    Amazing Tiffany lamp

This place is magical! Best vintage store I've ever been to. The merchandise is amazing and the prices are fantastic. And Virginia the owner is so sweet and interesting that she makes the whole thing a delightful experience. I can't recommend this place enough. I will be telling everyone I know about it. I just moved to LA and I'm so grateful that this is one of my first experiences!

We were all over LA looking for one and we found this one in Orange County drove down here not knowing what to expect, well was, I surprised to find not only this shop but many others in this area, but this one was beautifully done. The sales people were lovely, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We didn't find the prom dress, but we did find a great store and we will come back again.

I came here on Wednesday 5/27 and was excited to show this place to another vintage loving friend. We were having a good time selecting pieces and shopping around. I had brought a blouse up to the counter that I noticed was priced as a 2 piece set , but there was no second piece attached to the hanger. I asked the woman at the counter if they knew where it was as I would've gladly preferred the set. She went over to ask the owner and when she came back she said they couldn't sell it until they located the second piece as it was a set. (It was priced as $88) which would've been too high to purchase as a single item anyway. Then she said something that we found completely appalling "unless we don't find the missing piece , you can purchase the top alone for $100) excuse me?? How does that make sense-- it's missing the pantsuit so you want to overcharge me? When we asked how they thought that was fair , she responded with "well it's a really RARE item" and we said it WAS RARE now how do you manage to mark up the price when it's missing the set ?? We both LAUGHED and She said "I'm sorry you feel that way" the audacity of them having a sign outside their shop that reads about supporting community when they demonstrate bad business practices such as this. We thought about putting all of our items back because we thought that was ludicrous on their part. But , we did spend so much time there .. in the end my friend put back a couple items she had planned on purchasing because she was so shocked that they thought that would fly with us ... Just calling something "RARE" does not excuse marking something up on the spot especially after the fact it's actually worth less now that we know it's actually missing a piece. Smh. Because of this we both won't be returning. There are plenty of beautifully curated vintage shops elsewhere who don't have bad business practice. Let me suggest a few other places for you to check out : Jet Rag, space city Vintage, American Vintage, Starday, Avalon Vintage, Sneaky Tiki just to name a few! :)

If you are into horror and such this is definitely a spot you would like. There are a variety of items to purchase here. Some are more run of the mill mass produced items like candles, purses, slippers, books and such. While other items were clearly thrifted and one of a kind or vintage. Very neat to have that kind of a variety. For example you can get a $20 skill candle or a $400 old operating table. See what I mean? It's definitely a great store to browse around. I easily spent 20 minutes just looking between their three rooms. The reason I did dock one star though is that while it was fun to browse, it's not necessarily my kind of merch. To each their own. Even more so I did find some of the prices to be a little high, maybe it's just me. One example I could give was I found a pretty simple necklace with a bat and heart that I've literally seen a hundred times over at Claire's. That necklace easily is about $7 or so, but here they were selling it for $35. I get they need to make a profit but the quality wasn't there and it was giving child's costume jewelry at a more expensive price. Surely they need to make the rent and knowing that a lot of people who come in are more so "just looking around" it makes sense prices need to be adjusted. A final positive to end on a good note is that the staff are absolutely lovely here. There were multiple staff working which I appreciated. Everyone was very very nice and welcoming. I love their passion for this store and enthusiasm. Nice people work here and I'm glad there is a store like this around for those who can truly appreciate what it has to offer.

I could use a couple of suits and thought maybe this place was a possibility. I started looking through my sizes, thinking I'd set a budget of $100. If I walked out with nothing, fine. I came across a navy suit that looked nice. Checked out the label - Brooks Brothers?! How much would that be - checked out the price - $125?? For a BB?? Excitedly kept it and kept looking. Found SUPER sharp dark gray pindot suit. Didnt recognize the maker, price tag was $400. It was awesome but too much. Really happy with my find, went to the counter. $25 over budget but value is awesome. Helpful cashier rang me up. "$34", he tells me. WHAT?? Yeah all suits are 75% off , he tells me. I ran back and grabbed the second suit! Ok $50 over my budget but two awesome suits! Found out the unknown label is a bespoke tailor out of Brooklyn whose pricing is about equal to Brooks Brothers - and it was screen worn by Delroy Lindo (I'm guessing that is why the pricing difference). Outstanding experience and I'll be back on the hunt for more suits and a tux. At those prices? Can't lose.

The prices are insane these days. Everything is marked up to a crazy amount so they can run year long sales and then switch and bait you at the counter.
