Carcassonne

We stumbled upon this spot after searching for board game cafes in DC. I was originally bummed that it seemed like there were none to be found, however, this spot is like an unofficial free board game cafe! If they don't have any other event going on, you're able to play any of their demo board games for free. They have a lot of seating and tables in the back. My fiancé and I loved this board game store. They had a great selection of board games as well as a section for kids and puzzles. It was huge. There were plenty of people there able to answer any questions you may have about games. We got off at the Eastern Market metro. It was a quick walk from there. We had an incredible Sunday at this spot. They have a gender neutral single bathroom here. Games are reasonably priced. We played Carcassonne, a game we've been trying to play for year. I highly recommend visiting this amazing store.

The employees are clearly doing what they love, and this cool store has a huge selection of interesting gifts. You can try most of the games and toys out too! They offer after care for kids in the summer, and put in good effort to help everyone enjoy the time.

First time visitor. Online shows product and available. After entering the store the "Pokemon" showcase was empty. After asking if they had anymore available I was treated with unnecessary sarcasm. Being out of stock is fine especially considering how popular Pokemon is right now. The sarcasm was not needed and very unwelcoming. & asking the coworker to grab more from the back to stock singles definitely did not help.

Friendly greeting.

Labrinth sponsored a wonderful game room at the Awsome Con's 10th Anniversary. So many games to choose from. Deadpool settled on Seven Dragons. He said he diffinately wanted to add it to his collection.

We were looking to add to our game collection and, on a whim, stopped in at Labyrinth Games & Puzzles. Wow. The collection of games and puzzles in their store was quite impressive! The staff is super friendly and helpful. We talked to a staff member who was highly knowledgeable and recommended a few games based on what we were looking for. We ended up buying both of his recommendations and have no regrets about our purchase.

So many dice!

More specifically, this store has people that apparently love comics. Don't get them started. Really... don't get them started. They will tell you more than you ever needed. Nah... Get them started, you'll probably end up finding something else you want to read or collect. They explained how to read the sku to identify the different releases and where this particular one falls. If it's the original or a variant. How to find missing volumes. I started specifically because of Sam Wilson: Captain America movie release so that's that I started on. I didn't know it would be such a short ride. However, they have been helping me catch up on Luke Cage so that's what I'm reading this summer :-). The odd thing is, I've only seen 2 kids in here. Ever time I go in, there are nothing but full grown adults looking for their own literary magic. IDK if they don't have kids or if they just said ... them kids. It's a great place for me time.

I sent them an email and within the hour I get a personal phone call back from Aubrey, the sweetest, nicest, most genuine person, they explain the situation and just having a little hiccup, they go above and beyond and refund the 2nd half, and help me feel better about the mistake. I can't thank them enough but they have gotten a repeat customer. These people have my business and I hope the boss sees how amazing Aubrey is and how great she is at handling customers. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
