Best dental experience of my life! This place is a hidden GEM, every single person on staff is amazing. The front desk is always so kind and friendly and make it easy to schedule and to make appointment. I first called for an urgent appointment- Caitlin was my first introduction with this phone call- she was considerate and made me feel heard and due to a cancellation they were able to take me the following day! I had my teeth cleaned and Toby and Doctor Madhi understood my concerns and were very careful not to hurt my sensitive areas of my teeth while cleaning. Turns out I need my filling re-done, I came in with my "anxiety kit" as in general dental work is difficult for me and I have an esophagus issue which also makes this physically difficult. Doctor Madhi, Mandy, and Toby were more than understanding and accommodating. Not to mention it was quick!! I don't think I'll need my whole "kit" next time! But either way they made me feel comfortable and not judged. I will never go to another dentist again- this place is the holy grail!!! read more

3/25/26 I was able to get an earlier appointment due to a cancellation, which I really appreciated. I came in for an exam, cleaning, and to address some issues I've been having with my gums. Kalia took great care of me. She was gentle, caring, and answered all of my questions along the way, especially when I wasn't sure about something. She took her time cleaning and polishing my teeth thoroughly, inside and out, and I really appreciate the attention to detail. I tend to get nervous due to past experiences, but she made me feel at ease. The dentist came in to check my teeth and gave a quick explanation of the work I may need. I didn't catch his name since the interaction was brief, and it felt a bit rushed. I also felt the scraping on my front teeth to remove some tartar was quite rough, with noticeable pulling and tugging- it honestly made me worry my teeth might break. I didn't see Dr. Mahdi as he was on vacation. The front staff was friendly and welcoming. I'll be returning to see Dr. Mahdi to complete the rest of my dental work. read more

I had an onlay fall out while flossing on a Sunday evening, and I was worried about possible root exposure. My son called the emergency number on the website, and to my surprise, it went directly to Dr. Mahdi. He immediately pulled up my records, talked through what happened, and completely put me at ease by confirming there was no root exposure. His calm reassurance alone was a huge relief, and he got me scheduled for an appointment that same week. At my visit, his son Toby (I believe that's his name) was just as outstanding. He fitted me for a new onlay, took his time making sure the fit and color were perfect, and was both personable and professional throughout the entire process. And it's not just the clinical side that shines--the front desk staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always greets you with a genuine smile. Wonderful experience! From the first phone call to the initial exam/cleaning (the most gentle I can remember) and my consultation with Dr Mahdi, everything was stellar. Woah. I did not expect this place to be as good as it was. From my first phone call of interest with Dorilyn to actually walking in and being taken care of. To them taking me in immediately for a second opinion consultation, to Kalia collecting payment, and Suzanne squeezing a cleaning in for me- it's been great! Just moved to the Elk Grove area in September and was looking for a dentist. I was lucky enough to find them on my first try and am very impressed and happy with my treatment. Friendly staff tender treatment and very accommodating. I was getting on a ship for a cruise and I had a cracked crown that was Inflamed, and I was lucky enough to have the dentist call in a prescription for antibiotics so that I could enjoy my cruise without pain. I recently moved to the area and glad I found Laguna Premier Dental. Both visits have been very educational and pleasant. Dr, Mahdi is very straightforward and honest. I had a bad experience with the first dentist I found in this area. He told me I had 6 cavities and pressured me to get work done on at least 1. When I visited Laguna Premier Dental. Dr. Mahdi told me that the 'cavity' I had taken care of earlier wasn't even a cavity. All my teeth were fine. He also informed me of a TMJ lab in UCSF that might help my pain in that area. (I had seen a periodontist and an endodontist and they never mentioned this option.) The highlight is their fabulous dental hygienist Suzanne. She is so gentle when she cleans your teeth! (Prior to this my cleaning has resulted in sore gums that took 2-3 weeks to recover.) She is also very knowledgeable and compassionate. Hands down, the best experience I've ever had! I didn't feel tense at all. I hope she never retires. The staff are also super nice and patient as I kept calling them to send my referral. I don't feel the stress I usually feel when visiting a dentist. If you are looking for a new dentist I would give this office a try. read more

I take my dad here for his dental work. He's around 90 years old. Dr. Amar and his staff are very detailed oriented and patient. They don't rush anything and will guided us through every step of the process. Given my dad's age, he's not the best at following instructions initially. Luckily, Dr. Amar always has multiple ways to do one thing. So we're able to get the care my dad needs. Also, the complimentary water is nice. read more

As a new client, I am always apprehensive with Dentist. I worry about being upsold and excessive charges for services I don't need. I felt comfortable and not pressured in the least. The hygienist was very knowledgeable and skilled. Gave me great recommendations on home care. The Dentist was honest and kind and didn't recommend any unessesary treatments. Gave me insight on things to watch for but otherwise, no additional treatment needed at this time. I will keep them as my Dentist for all future care. read more

Seriously saved my life! I had been up all night with nerve pain coming from my tooth. Even though Doctor had a FULL schedule, he managed to squeeze me in for a root canal to relieve my nerve pain. He completed the whole procedure during his lunch and completely resolved my pain almost immediately. Just went back today for my crown and everything feels and looks amazing. Tried to make an appointment for my mother in law here and the receptionist was incredibly rude. I don't know who's idea it was to let their child do this job as some sort of spring break experience but they were wrong. It definitely cost them a whole family's worth of patients. She laughed at my mother in laws name, put me on hold 3 times, was rude/talked to me like I was another student at her school, and she could not type any of the information I had given her down, I had to repeat it multiple times. Needless to say don't let your child intern at your business when you haven't supervised their experience. It can cost you customers and tarnish your reputation. read more

Finally went to Laguna Premier Dental since switching from Laguna Bond Dental. We had gone to Doctor Gary Chow for over 20 years but he retired and Dr. Amar (first name) is the new dentist at this location. I have to admit I was nervous at first and dreading going to the dentist but from the moment I stepped in and was greeted by the very friendly receptionist I felt at ease! The dental hygienist Susan (Susie?) was SO wonderful! Absolutely the most gentle and thorough cleaning and she did a wonderful job with the X-rays as well. I met with Dr. Amar after that and he was very kind and knowledgeable. I'm no longer going to fret about going to the dentist! Thank you to everyone at Laguna Premier Dental! The dentil office is very nicely decorated and they have new X-ray machines that are much better for us than the older ones. I give them an A+ all around! read more

I had a really good experience at Laguna Premier Dental. I did not have a consistent dentist for many years and had to get a root canal and crown so I was pretty nervous but Christina the dental assistant was great and made me feel very comfortable. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Doctor Madhi was great as well he is very knowledgeable and helpful, you can tell he genuinely cares and looks out for his patients. My root canal was done by Dr.Amr and he was very professional and knowledgable, he specializes in root canals which made me feel very safe and comfortable. The receptionist Doralynn was very friendly and helpful when trying to get me booked for my appointments and also explaining my insurance to me.
