Things have really changed as far as my experience in the couple of visits that I had with him. I found that my visits with him were very expedited and one time he was about to leave the room, and I said, I have a couple of more questions for you, so he answered those. In subsequent visits he was very rushed too. Then I would not see him at all, I'd get a PA and it's not what I was paying for. One PA was a real ASS, he misdiagnosed me and was not aware that I had a copy of the MRI. He stated that I had inflammation and arthritis, when I pulled up the MRI on my phone showed him that there were NO notes which meant i was ok. His jaw dropped and eyes widened. Then I said a couple of choice words and left to never return. I think some Drs that have practiced for a while feel that patients won't mind and this likely allows them to make more money. I had the same problem with Dr Savinon, except that with him I requested a reimbursement for blood tests that he or the PAs never gave me results of. His office manager Mr Green decided to discontinue service to me after I forced him to give me my blood test money back. I had already started looking for another Dr, why would I stay there. Be cautious of the PAs, request to see your Dr. its what your insurance is for.

They decide to tell me that they had trouble verifying my insurance and for that reason I was scheduled for an appointment they had over a month and I have to reach out to me and get this sorted and they choose a day of my appointment to look into my insurance. Once they finally did, they basically told me my insurance was only able to cover $75 off the entire visit and the consultation itself. I was looking at over $150 and asked for the procedures they were gonna do. I was looking at paying $1500-$5000. From my understanding, I thought pain management was just to help you with prescriptions. They told me prescriptions is not what they do and that it's more of a treatment center with different medical procedures. I waited a month and a half to see these people to help get my terrible pain under control only for them to wait the day of my appointment to be told this information. If I could give these people less than a one star, I would. Terrible communication and lack of care for the patient. Absolutely do not consider going here.

This is the first and only place among half a dozen facilities that was able to bend the curve of my life. I'll start with the most important thing they do: an adequate presentation of the program. You should have gotten this from AA, but unfortunately AA today is watered down. Groups focus on the problem not the solution. People who "just don't drink" tell others to do the same ... and astonishingly that doesn't work for them. So they get told they "need more pain" and sure enough they find it ... right before they die. Of course, you can't receive an adequate presentation of the program until your body and mind have been cleared. Their medical, psychiatric, and psychological care are unrivaled. Onsite nursing staff available 24/7 monitor those in detox and provide support for all patients throughout their stay. Also, licensed nurses dispense all meds and monitor adherence. None of the above would be possible without the beautiful facilities, amazing onsite catering, and daily housekeeping. Can you get sober in a roach motel, making your own meals, mopping your own floor? Sure. However, removing distractions and barriers gives you the luxury of focusing on what you came here for: learning to stay sober.

He's experienced a great deal of trauma from the medical field as a result of a disease he contracted at an early age. Needless to say, my father is not a fan of doctors and western medicine. However, Dr. Kotta earned my father's respect and trust. He has provided OUTSTANDING, compassionate care to my elderly father. My siblings and mother have passed.
