Fairways and greens are in good condition, but the cart paths are in some disrepair and jar the teeth at times. I have only played it on the weekdays and have never found it crowded. It is a family owned course and the staff is extremely friendly. I travel extensively throughout the USA and this courses layout and condition for the reasonable price is one of my favorites.

You need local knowledge to stay away from all the trouble and potholes that I fell into anyway our group of 40 golfers had a great time and we're gonna come back. I was so surprised that the rates were so low under $40 for 18 holes with a golf cart on Tuesday, I could not believe it.

I have genuinely NEVER experienced anything like this at a golf course. We had six people and specifically booked two tee times with three people each. We called ahead, explained everything, and they knew our plan. Yet from the second we got to the first tee, one of the male employees stood there staring at us, questioning everything we were doing, and treating us like we were already a problem. He complained about our coolers, so we complied. Meanwhile, the group directly behind us had a cooler sitting completely out in the open and he said nothing to them. Then when I went to get drinks, this guy accused us of "plotting and scheming" and even started trying to tell me how to back up and turn a golf cart like I'm not a grown man who knows how to drive. Just unbelievably rude, annoying, and clearly looking for something to complain about. We then let two faster groups play through and had nobody waiting behind us. We weren't holding anyone up. Still, they messaged our carts telling us to split up. I took a photo of it because I thought it was so ridiculous and funny. These losers have nothing better to do but sit in the clubhouse and track our every move. Then another male employee drove out onto the course and immediately came at us with a terrible attitude before we had even said anything to him. We tried to be nice but he quickly made it a hostile argument. He threatened to LOCK OUR CARTS if we continued playing together and literally told us that a different course was where we "needed to be." This is what sent me over the edge. Then, instead of leaving, he stood there watching us tee off on the next hole. At that point it was honestly ridiculous. We paid $70 each to play golf, not to be followed around and treated like a group of criminals. I understand golf courses have rules. What I don't understand is the hostility, selective enforcement, smart comments, threats, staring us down, and treating paying customers like they're a problem from the second they arrive. And the course itself? Extremely mediocre for $70. Take away the mountain views and there is absolutely nothing special enough to justify that price. The woman up front and cart return guy were nice, but the two male employees completely ruined the experience. Awful customer service, overpriced mediocre golf, and easily the worst experience I've ever had at a golf course. Should've spent our $70 somewhere else. According to their own employee, that's where we "needed to be" anyway.

The initial booking interaction with the front office manager was excellent, and she went out of her way to make sure we were familiarized with the property, how to get in and out of the coded gate, and where to find our documents/keys, etc. as we were checking in late upon arrival. The cabin was beautiful, if not a tad outdated in the typical "Gatlinburg mountain-style" motif, and was settled nicely by itself without an immediate neighbor, so we felt very comfortable, secluded, and able to fully relax - the ideal weekend getaway environment! What was even better was the pricing. Our cabin was a 2 bedroom, 3 bath, fully stocked kitchen with all appliances, dishware, silverware, etc, and a living room area with 2 couches, a lounge chair, including a flat panel with tv access, and all across 2 stories. Everything was very well cleaned, the loft area was beautiful, and even had an in-room whirlpool-jetted tub. Everything they said they'd do, they did. Great service, nice location very close to the Fall Creek Falls State Park, and within 15 mins either way of the nearest town for additional options. Overall, we'd most certainly visit here again the next time we're looking for a hike along the beautiful falls nearby!

Some people don't enjoy joining rando's but there was something nice about coming up on 16 at cross creek and letting the guy behind you that's 3 or 4 deep join you for the last few holes. In a place that frankly would have every right to act a bit "full of itself", the staff is professional and has clearly been trained to treat everyone as a "member".
