I wanted to share a follow-up review for Oak Tree Dentistry after bringing my son in for his scheduled cleaning and this visit meant even more to us. My son is on the autism spectrum, and experiences like dental visits can take a little extra time and care. From the moment his name was called by our hygienist, Abby, everything just felt right. She greeted him with such a warm and welcoming demeanor, patiently giving him the space he needed to feel comfortable walking into the room at his own pace. What truly stood out was how thoughtful the environment was, cartoons were already playing on both the wall and the ceiling-mounted TV above his chair, which immediately helped put him at ease. And Abby's work? Absolutely incredible. Her hands were so gentle and precise that my son was completely calm and, honestly, seemed to enjoy the entire experience. It's rare and incredibly heartwarming to witness this level of genuine compassion. The entire staff showed such kindness and understanding...it didn't feel clinical, it felt human. This review is for the front desk. Got stuck in traffic and arrived 11 minutes late. There is a 10 minute grace period, I arrived and someone from the back stated to the front desk "oh I canceled her appointment". Didn't notify me. It was literally one minute after driving an hour to get here. There was no "I'm sorry because you were out of the window for the grace period we have canceled your appointment". The lack of compassion from the front desk was the insulting part. So frustrating considering I have been coming here and have never had an issue. I even had a change of insurance that this office didn't accept and was going to pay cash for the visit. read more

I've been a patient here since it opened and Dr. Gill was doing cleanings. I really like it here and how close it is to me and the other places I go to often. Ever since she was hired I've had the same hygienist, Michelle. She's awesome!!! I never feel like she's judging me and I can joke around with her. I kinda miss the front receptionist (don't remember her name) from when this business first opened; I don't see her anymore. But she was way more personable. All in all I like this place. The front desk was friendly and helpful when I called about their in-office plans, which are a great value (even though I ultimately didn't need them). Dr. Dogra was thorough, walking me through my x-rays and explaining everything clearly. Dr. Gill is also amazing - professional, kind, and attentive. The hygienist who did my cleaning was gentle and explained every step, which made the whole process easy, even with my sensitive teeth. Friendly staff and dentist (I have Dr. Sharma for reference). They accept my Delta Dental PPO and are quite transparent and helpful when it comes to costs. I've had to have impromptu dental visits twice already this year and they were amazing and accommodating. I've also had multiple fillings done at once and Dr. Sharma was careful and kind in providing breaks due to my chronic bite and TMJ pain. Overall a great experience for me, which is saying a lot from someone who has had a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist since I was a child. read more

Another positive experience from Oak Tree. Noticed a couple differences though... My experience for my biannual appt was a little different this time. They played music louder than normal, and what was on the tv was something that was somewhat adrenaline related. If I recall correctly, they used to have r&b and oldies playing as music, and on a pleasant volume level. Additionally, what was on tv was something soothing like nature scenery or something about animals I think. Just a couple differences I noticed that were...interesting. I was doing a ton of research of local dental offices I could establish at in the area. Oak Tree stood out amongst the rest, and I was about ready to make my first appt in a few weeks. Lo and behold, I had a bad infection happen to me and the staff at Oak Tree was able to scheduled me on the SAME DAY to ensure I was cared for. Everything I read was spot on -- very friendly/courteous front desk, dental hygienist (I'm so sorry I forget her name!!) was SUPER welcoming and attentive to my needs, and Dr. Pham was so thorough in educating me about the dental procedure I was about to experience. I typically do NOT like going to the dentist, but legit felt like I was in good hands with Dr. Pham and the team. She handled the procedure like the professional she is, and I feel pain free as a result. Cannot thank you enough, Dr. Pham and team for taking care of me the same day when I needed it most. Here's my experience with Oak Tree Dental. I chipped a molar while I was eating. It didn't crack the tooth. I was not in any pain. Someone referred me to Oak Tree and I was able to get an appointment the next day. So I make arrangements for someone to babysit my toddler (remember this part). I show up for my appointment 10 mins early. I wait and wait and wait. I waited 50 mins before I was brought in. The dentist looks at my tooth and says it can be fixed easily but not right now because they're too busy. What the hec!?! They ask me to come back later that day! Reception tells me that it's $60 to fix my chipped tooth. So I agree. I make arrangements again for someone to watch my toddler! I come back to get my chipped tooth fixed. Oh guess what? It's not $60 anymore! I need a $1500 crown! Bait and switched! They must've found out that I still had insurance benefits and wanted to get paid as much as possible. I had to pay $500 out of pocket. Right before the holidays. Thanks! So they work on my tooth, give me a temporary crown and i come back 2 weeks later. I make arrangements for someone to watch my toddler again. I arrive for my appointment on time and I wait and wait. It's 25 mins before I'm called in. Why the eff would you schedule someone and make them wait way past their scheduled time? It's very inefficient. I get my permanent crown in and it takes a few weeks to get used to it. Before I leave though, they upsell some other product that costs $450. Uhh no thanks! I'm never coming back here. They do not value your time at all here. They just want your insurance money. It's upsell upsell upsell here. Response to their response: The cost for the crown was well over $1500. I saw the invoice with my own eyes. It's the fact that I was quoted $60 at first and then told upon my return that it was going to cost way more, that's not right. You denying that you don't upsell is ridiculous. Your response isn't sincere. That really shows what kind of a business you are. Update: Now I get a bill in the mail stating I owe even more money. What the hec!?! I really wish I never set foot into this dump. They are scumbags. read more

