Primark is an Irish retailer of affordable fashion for men, women and children. Other locations also carry home items, but not the Danbury location. They are very popular across the British Isles as well as several countries across Europe. The Primark in Danbury is part of the Danbury Fair Mall, the good news is you can access it as its own store, no need to go through the mall. This store is massive, there were so many shoes when we first walked in. There's hair accessories, purses and other small knickknacks. The clothes aren't super organized. The hangers are marked with various sizes, but they are actually all random sizes hung on random hangers. This was everywhere, same with the shoes. I am a bit selective when it comes to clothes shopping, I prefer my items to be mostly cotton. Cotton items were difficult to find or non existent at Primark. We spent two hours here and all I found were two items. Keeping in mind that they are a fast fashion retailer, the quality isn't always there. Loose strings, uneven stitching, unavailable sizes are all a part of the gamble. The wait to access a fitting room was surprisingly fast and efficient. The line to check out was long but moved fast, due to several open registers. I'm glad I experienced Primark, while they aren't for me, they might be for you. Marshalls, Target and Amazon are more accessible for me.

In addition to clothes, I have purchased handbags here as well as jewelry of which there is much and most of it is very affordable. Next time you are here and find something you like, look at the price compared to many other places. It just cannot be beat. I used to, many years ago, not like TJ'S as much because it was so hit or miss. I am not saying it is still not occasionally a miss, but chances are if you take some time and look around, nine times out of ten, you will be able to find something. I bought a handbag here..Macy's handbags are usually over 100 dollars and at TJ'S you can find a handbag for around 40. They have a pretty good selection as well. I've been going to TJ Maxx, Marshall's & home goods since forever and always wondered what Sierra was like. There were never any close enough to me but I'm always in CT now and was glad I found this one. If you've never been, they carry a lot of hiking, gym, & outdoor gear but for Marshall's prices. They are very reasonable and also have the best pet section! Tons of reasonable toys and supplies for your fur baby. If you're planning a camping, hiking or outdoorsy trip, this should be your first stop- they have everything and more that you'll need!
