If I could give six stars, I would. After being hit by a hit and run driver, I was terrified to see the cost of repairs. After getting estimates from various shops, I stopped by Lacey Collision Center. They beat the lowest offer of another shop by 300 dollars. My car came back to me in better condition than when I had dropped it off. My car was spotless, inside and out, and my new paint looks amazing! I've had to use Lacey collision on 2 separate accounts. Both times I spoke with Joel there, in a time that should be frustrating and troublesome (dealing with repair to a vehicle and more importantly dealing with insurance) Joel went above and beyond to make it inviting, easy and safe. He is confident and very knowledgeable about his work. Then the quality of their work is a league above. I gathered multiple estimates for the repair to my truck from my insurance companies "preferred" vendors and Lacey Collision was better priced by a decent margin. Excellent mechanical skills and customer service. I have used Lacey Collision for two separate accidents in the last few years. The first of which was my first accident ever. The staff talked me through the claims process. Helped me understand what to expect, and took the time to explain what I didn't understand. The process went very smoothly and after the body work was done my car was as good as before the accident. The second accident happened a month ago, in Seattle, I knew I would take my van to them again after my initial experience. I was not disappointed. The other insurance company took forever and the staff at Lacey Collision went beyond my expectations to help me in a hard situation. They worked with my time restrictions and had great turn around with the work my van needed. Very friendly office staff and beautiful building. That being said, I don't think I've ever been more mad at a company before. Made an appointment for an estimate after my car was backed into. Never received the estimate even after checking my spam. Called to make an appointment despite not receiving an estimate and then waited two days before someone called me back to schedule a time. Made the appointment, arranged to borrow a vehicle for the 9 days they needed to have my car and then an hour....AN HOUR before I was supposed to drop off my vehicle, they called to tell me that they don't work on cars with rebuilt titles. I cannot tell you how much time they wasted on my end, coming in for an appointment, waiting and looking for an estimate, trying to schedule a date, and then the amount of shuffling for me to borrow a car, to only be cancelled on at the very last minute. I'm livid that I have to start this process over again elsewhere. There goes three weeks of my life and time with this dent still on my vehicle. read more

Lacey Collision center you should be ashamed of your integrity your service and of your support of Marty Bonham an incompetent adjuster who missed some fairly expensive damages that were on my car. which you tried to pass by as fixed and then Marty had the nerve to accuse us of having damage on the car before the accident which no one pointed out from your shop. You guys stated the car was ready for pick up and there were two long yellow lines on the side of my Blue car, lucky I inspected the car before I picked it up, I refused pick up until these damages were repaired which included the rear bumper replacement . If I would have taken that car that night you would have denied any responsibility, and wanted another $ 500 deductible to fix it, read more

My car had an accident on the side of the road due to weather conditions in January and it was a mess! No one wanted to take my car as my insurance had lapsed and after taking it to Jiffy Lube they didnt want to touch it and sent me to Gerber Collision. After Gerber did an assessment they said it would be around $4,000 and they wouldnt touch it. After being carted between mechanic shops and collision centers, I finally brought my car to Lacey Collision Center, and they were fantastic!!! They knew that I was on a budget and got my car working and fixed for only $300.00. They even spritzed off the outside of my car, organized the inside of my car (which was also a mess) and even provided me transportation to scool when I didn't have a car! Not a good idea to have them do any paint blends... Had them fix the left box of my truck... Body work is ok but I can see where they blended the paint in the middle of the rear door and besides that, the truck is now 2 different colors on the left side... When I took the truck back to have them look at it. The lady said that it's a hard color to paint and they could fix the blend line in middle of the door and I am just seein new clear vs old clear... Not gonna let them mix up ANOTHER batch of paint to start trying to fix a blend now with another color.. The best part is I work in the car restoration business and I get to show a lot of people and tell them where it was "fixed". Word if mouth goes a long way in the car business read more

