For those that are yet to jump on the threading bandwagon, as someone with sensitive skin and scars in my brow this is my go to for brow tidying. This is because the threading method simply uses twisted string to pluck the hairs, so I won't react to ingredients, and the fact that the brow artist is so close and takes only a few hairs at a time means they can be more precise and avoid nasty accidents. Be sure to ask for a loyalty card so you get $4 off your third visit. Also I believe they offer friend referral specials... Which is handy, because at $25 it's not the cheapest place in town, but it's central, quick and you don't need an appointment, so you pay for convenience. As I said, not the friendliest bunch, they will chide you for growing out your brow shape between visits, but deep down they're actually lovely I'm sure... plus they make my brows on fleek.

I can walk off the street on an impulse and not have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Obviously what they specialise in here is eyebrows, but they offer a range of other services too - full face threading, henna tattooing and eyelash and eyebrow dyeing to mention a few. There are often bundled specials too that help you save a bit of cash here and there. And if you get a loyalty card every 10th treatment is free! If you've never had your eyebrows threaded before, basically the stylist uses a cotton thread held in her teeth to wrap around the hairs and pull them out. I'm not going to lie - it does hurt! But I don't think it is any worse than waxing, and the results definitely last longer. They are also able to be more precise as it can target individual hairs. The stylist I usually see is great. She makes sure to discuss what you want before she starts, talking about shape and colour options. She also will recommend the right products to use if you need them (they sell a small range in house) and she is very efficient. I actually look forward to my treatments despite the pain as I always come out feeling and looking great!

The store was quite empty and I now can see why. When I came in, there was no welcome. I was about to get my tattoo done and then another customer came in, and she got immediately served! I waited another 15 mins. The customers eyebrows did look very nice so I was expecting very high of them. I chose my design, and then we negotiated a price: $35 for this tiny design! She told me she would make the design big to make it worth my money but she didn't. It was tiny! And worst of all, the henna looked like a toddler for hold of a crayon and drawn all over my leg! It looked horrible, I hate it! And because it lasts for 3 weeks, I have to keep explaining to everyone about my henna. People keep saying to me " what happened to your leg, it looks really bad!" And I tell them my story. DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS. Go to iBrow studio in the David jones centre for better value. Unless you want to waste your money on a pile of **** on your body, go elsewhere for a henna.

It included a soak, nail filing, hand scrub, massage, and nail polish. It cost $65 for 45 min, which is pretty reasonable if you want the works.
