Arrived at Lady Luck today as a walk-in. No took care of me right away and made sure my design was perfectly sized for my leg. He took a lot of time making sure that every millimeter of my tattoo looked perfect and suggested i come back for shading. It was an important memorial tattoo for my mom and I really appreciated his skill and humor. My leg kept involuntarily jerking and he still managed to keep every lane perfect. The price was more than reasonable so I gave him a big tip! Would recommend Noel to anybody if he has been tattooing since 1985! read more

My wife and I were walk ins, and we were able to be accommodated within half an hour which was great. We both got tattoos and were happy with the service. Chair side was pleasant and we chatted away with our Australian artist. We both have multiple tattoos, so we knew the post tattoo care routine. After a couple of days my red ink began to work its way out and I took extra care to keep it from becoming scabbed and infected. I thought it was just my body not handling that color well and it would heal. I thought it was odd that the black healed perfectly, and the red was becoming infected. Now this wasn't isolated only to me. My wife had the same reaction on her arm and only with the red ink, while the black healed beautifully. Very odd indeed as it wasn't isolated only to me. After a week our skin became raised and very painful, so we saw our doctor. I thought perhaps the artist dug too deep and that was the cause of the pain. He prescribed a heavy topical antibiotic and chalked it up to bad ink. Now I'm no expert on tattoo ink, it's shelf life or longevity, but to have two people, tattooed with the same ink, have terrible reactions, have the surrounding tattoo heal perfectly fine, and have two very visible tattoos that look like they were done in my kitchen, is alarming. In hindsight, I wish we would have researched somewhere more reputable. We did a quick yelp check, everything seemed A Ok, so we made a hasty decision and got our work done at Lady Luck. It has now been one month post tattoo. We both still have our sections of red and the red script raised. The color has now turned from a vibrant red to a ruddy red and the script is hard to read. We are still caring for the red while the black healed within days. Eventually it will heal and we will both have to get work done to repair and recolor, if that will even be possible. You can bet that we won't be coming back for that service. The only thing worse than the color of red on our arms is the color of red from embarrassment when people see our tattoos. read more

I have had my last four tattoos done by Angel at Lady Luck Tattoo and I will never use anyone else. Her work is absolutely amazing and I get complimented on my pieces all the time. The shop is great too. Not only is it open and comfortable, it is also very family-friendly. During our last tattoo sessions, my girlfriend and I were visited by a couple friends, including one with a little boy who had a great time hanging out in the kid section. And, as if getting a great tattoo in a great parlor by a great tattoo artist isn't good enough, they let me watch Arrested Development the entire time I was getting it done. I would give LL 5 stars if they did all-white-ink tattoos. That said, I wanted a Hello Kitty tattoo and some older, knowledgable-in-ink friends said to go to Angel. They couldn't have been more right. Granted this was 3 years ago but she didn't seem unfriendly to me. I plan to go back twice this year for 2 more pieces now that I have the money. I was 18 and absolutely terrified; although body mods weren't new to me, ink was. The atmosphere rocks and I think some b horror movie was on to amuse my friends and occupy my mind. Totally sanitary, and nice and roomy so you're not in the other artists' space. The table was comfy. Angel was more than willing to do custom, and she answered all my paranoid-first-time questions. I have been to Evolution Artspace and I prefer LL. I only went to there because I wanted an all-white tat, but I feel prices here are more reasonable and the space isn't as cramped. Writing this has made me itch for the ink I plan to get in June and August. It might not be the closest to home or most convenient, but I love Lady Luck. read more

I don't know what to say. Angel is a master of some kind of tattoo black magic because she conceived and executed exactly what I wanted (but better) in under an hour. I barely felt a thing, and then the tattoo proceeded to be painless and utterly issue free while it healed. I think it peeled all in one day and wasn't itchy at all. I'm still taking care of it, and Angel said she would touch it up if needed, but I think it's going to be fine as is. Despite being a small piece, this is now my favorite tattoo. I went to this studio years ago,and had a horrible experience!!! I got tattoed by the owner and her attitude was awful!!! I probably have over half my body tatted ,have been tattoed by real"tattoists ",and have won quite a few awards, I have even been in a magazine(A two page spread in tabu tattoo!!) As she was tattooing me she actually yelled at me "STOP MOVING" like i said before I have a lot of ""Professional" tattoos and her studio is just plain awful! I've had 3 tattoos done here--one by Chris back in 2007, and two by Noel this year. Like others have mentioned, it is a nice, comfy atmosphere. I couldn't recommend Noel more--his lines are beautiful, and he seems to be a bit of a perfectionist, so I know his work will look phenomenal. I will never go to lady luck again!!! I had a great experience one time when i went there and got a good tattoo from angel on my neck... then last year i went to noel and i got a perdy big tatt on my arm... and durrng the sessioin he had told me to shut up and suffer.... then about a month later i started to notice an awkward yellow puss coming from my tatt at the very top.. i was very concerned.... so i went to the hospital and they said i deff had an infected tattoo.... diagnosed me with cellulitus... so therefore i will never go there and i f i have no other option and HAVE to go there i will NEVER go to noel read more

Went in with my girlfriend for her for her first tattoo of a more then simple 1 inch daisy. Angel seemed very annoyed from the moment we walked in and was not friendly at all. She seemed to disagree with the tattoo idea and doodled it on quickly and carelessly. In the 10 minuets she was doing the tattoo she was making rude remarks about the tattoo choice. When the tattoo was washed and more healed it looked like a 5 year old drew it on. She charged us $60 for her carelessness. I would never let anyone I care about go there. read more