The people at the front desk are professional and knowledgeable. Now behind those desks it seems to be a different story. I am not sure why. They have the computers, the cameras and all the different repairs garages, but it just doesn't get done right. Are they using teenagers to do the repairs to have a bigger profit margin? Could they just not care? Or maybe they think they are so flushed with work that a "bad job" won't hurt them? I think they need a refresher course in customer service. Though I understand fully that people who write on yelp are really venting and not giving helpful information. If these complaints are true, go to the Owner, the Head Person, something. When I finish this review, I am back off to see them for a repair which was not completed correctly. It was poorly completed! Why? Unknown, but I will find out. Maybe they think their time is more important than mine. What if I charge them by my hourly rate for the extra work I am having to do, just for the simple reason of poor repair. I believe where it stands now, if I did charge them for my time, they would owe me $635.12. I think I will bring that point up. Thank you for reading. read more

Wow! This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have taken my car there twice before and every time I go the front desk is so unprofessional. This is my third time taking my car to them and after getting to their shop to do the estimate and being treated rudely again I decided to shop around. I told the estimator how the front desk is and he told me that he would talk to his manager and convinced me to stay. I agree and call in a few days later to schedule for repairs and was told i could bring my car in on the Monday 16th. When i went to add this appt to my calendar I realized the 16th of September is on a Saturday so i called back and said i think the gal who scheduled me made a mistake because the 16th is on a Saturday not a Monday did she mean the 18th. The receptionist on the phone said "nope its not a mistake she scheduled you for Oct 16th not September" I said really i was looking for your earliest appt, you don't have anything till October? and she reply "nope, we are that good". I said okay... and she immediately jumped in and said "you are more than welcome to take your vehicle somewhere else if you don't want to wait, but i know all the other shops are booked out till October also and their just not as good as us either" I said ok thanks I am aware I can look elsewhere. two hours later i get a call from them again saying they got word that i was going to shop around and so they need me to call and let them know so they can cancel my appt. I called my insurance and told them that I was just not going to go thru them anymore and so they call the shop to let the shop know to cancel and the gal at the front desk says " are you calling to cancel for her?" insurance says "yes" receptionist says "Perfect". My vehicle was taken to Lacey Collision Center after an accident. The front passenger wheel assembly had been partially detached in the accident. There was minimal damage to the vehicle other than the suspension damage. I received a call three days after my vehicle was dropped off by the tow truck, that there had been more damage done to my vehicle while they were working on it. They didn't tell me how the damage happened, but looking at the pictures it is obvious that they tried to drive the vehicle and the wheel that was not attached fell off and the vehicle hit it before hitting the ground. They told my insurance company that the damage was due to the damage done during the accident. They posted pictures of the vehicle sitting on their lot with minimal body damage and the suspension damage prior to them moving it. They also posted the after pictures of it after the damage. There were obvious signs that the vehicle was driven with the detached wheel. I confronted them about the damage and they claimed that it was damage that would have happened no matter what. The tow company was able to move my vehicle over 5 miles, through city streets, and round-a-bouts and had no problem not damaging it. How does a body shop fail at moving it the 200 feet from the lot into their shop? To add insult to the comedy of failure that is Lacey Collision Center's "customer support" They called to tell me that the work for the damage caused by the accident was done 4 days before the car was ready from the damage done by LCC. When I was called and told that my vehicle was ready, I took time off work to come pickup the vehicle. I had to wait for 45 minutes after I got there for them to bring my vehicle out front. When I got in my vehicle the check engine light was on and the climate computer was not working. I had not even been in the vehicle for 2 minutes and it was obviously not fixed. I had to wait another day for their mechanic to look at it. This is after they suggested that I watch it run for a while to see if it cleared the light? NO. I'm sorry, you were paid to fix my vehicle, it is not my job to troubleshoot an error light that was not on when I left it with you. I received a call the next day telling me that my vehicle was ready, and not to worry, the error was because they forgot to plug a temp sensor back in. If they forgot to plug something back in that had a flashing orange light to tell them that they missed it and they still missed it, what else did they forget? The person that had called me to inform me of the damage to my vehicle, and that it was ready the 1st time, and it was ready the 2nd time did not say more than 3 words to me the entire time I was at the collision center. He hid behind the door in the waiting room and handed the paperwork to the front desk workers. I will not ever have another vehicle taken there and would suggest that you look for more honest shops if you need work done on your vehicle. read more
