as a warning: those who respect adherence to a schedule and quality control along the way will be let down by the management of this company. More flexible homeowners may get along with MNM just fine, depending on their project needs - esp. if they're not living on-site, as we were. read more

Communication w/MNM remodeling is nearly impossible. 2 yrs ago, we had our roof redone by MNM. This year we decided to upgrade to Solar power, thought we should check if there was any problem doing that regarding the warranty on our roof replacement. We never received the written warranty for the roof replacement. 3/14 my husband left voicemail & emailed MNM production dept also texted the owner/Amir; he needed warranty info for the roof we had replaced. Via text 3/15 Amir said he would check when he's in the office 3/17. No response! My husband followed that with a voicemail & email; text to Amir 3/17 & 3/18. 3/18; he received a text from Amir he would check on it the next morning. That was the last he heard from anyone at MNM. We got the info by contacting the subcontractor of MNM who did the roof work. The lack of response is absurd & unacceptable for a paying customer who never received the written warranty. Wow. What a project. We found out we needed to repipe, so we looked into remodeling all the wet rooms. The guys found mold, which they remediated. The HVAC quit a week in (in July) and the earliest replacement I could find was late August, so I asked the guys and I had an amazing completely new system in 3 days. I am only giving a 1 because I can't give anything less. This company and the entire staff from the owner Mike to office manager Eden, to Project manager Noam are the most unprofessional, unethical and unreliable company you will EVER come across. They started our project in mid December a room addition of 400+ sqft and some work inside the home ( flooring, stairs and some upgrade) kitchen was suppose to be done but Mike the owner decided it was going to cost him too much and it was cheaper for them to back out of that portion of the contract. They have been on my project since December 2021 and are still here working, which is now approaching 7 months. They are of course very friendly and nice when they are trying to get the job but once the work starts and the job starts to move along they find ways of delaying work, with of course an excuse as to why no one shows up for weeks at a time and this occured pretty much every month they are in my home. And the best part is that they ask for payments when they haven't been at the house during those weeks. All payment for them are " on start of job" not completion of work because they collect the funds and then take forever to complete that project you paid in advance for. They have left my house with piles of trash for weeks at a time instead of cleaning up after each day the excuse is it's a construction site it's going to be messy. They left my house in habitable for weeks at a time. Tearing up stairs and flooring and then not having the items needed to complete the job for a few weeks. My stove was removed and new one not installed for days and we are a family of 6 so imagine eating out all meals with a family of 6, which was obviously no concern for them. Now, when i call to discuss an issue they actually turn the issue onto me, as if I were the reason for the lack of work being done or the changing of colors for paint, mind you this is our house and God Forbid we decide to go with a different color and if i did decide to then I have to pay extra. But I also paid for ALL materials being installed. So keep in mind you are really only paying for the labor, we have to purchase sinks, nozals, tile, paint, door handles, toilet, tub, shower heads, everything. They speak very aggressively and demanding and expect you to speak to them as if they are the superior of you. When I told Mike the Owner I hired you the response was you're not my boss and they are not my employees. Yet they signed a contract they receive payment for service so I would say yes I am the boss and yes you do work for me. Mike the owner is very very rude and blames the customer for the issue his company makes. The office manager Eden has stated many times that she was dealing with the subcontractors when trying to correct errors on their end but in fact when I follow up with the 3rd party they hadn't spoken to her nor anyone in the company. When I have conversations with Noam the project manager he says yes no problem and then afterwards will say No he never said that. So they really have no problem calling the homeowner a liar. BEWARE if you hire them, I wouldn't wish them onto my worse enemy, no one deserves to be held hostage in their own home. And yes they are still here working as of July 7th and have been unable to resolve a vanity error on their end for a month and still don't have a date to correct it. We met Mike (as we call him) 6 years ago for a consultation on kitchen remodeling, but ended with additional central air system and total re-tiling our pool. We liked his style, work ethics, promised work schedule and frankly his personality. I was dealing with the owner, but I can't remember his name. I told him communication was essential if we were going to work together. We applied for a loan to cover to cost of the construction., and I made it very clear that no work was to start until we were approved. I went out of town and my son calls me to say there were workers at my house starting the job. I called the owner, the partner he brought when he gave me the estimate, and the office. The office kept telling me someone will get back to me. No one did. It was the last day to cancel the contract, so I emailed them and cancelled the job. Miraculously my phone starts blowing up. The owner said he was not feeling well and could not call me back. The other red flag was that the owner also told me that all the work would be done by his "in house" workers. That was not true. I researched for a while for a company to tackle a permit driven remodeling project, and I had more than one company say they weren't interested! Ohad from MNM came and not only was he extremely professional and amenable, but so honest about what the project was really going to entail and the kids of costs I would be looking at. No he didn't sugar coat it. He was straight up, which is what I needed! Abs he was realistic about that time it would take, and we're still in it because the city is taking forever! In the meantime we're doing my bathroom over and it is GORGEOUS and the crew has been so professional, clean and efficient.
