Although there is a coupon on the website for $20-$40 off, they won't honor it. I called the day before and explained the style I wanted (large Senegalese twists) and was told the it would cost $180. When I got there, they asked for payment up front and confirmed that the price was $180. Once I pulled out the coupon Fatima/Fery stated that she couldn't take it because: 1. There was a special for the day & prices were already discounted. 2. After I contested, she said my hair was too long and too thick and that the normal price would be $200. 3. After more discussion, she explained that the shop was taken over by her sister and that because her sister is new, she didn't know the correct prices when I called the day before. Other customers had similar experiences with varying prices while I was there. 2. It took ten hours for large Senegalese twists. I went to another shop earlier this year and got the same style. It only took 5 hrs and that's with one braider. 3. The very next day several braids unraveled and the hair was shedding everywhere. This has to be the cheapest hair I've ever had and the braider was not as good as she should have been. Summary - don't waste your time or money!

I recently thought about going back for a refresh and fortunately their new spot wasn't to far from me. With just an hour appointment, you walk in with a dull smile and out with pearly whites! In my personal experience, the results are indisputable and worth every penny! This new location is inside an unmarked business tower in Arlington proper, in one of those salon suites with a different small businesses in each door. Not hard to find but awfully cozy! John makes the appointment enjoyable with a fantastic bedside manner and service! If you are looking for a quick whitening fix don't hesitate to book! First off, it is the middle of flu season and the hygienist (John) did not have a mask on even though my mouth was wide open (obviously) during this entire service. He was talking to me while applying the whitening treatment, and all I could think about was how many saliva particles were likely being transmitted smh. Then, to make matters worse, he re-used the same gloves after each whitening application(there are three applications in the service); like, gloves cannot be that expensive my guy- smh!! When everything was said and done and the treatment was complete, my bottom gums were white, and he told me that it was just residue from the whitening solution and that it would be gone by the morning. Well, in the morning, the white residue turned into burns; yes, my gums were burnt AND BLEEDING!! I texted their office to bring this to their attention, and as you can see in the message, all they could say to me was "this is normal, it happens a lot, and 'I'm sorry this happened to you.'" I've had my teeth whitened in the past and usually, hygienists apply a barrier to your gums before applying the whitening treatment to avoid these kind of reactions and sensitivities.