Friendly and impressive dental office/practice. Staff were welcoming, informative, and made you feel comfortable. I called in as a new patient, confirmed they accepted my insurance, waited 2 months for the appointment, and came in for the full exam & x-rays. Dr. Pham was very comprehensive and identified a fantastic treatment plan!! The huge downfall here is that they suddenly stopped accepting Guardian Dental Insurance and I am "out-of-network"... so my dental insurance coverage was quite minimal and I feel like that should've been made clear before my appointment even started. It would've saved both Oak Tree Staff + myself all that time spent to establish dental care. Guardian is still listed as one of their "in-network insurance companies" on the website and the entire process has been very misleading. Would love to return once this is sorted out, but for now... I'll have to take my business elsewhere. read more

My daughter had an appt to get her wisdom teeth removed and I received a call the night before that they don't even do the extraction necessary at that office and that they have to refer her to another dentist. Of course said dentist doesn't have availability for over a month, which wouldn't have been an issue if we had been given the correct info to begin with but now I have a child in discomfort that is going to be prolonged because the multiple people there that called to remind us over and over about the appt didn't even realize they can't even do it. I don't have the time or energy to waste with this unorganized mess of an office anymore. In addition to their constant appt reminders they will call the same day of your appts asking if you can drop everything and come in early because they have an opening because basically they want to get out early on a Friday. If you have an appt they are happy to charge you the $50 late cancellation/no show fee, but I'm betting I don't get a $50 check for their late cancellation. On top of them not being able to do work they booked an appt for a quick review of the referred dentist shows way too many bad reviews for the work she needs that I won't even take her there. Thank you so much Oak Tree for wasting our time, I'm sure my daughter is thrilled to continue several more weeks in pain and I truly enjoy scheduling time off of work for an appt that won't happen and again when I can find someone reliable to do the work. read more

I have been less than impressed with the service here. They push hard for positive reviews which have been very misleading. They accepted my daughter as a pediatric patient yet they lack the tools to properly give her an X-ray (things are adult sized and didn't comfortably fit to get proper images. The result being that she has two cavities once we took her to a proper pediatric office. Additionally, my spouse was told that he was on the boarder of needing a deep cleaning or a regular cleaning. He was told during his appointment for a scheduled cleaning that he could either do the deep cleaning now or come back and reschedule for a regular cleaning. We're not stupid... if you want us to help you in your insurance scheme just be up front about it. Needless to say, our children have moved on to better dentistry and we will too. read more

I really appreciate her because she is always checking on me to make sure I am okay. Like most of you, I hate the dentist but you can't avoid it. I was having significant pain and my dentist of record at the time was too busy to see me and scheduled me a month out. I looked through Yelp and found excellent reviews for Oak Tree Dentistry. I called Oak Tree Dentistry and they got me in that day. The tooth was bad and had to be pulled and they started the implant process. I experienced immediate relief and minimal discomfort with the extraction and implant placement. I have many other teeth that are worn down or missing and Dr. Gill developed a treatment plan that was easy to understand and affordable. Since that first appointment, they placed that implant crown, performed a root canal on another tooth, and crowned four more teeth. I appreciate Dr. Gill's technique. There is less drilling, grinding, pain, time in the chair, and post-procedure discomfort, than what I have experienced in the past with other dentists. Dr. Gill's assistant, Jenny, also provides great care during the procedures. I also had a cleaning appointment, and the technician Michelle did a great thorough job. The administrative staff I work with Samantha and Michelle are awesome. Billing is straight forward, and they make it easy to understand and it is reviewed at each visit. Appointment scheduling is easy, and they will reach out if earlier appointments become available. The entire staff makes you feel like they appreciate you as a patient. Thanks to Oak Tree Dentistry I am on the road to better dental health. They have performed beyond their Yelp reviews and have exceeded my expectations.
