You really can't tell how lovely this store is inside from the outside! I was assisted right away, overall the fitting was very comfortable and helpful. There was a great selection of brands and styles for me to try in my size, which I often have difficultly finding at all in chain stores! I went to the Wilton store to purchase bras in February. The woman that helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful. I ended up purchasing four bras for $260. If you purchase bras or anything from this store please keep the tags on when you wear them for the first time. Three of the four bras were fine, but one was defective. The wire did not go all the way up into the cup digging into my chest and leaving a mark. I went to the store showed there and asked her if she could replace it as it was clearly defective and showed her the abrasion. I was told that since I wore the bra that it was their policy that even if it was defective, they could not take it back or do anything for me, but she would contact the owner and they would let me know. It's been almost 3 weeks and I heard nothing from them. I called the company Natori and they will not honor it either since Lace Affaire is "an outside retailer/store they are not liable" and they just offered me a discount on a new one. I could not have known that it was going to dig into me from just trying it on in the store, but I found out after wearing it for a few hours so buyer beware and keep the tags on your bra or you will be SOL for $68. read more

I went into this store for the first time today. I walked around for several minutes and yelled out a few times but no one emerged from a back room. The store was empTy. Its a shame because I was looking forward to a fitting and buying some new bras. I will never go back. I will never go anywhere else for my bras! Carlene took one look at me and not only told me the bra I had on didn't fit, she then, without measuring me, picked out the perfect bra and the correct size for me. It was magic . I can't believe I have to tug or adjust straps again! PLUS, the unique pieces of jewelry are very reasonable and not seen anywhere else...picked up a ring while I was there too. Quite disappointed...first visit. Bad bra fitting which I had redone at the Candlelight Shoppe in Ridgefield. Following the policy stated on the receipt I return for a full refund within the appropriate time frame. To date no refund to my account despite multiple calls and lack of response from owner. There was an issue with their system as per the sales associate who had difficulty the day of return. Not a great first impression nor the way to do business. I waited to post to see if the owner would respond...but no. Planning on spreading the negative word! read more

They have all of the great brands I usually buy online, but are nowhere to be found otherwise. Usually I can't find my size in stores, but they had mine available at the store. Good customer service. What you'd expect from a small boutique. Lots of other items available other than bras. All very cute! read more

I stopped in this store on the way to visit my mother who lives in a assisted living facility up the block. She was in need of bras. I thought this is perfect because of its location, but I better check it out first since my mother isn't easily transported and Connecticut seems to conduct business in a haphazard manner I am not familiar with! If it checked out I would return with her to be fitted. No such luck. I walked into an empty store and called out a few times before I heard footsteps overhead at which time the coldest, most indifferent sales person appeared. I am a man. She eyed me suspiciously while I explained my ignorance and need for assistance, but never she never softened. Possibly she doesn't like men. I don't know, but my mother's need and the store's location allowed me to overlook the rudeness. I explained my mother's proximity to the store and said we would return momentarily. At that time I was told they were having a meeting that would close the store. When I asked for a little cooperation I was given only a short window of time to return otherwise I would find the doors locked. What retail operation has a unannounced meeting that shuts down operations during normal business hours (I walked in at 12:30PM on a Wednesday)?! I can't comment on the inventory as I had no propensity to examine it, but I can say the sales person was rude, indifferent, distracted and lacked any empathy for my situation. Even in desperation no one needs that. Furthermore I remain incredulous that I went to the store in the midst of their normal advertised hours only to find them closing. It was a complete waste of time. This is the kind of ridiculous place that makes you angry for having gone and would make you furious at yourself if you were foolish enough to give it a second chance and go back. It seems like the kind of operation that will have strings of ridiculous customer inconveniences based on the lack of professionalism it employs. read more

Went in for bra fitting without appointment on Monday late afternoon & was greeted immediately. A seasoned bra fitter measured me and offered 3 choices, 2 of which I purchased. I did not give 5 stars because the bras are a bit pricey, I was a first time customer (which they determined when I was checking out). It would have been nice to receive a first time promotion. I also felt the selection for larger chest sizes in stock seemed a bit limited. The girl who rang me out, when I asked if they could order me different colors, indicated they could call me "if they came in stock". Overall, I am satisfied with my purchases and will probably shop there again. read more

What a great find! I was in Wilton for a doctors appointment and remembered there was a bra shop in the area, but after asking about it, I was told it went out of business. I quickly googled for bra shops in the area and I was directed to Lace Affaire. Immediately after walking through the door, I was greeted by a friendly, attractive woman who introduced herself as Carline. Carline was so helpful in helping me find a bra to fit my newly reduced breast size; I was so impressed with the selection and service that I purchased 3 beautiful bras. She also carries a stunning selection of clothing, jewelry, bathing suits and sleep / shape ware. The two dressing rooms were occupied, and the 2 sales assoc didn't even acknowledge me for several minutes. I was there for a foundation garment, not a lace affair! After about 20 minutes I was invited to use the bathroom to try the product. I should have left then. Inexperienced fitter tried her best to juggle me and her other customer, and the 2nd associate left the store after finishing with her customer, and left the new associate to ring out both other sales while I waited in the bathroom for more product. Again, I should have left. There was a limited choice of larger bras, and the new associate was not familiar with the stock. Not her fault. As I was paying (after almost 2 hours, 1 bra) Owner appeared from back room. There all the time?? She immediately started helping a new client, so I didn't have the chance to speak with her, but I wrote a letter detailing my disappointment in that experience, and haven't heard a peep. Bra is OK, not perfect. The service and selection is better at the Department Stores, but I tried to support local business. I won't go back, and don't recommend the store. . read more
